945GM3-F and E6300 - FSB not correct

I've had my 945GM3-F for a little while now but I didn't notice this problem until now...
In the BIOS the CPU is showing properly as E6300 @ 1.86 GHz. The CEL menu also shows Adjusted CPU clock 1066 MHz and Adjust CPU FSB Frequency 266. When I boot into WinXP the System properties shows Core2Duo E6300 1.86 running at 931 MHz. I also checked CPU-Z and it is confirming a 133x7 = 931 Mhz speed. What is going on here?

Have you fixed the problem? I got the same problem with 945GM3-F and Core 2 Duo @ 2.4GHz.
At first (for the period after I bought the MBs), the boot-up screen shows 266x9=2394MHz but after days and times of re-boots it became 133x9=1197. I only run GNU/Linux on the MBs. "Cat /proc/cpuinfo" shows "cpu MHz : 2394.089" at first but after the failure it becomes 1197.something.
Once it became 1.2GHz(1197) you can't recover. I tyied everything I can do including BIOS update (5.30), BIOS battery removing, safe-default load... but no luck.
I experienced with THREE 945GM3-F with two Core 2 Duo @ 2.4GHz. Now I belive this is BIOS BUG.
I am not sure but according to my feeling, after boot failure of some reason and forcing reboot by reset button or power off/on sequence, the clock becomes half. Just I feel, no evidence.
Fortunately I found one solution. Remove AC power and remove BIOS battery then leave it for 30 minutes. It may recover (or may not recover I can't guarantee).
I really wish MSI engineers recognize this problem and fix the BIOS as soon as possible.

Vendor Invoices - Entered on and parked details not correct

Hi since we upgraded to ECC6 we have noticed that the dates stored in the Header of both LIV and Direct Entry invoices are not correct.
If we Park a invoice we have a the corrected Entered on and Entered By details is correct.
Then when the document is posted the entered on date and user name then changes to the date the invoice was posted on the system.
We need to be able to see when the document was originally put on the system as a parked document so we can determine how long it takes us to process them.
I have checked in bkpf and usname and ppnam is the same and nothing in sname.
I cant see any OSS notes to say this is a known problem. Does anyone know how to resolve this.

Unfortunately it is not that simple.
We need to use the vendor tax date in the document date so this cannot be used.
We could also do with storing the date we scanned the invoice to workflow but there is no spare fields for this either.

Previous Meter Reads and Usage are not correct after meter Proration

It seems that during proration there are two meter reading available the one with the Meter Reading type as 03 ( Automatic Estimation ) and other is Meter Reading type 01 - MR By employee that is being retrieved. The 03 reading type seems to be the reading after the proration and the o1 reading is the reading done before the proration . The reads are coming out on our invoices incorrectly. Usually there will only be one Meter reading to be picked up. but it seems do proration it splits meter into 2 entries. The entry with with metering type 01 has the correct previous and current meter reads but incorrect usage. The entry with meter read 03 has the incorrect previous meter read and correct current meter read but incorrect usage. Our print work bench generated fiction is calling SU_DB_ERCHZ_SELECT_BILL_NEW to retrieve the values but the values that it retrieves are not correct., The second records is being put on the invoice. The form that exist in the SU_DB_ERCHZ_SELECT_BILL_NEW is called db_erchz_select_join and is used to retrieved the usage and meter reads.. This information is then passed to out user exit.
The previous meter read should be 5,073,998     and the usage should be 7500

Why the time and date is not correct when I save a waveform in txt format, using Labview 6.1?

I am using Labview 6.1 and my operation system is Windows 98. The date/time properties is configured in the Windows (time and date in the control panel is correct). I generated a waveform using Basic Function Generator.vi and saved this using the Export Waveforms to Spreadsheet File.vi. When I opened this file the date and time was wrong. Only the delta t was correct and it did not show the date neither the time, only a float number. How can I adjust the correct time?

Actually, the date/time is correct, it is expressed as seconds since January 01, 1904.
In order to print the string version of the date/time from your file, you will need to write a utility that converts the date/time to a string or series of strings in whatever format you wish. This can be done by reading the first line (I assume that is the line with the time on it), formatting the date/time into a string, and writing over this information in the file.
The waveform VIs were meant to be used internally to read and write waveform data. Any use beyond that should require you to add formatting and other information/data as necessary.

Current measurements between 4071 and 2575 sometimes not correct

I'm using PXI-4071 and a PXIe-2575 in handshaking mode with a scan list.
The DMM is measuring current and the MUX is in 1x196 mode.
When running the scan list, I rarely (randomly) get a very small measurement in the nA to uA (when it should be 4-20mA). I'll run the scan list again and that channel will be correct, so it doesn't seem to correspond to a channel.
I've tried increasing the settling time of both the DMM and the MUX, but neither have had any effect.
Any help would be great.

Is the relay board relatively old? If a board is close to end of life, there is a chance that the relay will sporatically not close and/or open. If the relay is stuck open, the DMM might measure very low current because no current is flowing (and only noise is coming through).

Now and Next details not correct

Seems that my box updated a couple of weeks ago and since then the now and next function doesn't work properly.
Often the display states "No Info" or displays the incorrect time and program for what is actually being shown on the channel.
Anyone else experiencing issues?

I've noticed that as well in the last few days. It is usually slow to complete the info when changing channel and sometimes displays info that is just plain wrong. I wonder if it's a fault with the 7.1.7 version of the software?
I also noticed that a few times I had paused a live program and then left it paused until after the program ended. Pressing info then gave no info at all. The box had got confused and given up. Not sure if it does that every time.

Quicktime Plugin crashes and Window size not correct when running a course from an LMS (Coursemill)

I am trying to run a course from an LMS (Coursemill) and a couple issues are occurring.
First, the quicktime plugin crashes, therefore the mp3 sound of the course does not play. When I reload the page, I get an "Unable to find API adapter" error message and the page won't load.
Also, the predetermined window size does not work properly and I end up with vertical and horizontal scroll bars which I do not want.
These issues are of high importance and need a solution ASAP. Please contact me.

Vista/iTunes reports iPod corrupt (and Restore does not correct it)

I have a 16GB nano, a Dell laptop running Windows Vista Business Edition, and a home-built PC running Windows XP SP3. On the XP desktop machine, both Windows and iTunes work perfectly fine with the iPod. All is great.
On the Vista laptop, it's a no-go. Windows says there's a disk there, but only offers to format it (as if it's a new, unformatted disk; and if I let it, it reports a failure to format successfully). iTunes reports that it's corrupt and offers to restore it, but after restore process completes, it once again reports the problem and offers to restore it again. Interestingly, this iPod came formatted for Mac, and the restore process did/does successfully convert it to PC format. Only afterward, we're back to the usual error message.
I'm not sure if the issue is the laptop (and some funky USB hardware port thing), or if it's Vista (and some funky Vista software thing). Or, is it possible there's really something wrong with my iPod and XP overlooks it?
I've performed the 5 R's, and tried a lot of uninstall/reinstall/update the install with USB devices and drivers, with no change. I'm not really certain how to proceed. My gut tells me the iPod's ok; but I'd like to be sure.
I'd mostly like to verify that: (a) my iPod is really fine - and either - (b) the laptop has a hardware issue - or - (c) Vista has a software issue. If I solve the laptop/Vista issue, that would be icing on the cake (I'm content to use the XP machine for iTunes), but it's not critical as long as I can feel confident the iPod's okay after all.
Let me know if there's anything else I can tell you, or if you have any suggestions.

It could be an indication or a damaged or dying hard drive. I would recommend doing a disk diagnostic on the iPod's HD using the instructions given by turingtest2 in this older thread. He also covers what the resulting numbers indicate.

Compressor 3.02 In and Out Points Not Correct

This is a follow up to my compressor truncating movies post. I'd like to reiterate that my workflow has not changed and no new software has been added to my system. This work flow used to work like a charm, however after the most recent pro applications update this bug surfaced.
If i drag and drop any uncompressed .mov into compressor, compressor incorrectly detects the in and out points for that clip and truncates the file on output. It seems to be by the same amount every time.
Example:
Clip 1 is a 320x240 uncompressed .mov file created and exported directly from final cut pro (exported as self-contained). the file is 1:53:32 in duration.
Drop that clip into compressor and it sets the in-point at 59:56:09 (it does this every time no matter what clip i try to compress...) and incorrectly reports the duration of the movie as 1:53:05. these in and out times and duration are found in the preview window. no in and out points are set in compressor.
this being said, the resulting output file (same size, same frame rate - no changes to timing) is truncated and the last 4 seconds and change are cropped off the end of the clip.
Any ideas? anybody else have the same kind of problem and find a fix?

right - the question is... what do we do about it?
i have been able to narrow this down to a problem with footage that's 23.98 fps only however as this is part of my 24p workflow - and because it's the only reason i'm using fcp at this point -- in essence, this problem renders the entire final cut studio useless.
so frustrating!
who's found a workaround/fix for this?? i've been using this same workflow successfully for years and in previous versions of final cut. this problem only surfaced in the past couple of weeks.
