9300 excell and/or word attachments

I could not open yahoo.co.uk as cookies were not allowed. So I installed wap yahoo. I can see attachments to my e mails but cannot open them or save them to a folder. They are Excell and Word. Is this possible? If so could anyone advise how.

I hope this is the last stage to enable the phone to do all I require.
I have loaded yahoo web page and succeeded to downloaded attachment into my files section. When I try to open the spreedsheet however i get the following mesage.
'No application installed for this file.'
The wap yahoo does not let me even download the attachment.
I tried opening the attachment on my pc and importing it through the application installer on the pc suite but that does not let me open any excell or word files let alone move them to the phone.

Opening EXCEL and MS WORD doc requires login to WAS

Hi all, just have a question on when I open an EXCEL or MS Word document in a new window via below html statement, a logon on screen pops up and asking me to logon to the SAP Web Application Server, however, when I cancel, it will open the EXCEL/WORD, document, my question is, how can I remove/bypass the popup dialog screen asking me to logon to SAP WAS. Is this a network security issue?

Then the problem is with the relative path for your document. Your BSP application may be in a different node and your "docs" is in a different level in the sicf tree.
you have to use something like ../docs .

Fonts in Excel and MS Word are not replicated correctly when creating a PDF in Adobe Reader 10.1.11

when using Swis721 BlkOul BT, an outline-style font, I am getting another full-bodied text. Also, upon using RomanT and Simplex, the simplest font in use, a conversion still occurs. The print preview shows that everything will be fine, but the resulting PDF is not what is previewed.

I'm using a printer called Win2PDF. However, I haven't had this problem before. The Preferences tab indicates local fonts are used, and the Document Properties only shows two fonts, Helvetica and Helvetica Bold. How do I load the rest of these fonts that seem to be everywhere but here?

How can I embed files of word, excel, and pdf format in a pdf document

I have a word document of the product, which I am updating for next product release. However, there are some excel, word, and pdf files embedded within a word document. When I double click these embedded files in word, these files open in a new window. However, we deliver documentation to the customer in the pdf format. Therefore, when I am converting the word document in the pdf format, only an icon of the embedded file is displayed and the files do not open in a new window. Can someone let me know how can I embed these files (in word, excel, and pdf format) in a pdf document?

You must attach them to the PDF file after it is created. You cannot embed file attachments onto a page as you can with Word.

If your BB came with the DataViz ToGo apps, then you can indeed do what you desire. Check under (usually) Applications for Word-to-go, sheet-to-go and other ToGo apps. You can edit a file you save to your device or media card memory. You can send them as attachments. Etc.

Problem with "Save as Adobe PDF format" in Excel and Word

Hi
When I use printing zone in Excel and make a «Save as Adobe PDF format» (menu File / Save as Adobe PDF), the first save is well done. But when I make it a second time, what's not in the printing zone is printing in the document.
I have also problem with the «Save as Adobe PDF format» in Word. The images superposition are not well print.
I'm using Windows 7 in french, Office 2010 french and Adobe Acrobat XI standard. All is in the latest version.

The Save As PDF feature in Office2008 Call up a PDF Creator similar to the AdobePDF Print Driver. whch OX.6 can't use.
To create Pdf you have to use method used:

Not before you attempt to use this method if Rossetta is not installed. pop in your Systems DVD and install Rosetta. Then follow directions to install the Adobe Quality PDF Automator Script which will show up in the Print Menu. Click on Print > then click PDF. Then Click on Adobe quality PDF. AS for setting up Job options and other details Supposedly your suppose to have access. But I have no idea.
First thing Rosetta should be installed out of the box. and Second Adobe should install this Script from their installer. So their should be no intervention from the user. it should just work. Early report when OSX.6 first came out almost no one was able to get this to work. and I see periodic reports that people still can't get it tork and they have to to resort to saving as .ps files then droping on distiller.

Nokia 9300i and e65 won't open word attachments

I have a problem opening word documents created with office 2004 for mac on my two nokia smartphones 9300i and e65 when I email (with Mail) them as attachments to the phones.Please note that:
- no problem opening emails with these word attachments on Windows PCs.
- no problem opening these word files on the phones when sent to them via bluetooth.
-no problem opening word attachments whwn emailed to the phones with a PC
- and finally, no problem opening these word attachments on the phones if previously emailed to a PC, saved on it and then emailed backed to the phones.
- I checked the two phones with nokia after sales service and all related email settings, the devices are al ok.
It may be a problem connected to the 10.4.11 update.
Can anybody help?

WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT now crashing when saving new file

I have Microsoft Office 2004 WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT, which were working just fine for several days on 10.5.1. (all updates are current). Now, every time I try to save a new document, all 3 apps crash, with the following thing in common in the crash log:

This doesn't happen when opening an existing file, and saving changes to it. Note: A few days ago, I ran Disk Utility to do a permissions repair for another issue - could this have caused this issue?

I just fixed my own issue, based on a posting I saw in one of the other discussions. I did the same thing, by downloading the standalone update and then installing. After the required restart, everything worked fine!!! It seems like there was definitely a problem with the version that was installed via Software Update.

You cannot download or install Word or Excel for the iPad. MS has not released an iOS version.
There are MS Office compatible apps available in the app store like Quick Office Pro and Documents to Go. Take a look at those and see what you think. Apple also has their iWorks suite of apps, Pages, Numbers and Keynote that are compatible with the MS Office apps.

I just installed the Lion operating system, basically to upgrade my iPhone. I didn't realize that my Microsoft Office 2004 application would no longer work. I have been using Word for my writing and I receive most of my emails with Word attachments. I have been using Apple products for years, always touting their reliability and customer service. I am not a techie, I just want to be able to do what I do on the computer and Apple always fulfilled my needs. Now I am told because of some operating system gobbledygook, I have to go out and purchase new software to use Word. This is despicable. I see no particular benefit to using Lion, but I do see a lot of detriments. Apple now seems to have turned into Microsoft, making software obsolete so they can make more money and to **** with the customer. You can be sure that my next computer will be a PC. I have completely lost confidence in Apple.

I seem to never tire of saying this. It was for Apple when they first announced 10.7 to disclose this. Yes, it was widely reported -- or rather, rumored -- but not by Apple. And many people who have gotten caught by this assumed that Apple itself would have told them beforehand about the loss of this very important feature which they had come to rely on. As far as I know, not even in fine print, does this appear anywhere on the Lion announcement or any of its links.
I am not saying Apple had to continue Rosetta in Lion, or forever, just that if it was going to be dropped, it should have been made known.
As relative "insiders" we should not forget that many people don't have the time, habit or interest to do this kind of research. I think it is a breach of trust that Apple has never directly made this announcement or given people the opportunity to decide beforehand if giving up their PPC apps for a new OS is a worthwhile tradeoff.

How to use documents MS-Word-Excel and Pdf on iPhone 4S

Before I bought the iPhone I was using Sony Ericson X1 Xperia. On this phone I could easily read & write on documents MS-word/excel and transferred them from and to my PC with Windows 7.
Till now I cannot find an easy way to transfer these documents onto my iPhone to edit, create or read. Have already installed iTunes, iCloud and one app numbers. Sofar no success to have it on my iPhone.
