9360 is not coming up after apps upgrade

Hello,
I just upgraded some apps on my BB 9360 of just a few days after which I tried restarting the BB over an hour ago. But it just keeps rebooting over and over again without the phone coming up. I charged IT for over an hour thinking probably the battery was low, but to no avail.
Please advice on what to do as the BB just keeps rebooting.

Solman system not coming up after Kerbel upgrade

Hi All,
We are not able to bring the system up after kernel upgrade on our Solution Manager Development system.We were trying to upgrade kernel from 32 to 94.
Solman is on Netweaver 7.0 EHP1
We are having our Opearting Sytem as AIX 5.3
Our database is DB2 version 9.1.5
DB2 is installed on Mainframe.

As per the error we found that SAPCL is not installed (Note 1236755), but further analysis we found that SAPCL & Kernel Upgrade are independent of each other.
Can Restarting the DB2 database help on this issue?

Essbase not coming up after the upgradation of server

Hi , Can any one help me out inthis. There was a solaris server upgrade on which our essbase isresiding(version 6.5.4).After the upgradation,the application wentdown and when we tried to bring essbase up we got an error messageas below:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Fatal Error: Essbase is already loaded ld.so.1: ESSBASE: fatal: libessnet.so.1: open failed: No such fileor directory---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Was this because the upgradation has corrupted some of thefiles? can anyone please tell me what does this file do with theessbase coming up. Or if anyone has faced similar kind of problem.

I don't know why this spec has anything to do with my problem.
As I stated before, I have NO PROBLEM with nvidia card installed on my system.
I can hear the computer running through POST but I cannot see anything on my display until the blue Windows Welcome screen and my desktop.

ASM not coming up after OS upgrade

Hi All,
I'm very new to Oracle, i had a perfectly working test environment on a virtual machine running RHEL5.8 and Oracle 11.2.0.4, on single node env.
I then did an OS upgrade (with linux upgradeany option) from RHEL5.8 to RHEL6.4. Upgrade process went smoothly and from the OS side, everything was working as expected.
However, ASM did not startup (check with ps -ef |grep smon & pmon) and both returned nothing.
Please suggest any fix that might help resolve this. I'm willing to try any command suggestions as this is a test box.

I had a separate session to the same box and i was tail-ing system log - messages and the message below came up:

CSS Service not coming up after reboot

I installed oracle 10.2.0.2 (X86_64) on SLES 9 (x86_64) NON_RAC (single instance with ASM) and the CSS service is not coming up after reboot. If i do localconif reset then it starts up but fail after every reboot. Here is the data to debug:

I checked on metalink and found that this error can occur due to some old oracle references or changes in the uid of users but this is fresh install no oracle was there before and we didnt' change the OS user's uid also.
Please let me know what else to check or SR is the only option?

Do you mean CRS rather than CSS?
I note that your database is patched to 10.2.0.2 but your CRS is still at 10.2.0.1. Bring both to 10.2.0.3 and if that doesn't resolve the issue open an SR at metalink.
Do not install the January CPU ... it appears to have issues with RAC that we are currently investigating.

IPAD not coming up after restoring to factory setting

after a succesful trial on a colleagues itune pending upgrade of mine to the latest version, we successfully set up mi nenly acquired IPAD but later restore to factory setting when we discovered it was 'not charging'. Unfortunately, my IPAD has not been coming up after my upgrade (it is not even seeing itune anymore)- not even on anybody else's system. Can you please offer any help.

i had a scare tonight as IMAME4all is out i thought id try to have a look and my ipad wouldnt restore in itunes i tried three times and on the last as it was trying to wait for ipad i noticed that home sharing was on in itunes i turned of off in the menu and bang it bleww up .... / no not really but it started restoring and all good for normal pad.

SAP is not coming up after installing Java Add-in

I have installed a Java Add-in for an existing ABAP system. At the stage of "start J2EE engine" it is throwing an error message saying that Java is not coming up after 1142 seconds. I checked config tool and it is working fine. I restarted SAP. After restarting SAP, SAP is coming up and after 1 or 2 mins the disp+work is getting stopped and all the work processes are getting died. I couldn't able to understand & resolve the issue. "disp+work" process in not getting started after kernel upgradation

I am new to SAP. I installed SAP ECC6 EHP4 with default kernel version 701 and it was working fine.
I have upgraded kernel version from 701 to 741, but the “disp+work” process is not getting started after kernel upgrade.

Jave is not coming up after SID refresh where as ABAP is Up

Recently I completed system refresh for Solution Manager 4.0 with DB SQL Server 2005 on Duel stack and Java is not coming up after SID refresh where as ABAP is Up.
Please advise where to check as i check Disp log and Java Dispatcher is not coming up and giving error DB connection.

How did you do the refresh? What method, export with SAPINST(both ABAP and Java)?
Post the DB connection error you are getting.

lock_sga is parameter set to false.
cat /var/opt/oracle/oratab entries are set to Y
Still Databases are not coming up after server reboot.

Can you post further information from alert log. Doesn't coming up, means you needs to share the information some thing about your environmente settings about kernel parameter and init$ORACLE_SID parameters details.
That would be easy for others to look into it further to analyze things.

Access point are not coming up after upgrade image of WLC

Hi,
I have AIR-WLC4402-50-K9 WLC i that current IOS is 7.0.98.218 and i upgraded with 7.0.116.0 IOS but after upgrading and reboot the WLC from 15 access point 3 access point are not coming up and 12 are coing up and working fine (4 1142 and 11 1131 series access point) 3 which are not coimg is 1131 series access point. when i login with console to 3 access point its rebooting 2 times and coming on ap: prompt.
In between that i reloaded the WLC one more time because from 15 acess point only 4 aceess point are came up and i also cleck the show boot on wlc its output is
7.0.116.0 (default)
7.0.98.218 (active)
so i reload the wlc and checked out of 15 acess point now 12 acess point are up and still 3 are not. And i also checked the output of show boot command its
7.0.116.0 (default)(active)
7.0.98.218
So i things its because of when 2nd time i reload the wlc the remaining 3 access point are getting image from wlc but because of reload its connection should be loss and error loading flash error are coming on acess point.
After that i recover the IOS for access point and convert into autonomus and from autonomus convert into Leightweight Access point. I also attached the procedure for recover the ios of access poing
But my question is why this 3 access point are not coming up is this happen's after upgrading wlc can any one please send me Step by Step WLC S/W Upgrade' process and if this this happens some time please send me any doccument related to this.

When you rebooted the controller did you do it from the Web GUI, the CLI, or did you physically reboot the controller? I believe and maybe incorrect but if your getting the ap: < prompt > that means that there is no firmware on the unit. If you have restored these to functioning autonomous unit and then re-converted them to Lightweight and it's still happening then we need to look at a debug output of what is happening when those AP's attempt to join the controller.
The capture you attached shows that it appears to join the controller and get a config, but are you saying that when it reboots again it stops working?? the other thing I would reccomend is clear out the flash memory since your capture shows the possibility that there are several copies stored there.

Tuxedo not starting up after Database upgrade to 9.2.0.8 on AIX 5.2

Server AIX 5.2
Database 9.2.0.8.
I recently upgraded my Oracle database from 9.2.0.6 to 9.2.0.8 and after the upgrade Tuxedo has failed to start successfully.
I am getting the error messages
CMDTUX_CAT:819: INFO: Process id=41800 Assume started (pipe)..
I have been reading a number of articles on metalink and the web and they seem to point to an incompatible version somewhere.
The upgrade went through without any error messages.
The strange thing is that the XA log files from when the application was working correctly before the upgrade show
ORACLE XA: Version 9.2.0.1.0. RM name = 'Oracle_XA'
in the headers of the logfiles however after the upgrade the info in the header has changed to
ORACLE XA: Version 8.0.6.0.0. RM name = 'Oracle_XA'.
Does anyone know any reason why the 9.2.0.8 patch will changed the Oracle_XA version?
Has anyone come across this before?

I know this may sound silly but after the upgrade (and this is the second time i have done it) it seems to change the format of the logfiles.
This happened last week and the patch was rolled back and the application worked fine.
Did the upgrade again and the same issue arose.
The app dont start and the logfile format have changed again.
The format before the upgrade was xa_CLSUAT_07022007 but after the upgrade it as changed to xa_CLSUAT_070207.
The upgrade went fine but my question here is does the 9208 change any date format in the database?
