9360 BBM Pictures Appear Small In Size

Hi, when I purchased my BlackBerry Curve 9360; 2 months ago, I updated my outdated apps including my BlackBerry Messenger(BBM) that had been version 6 at the time to the latest it was which was version 7. After adding all contacts needed, whenever one changed their Display Picture I'd have to zoom in on it because they were appearing to be small.
But, when I checked a contact with the same picture on my cousin's phone, BlackBerry Curve 9320, they'd appear much larger likely to be fullscreen. I've deleted my BBM and re-downloaded it and no luck, as well as security wiped the entire smartphone as well, even adjust my camera image size settings thinking that had affected my BBM contact's Display Pictures, but no luck. I'm really struggling with this, because whenever I save one of my contact's Display Picture it would still remain the same small size as it showed on BBM in the picture folder.
Please help with this issue, I'm looked every where, Google, BlackBerry Forums, etc. This is my last hope, and it does not appear that anyone else is experiencing this problem.

That didn't work. And when I tested one of the photos and then reverted it back to the original, there was a black square where the picture used to be. I actually had to sync it a few times and then turn the phone off and on to have the photo back where it was. I'm assuming this is a problem that Apple is working on since the update. What a pain. But thanks anyway for trying to help.

How can I permanently increase the size of websites?They appear small on my 1080p laptop display and I dont want to press ctrl + on every website.

I bought a new laptop with a resolution of 1920x1080. Whenever I open sites with firefox, they appear small. I have to press ctrl++ to zoom in for every page I visit. This is getting annoying. Is there any way to permanently zoom a page so I don't have to do it for every website?
P.S. I know that I can increase the font size permanently that that doesn't help with the images and the page doesn't render correctly.

You can also increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 2.0 in 0.1 steps to see what works best.<br />
In Firefox 3.6 and later this pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements more precisely.
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />

A small picture appears next an item

Hi,
I want to make a list of things, when I move the mouse over an item, a small picture appears next to it. when I click on an item it sends me to another scene _page_ within the flash.
I tried several ways but I couldnt figure it out.

In smartform folder's size appears smaller than main window

Hi all,
I used folder and table in main window. table takes the width of main window but folder does not takes. in print preview folder's size appears small then table. please suggest how to increase the size of folder.

Try this way , First create a window inside the main window then create your folder node. Generally if you are creating a node inside the node it takes the default of main window.

When importing from external hard drive, photos appear as thumbnail size. How do you edit. Working on imac- snow leopard

I have photos on an external hard drive. When I try to import them to iphotos they appear as a thumbnail (?), small in size. How is the photo restored to its original image. If I try to print, it comes out pixelated. I have many photos on hard drive and would like to restore to original size. Using Leopard OS

and the only time I see the pixellation problem is when the original photo's file size is small.
What did you expect? Of course if the file size is small it won't print well. There isn't enough data to create a reasonable quality print.
Web Photos are - typically - very heavily compressed to speed up downloading. I've seen Facebook photos - for instance - lose 90% of their file size after being "processed". There is no way that a 20kb file is going to print well at any size greater than a postage stamp.
So, basically, the problem you have is the photos you are importing, I'm afriad.

I uploaded the new firefox and all of my texts and pictures became small. ive tried the zoom, enlarging the texts, and even add-ons and nothing is working. how can i get it back to were it was before i downloaded the new firefox?

Use the Expert tab in Editor (I think that is what it is called in PSEv.13)
You may find the grid helpful. Go to View>Grid. It will not print, but will help to orient you. You can set up the gridlines to suit via Edit>Preferences>Guides and Grid. If you want to partition the picture in to 4 uniform pieces, it would be Gridline every 50%, Subdivision 1. Also, go to View>Snap to>Grid.
Set up the Rectangular marquee tool: If the picture is 6" wide & 4" high, enter width=3in & height=2in.on the tool's option bar. This will be a fixed size.
Click and select one quadrant, press CTRL+J to place this quadrant on a separate layer
Repeat for the other 3 quadrants
You should end up with 5 layers : Background, and layers 1, 2, 3, 4.

are getting distorted or blurred when user chooses larger font size in Adobe Digital Editions.
Can anyone, please guide me; how to get non-distorted and non-blur images in epub package?
If I directly use images, without svg format i.e. png or jpg files, then images get overlapped on body-text in two column display in ADE.

if I directly use jpg or png with width attribute varying in percentage value then image shrinks and grows as user chooses smaller and larger font size but the problem of distorted image remains as it is

Hi DenisonDoc,
There is no option right now to set properties globally primarily for Text fields. You may make sure fields doesn't contain anything.
Select all the text filed from the form and right click any of the selected field make sure all of them are selected choose properties --> Appearance there you can choose Font Size and Font type.
- End users cant change size and type of font. It is up to designer.

I am attempting to make a video clip appear smaller with a black background, the way movies often do when they show out takes at the end during the credits. I'm sure this is something pretty simple, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Cannot recall the full line-up of Effects in Pr 6.5, but you should have the fixed Effect>Motion>Scale, which will allow you to resize the Clip. You might need to use Motion>Position in addition. Basically, you will doing a PiP (Picture in Picture), with no Clip below, just the black showing.

This may not be it, but just thinking, your old Mac and new MacBook - your new MacBook is most likely retina, and your old Mac was not... Because of the higher pixel density of the retina, photos that were larger on your less pixel density older Mac would have appeared larger than they do on the new retina MacBook.
It is something I had to get used to myself... I have my 15" MacBook, and a second external 27" monitor that I use for photo editing ... On my MacBook retina, the screen is 2800 x 1800 px, for a 220+ dpi resolution, whilst my 2nd monitor is like an older iMac before they went retina also - 2560 x 1440 px @ just under 109 dpi, in other words, half the pixel density and resolution of my MacBook, so images take up more space, and are larger on my 2nd monitor, while they are more compressed and smaller on my MacBook.
So, your photos still may be the same size, but because of the retina screen, they just appear smaller. Again, this may not be it, but just something you may think about too.

Replace pictures with small number of pixels

I imported pictures, edited all of them, then noticed that they are small, eg. size 190 KB. Trouble!!! Is there any way to link the edited images with the full size images that are of several MB's?? Hate to lose all the work that was done in editing.

I am on a Mac. Below is sad saga of what happened!
1. Downloaded trip photos from Canon SX50 in early 2012, stored in file
2. Inserted Powerpoint slides that show country, city, with history, etc to create travelogue. These slides are in MB (eg. 3.5 MB, 1.4MB, etc.)
3. Learned about Lightroom 5 from friend a month ago, wanted to edit photos in Lightroom 5, so saved photos and powerpoint slides on computer A to an external drive. Imported photos from external drive to computer B that has Lightroom 5 software
4. Edited all photos
5. Exported edited photos to hard drive, into file of LR edited pictures
6. Dumped original files (bad move!)
7. Noticed that exported photos are all in KB's. Checked in LIghtroom. Lightroom shows small image sizes.
8. Reloaded original files with photos from external drive as before. Tried to relink with photos in Lightroom. Did not work.

Iphoto 6- Missing photos/Other photos appear small

OK. I'm new with computers and my Mac.
I have two identical film rolls in Iphoto 6.
The photos in Roll A have been replaced with
a gray box and an exclamation point. I followed
the directions to try and retrieve these photos, but the
Iphoto would not let me put these photos into Iphoto
because they are already in Iphoto?!?!?
Roll B has the same photos as Roll A, but these appear small- 360X270-
while all the other photos in my other rolls are 2816X2112.
If I can't retrieve the original photos in Roll A, can I at least
fix the photos in Roll B so they look like all my other photos?

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. Printing appears small

Does anyone have any idea why my printouts are appearing small? Whenever I select the print option the printout prints to the top left 25% of the page only and not the full page. This happens even though the print preview shows that it is going to print the full page. It is printing everything but just sqeezing it down to about 25% the original size. I always put settings to: Print full page, or Scale to 100% or Scale to Fit, etc
I am using Mac OS 10.6.8 on a MacBook (Older black type) using the applications Mail, Preview and Safari. MS Word prints ok which is leading me to think that perhaps this issue is tied to the Mac OS. The printer is a Canon MX350 but my feeling is that this is not a printer issue as the problem is not consistent, it seems to varry across applications.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Using Safari as the program from which to print -
Check in the Print window (the window that appears when you select Print from the File menu, or press Command-P). There's a pulldownmenu underneath the Orientation section; it should show Safari -
Click that menu and select Layout from it. The window will change to show some new items -
In particular, look at the item Pages per Sheet. If that is set to 4, then the page will be reduced and printed on just one-quarter of the paper. Resetting that to 1 should return the print to full-size.

How do you find the frequency of a small sample size and a square wave.

I am collecting data from ten 12v pulses that are seperated pretty uniformly. The pulses make a square wave. I need to know how to input this small sample size and find it frequency. I need this frequency to be output in a readable file. Im not very knowledgeable in labview so if you try and help me please be very descriptive.
I know i need some sort of trigger because of uknown wait times before the sensor will be triggored but other than that im pretty lost. Any help would be appreciated.

What have you tried so far? What parts are giving you trouble? Please be as specific as possible. Post the code you have written.
You ask about frequency measurement and then you are talking about triggering.
If you always have 10 pulses, just measure the time from the beginning of the first pulse to the beginning of the last pulse. The frequency is 10/time.
Break down the problem to smaller parts. Acquire the data. Measure the frequency. Save the result to a file. Get each part working separately, then put them together.

Many newer cameras have the Micro USB cable you can use.
Otherwise, you will need to buy one to restore your Apple TV.
