I am trying to find a software for my Nokia 9300 regarding navigation system.i ve tried route 66 but is not compatible with my operating system. Any idea ?

Have you looked at Tomtom Mobile? 'Google it'! THere's one available in the UK for around £40

GPS software for TX??

Does anyone have suggestions for a good GPS software for the Palm TX? I noticed a freeware called Earthcomber USA. Does anyone know if this is compatible with the Palm TX.
Suggestion whether they are about Earthcomber or another software application are welcome and appreciated.

Have you tried Google Maps yet? Not a true GPS solution, but when you're in range of a Wifi signal it can give you driving directions.
I'm still using the original Mapopolis software with a DeLorme BlueTooth gps on my TX for true GPS pinpointing and routing. Unfortunately, they don't make maps for PalmOS any more.
I've seen Earthcomber before, and tried it once, but I believe I deleted it immediately for some reason.

Recommended antivirus and antimalware software for MaC

My computer is hanging up way to frequently and I think it is either a virus or lots of malware operating in the background. Does anyone know of a good Antivirus and Antimalware software for the MacBook Pro. mine is 4 years old and just updated the operating systerm OSX 10.8.5.

I agree that there would not be a virus causing the slow down, hackers can't be bothered to create a virus for a Mac, it is really hard to do and Apple only have 5% of the market/users.
Its more likely age.
Suggestions
-Full backup of your data(time machine) and then an erase and reinstall of the operating system. Then only return applications that you use and files that you need.
-Add more RAM, this will speed up your applications and startup time etc.
-Your hard drive may be reaching the end of its life, so replace it if you can.
Apple stores will do the erase and install of the operating system for you (free) and replace the hard drive if need be(not free). They are also good for a tune up(free). Are you close to one?
What are the specs of your computer (about my mac) serial number is better. This will tell me if you can get more RAM.

That would give you Boot Camp 3.0 drivers. With Snow Leopard and Boot Camp 3.0 you can install Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. With Lion and Boot Camp 4.0 you can only install Windows 7. If you install Lion with Boot Camp 3 and XP or Vista already on it it will work.

Did you ever install Acrobat? It is not installed automatically with CS, but requires an extra installation step.

GPS software for my T420

Hello! I've got a T420 that I love and I got Windows 8 for free from my uni, but after installing it I can't get the Lenovo GPS software to work. Microsoft Maps work with the built inn GPS but will, I hate Microsoft Maps (I know it uses the same maps as the lenovo app, but I have to go into metro to use it). I've tried getting Google Maps to work. Setting it on NMEA (also tried Garmin) but it can't locate me, I've given it hours to try whilst the Microsoft Maps can. So here is my question, can you guys recomend me any software where I can track my location in real time via my laptop? Preferably free and with the ability to pre-catch maps?
Oh as this is my first post here, hello everyone!

Well, I managed to get it to install; I had to run the installer, find where it had placed the Microsoft Installer .MSI file, edit the file with "Orca" (an installer debugging tool), and, eventually, removed the problematic scripting errors... lucky for me, they only existed in 2 places - one where it checked for the existence of the GPS device DLL's, and the other where it cleaned up old shortcuts after the install.
The guy at Lenovo -- when I called him -- was able to run the installer on his desktop (tho' of course it didn't find the GPS device). I can't imagine what's wrong with my Windows installation that could cause this odd problem; perhaps some strange registry state, or the wrong version of some DLL's that the installer depends upon (possibly some VBScript-related stuff).
Very very weird... unless someone knows why this happens, it remains a mystery.
In any case, if anyone else ever has this problem, try "Orca"... really useful!

Which GPS software for the N82 without A-GPS???

Hi, I am about to purchase my first Nokia phone, a N82. I also have never had a Symbian based phone before, either.
Which GPS software application do most people prefer for 'Turn by turn' navigation? Specifically, one that doesn't use the A-GPS function of the phone. I will NOT have a data plan with this phone, although I do have a wireless home network for downloading things.
Also, are any of them free to use??? I see some websites that look like they are free to download (http://www.nokiasymbianthemes.com), yet some places seem to want to charge a monthly fee (like the one that comes with the phone).
Any guideance here would be appriciated!

I just bought an N97. My old phone was an N95. The new phone, like the old phone, came with Nokia Maps. This is free to use, but it doesn't come with "Navigation". Navigation is the voice directions you expect to hear in the car. You have to buy a Navigation licence, either through the phone, through Nokia PC Suite, or from a third party site.
I took my old sim out and put it in my new phone.
When I tried the Maps function on my new phone, it went to the internet, found my old Navigation licence and transferred it to the new phone.
This left my old phone with no Navigation licence.I checked out various options to bring back the Navigation to my old phone including these:-
If you go through the phone, or PC Suite, you will have to buy a yearly licence. If you go to the TeleAtlas site, you will find McGuider software. This is another option.
This business of buying an annual licence has been bugging me for some time, so, In the end, I did what I've been thinking about for a while. I went
into Halfords and bought Garmin (UK and N, Ireland) software on a micro SD card for £49.99. One - off payment, not an annual charge.
It installs automatically, is a doddle to use compared with Nokia Maps, and gives you the option of using AGPS or not.
It's much easier to use than Nokia Maps, more intuitive, more powerful options, quick in its response, and I can finally read what it's telling me on the small N95 screen, as I drive.
I can heartily recommend it. Without the AGPS in use, it's still very quick in its response, but of course this is down to the quality of the GPS system, and where you are.

It is embarrassing enough that I am installing a copy of Windoze on my brand new Mac, not to mention voluntarily opening myself up to a host of viruses, spyware, and other PC garbage. If I can’t trust another Mac user for help here, then who can I trust?

After downloading and installing new software for AirPort Extreme from the Appstore, Skype will not open.

Did you repair permissions and restarted your computer after the installation?
Skype has their own forums for Mac users. You should post there if the above does not work.
