9505 Post Office unavailable, with POA 2014 using SOAP SSL

Hi,
I don't know if there is something strange with my customers system, or I found a bug...
I've just upgraded the Primary and PO server to GW2014, while WebAccess server is still on 2012. Trying to log in gives error 9505 that the PO is unavailable. All communication to https://po-ip:7191/soap is working fine.
Disabling SSL on SOAP and WebAccess is functioning again. As there are no SOAP SSL switches in the webacc.cfg I'm not able to make it work with SSL.
Is there some way to fix this - except upgrading WebAccess to 2014, or disabling SSL on SOAP??

I guess the question is "what is keeping WebAccess 2012 around?"
It is easy enough to upgrade, and if you have some GW 2012 POs around
there is a mechanism in Webaccess 2014 that will have it redirect to an
older Webaccess URL if the POA is still on an older version.
On a POA you can have two SOAP ports. Perhaps one SSLized for most
things, the other open for the old Webaccess.

  • Unsing RequestOneWayBean with Do Not Use SOAP Envelope

    HI All ,
I have a requriement where Ecc is calling PI with an Asyn Proxy and PI calls a Sync Webservice and gets the Response back and sends the response back to ECC in Async manner . (Async - Sync Bridge).
I need to call aWeb Service which required specifc SOAP  Headers . SO I have  created a Custom Structure via XSLT mapping and calling the Web Service with the Option  Do Not Use SOAP Envelope as checked . I have also used the RequestResponse Bean & ResponseOneWay Bean in the SOAP Receiver adapter to make the call from Sync to Asyn.  When I execute the Interface the response from the Web Service is  not flowing into PI .
I am getting the error "Exception caught by adapter framework: InterfaceDetermination did not yield any actual interface" .
Has anyone worked on the ResponseOneway Bean with parameter "Do Not Use SOAP Envelope as checked" . Can some one please help me out with this issue..
    Thanks
    Regards
    NIlesh Taunk.

    HI Eng ,
I have not been able to accept the SOAP Fault Response. The link that you have provided above works for accepting the SOAP Fault . But in my case the SOAP Receiver Adapter has the Option "DO NOT Use SOAP Envelope " checked . So it is still not working in my case .
I have made all the Configurations in the Receiver SOAP adapter but am unable to get the fault response back .
Please find below the Screenshot of the Receiver SOAP Adapter.
Im my case I am able to receive the successfull response in my Response Mappping (I have created a diff ICO for Response Message and a diff ICO for Fault Message). When a fault is received even the Fault message goes to the response mapping and it fails in the response mapping as the fault structure & the response structure do not match .
Do we need to make some additional configuration  for the handing  faults, whn the option "DO NOT use SOAP envlope is checked" as it removed the Env from the messgaes.
Am I missing something, would you be able to have a look.
    Thanks

  • Connecting XI with other XI using SOAP adapter, is it possible?

    Hi all,
I know that for connection between XI’s is recommended using XI connectivity adapter. But I want to send/receive messages trough other XI outside of my network and I’m thinking using SOAP adapter for effect. Is it possible?
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers,
    Ricardo.

Yes, it is. But why? Both are SOAP messages based on HTTP.

  • Posting a File with Date Time using FTP in a BPM scenario

    Hi All,
I have got a following requirement within the BPM ::-
Step 1: We receive a file from an external system using FTPS with File Content Conversion Mode. The file is a comma separated file.
Step 2 : We need to write the same file without any changes in data elements to another File System. The file to be written will be comma separated.
Step 3 : The data will be mapped to an RFC and there will be a RFC Call to the ECC system.
Step 4 : On successful call to RFC, the file will be dumped into the SAP File system also.
The issue here is in Step 2. The additional requirement for Step 2 is to name the file with the following convention -
    ABCDEF_<Date in MMDDYYYY>_<Time in HHMMSS>_<Time in ms>_data.txt
Can you help me on how to configure this from within the BPM ? I have seen blogs and replies in forum on using UDF's for the same. I am not sure on how to do this in BPM.
    Please help !!!
    Thanks,
    Amit

    Hi,
I dont think you required BPM in this case, you can achieve this requirement using Multi mapping.
    3 Receive comunication channels
1)to send file to receive File directory9Content conversion required)
2)RFC Receiver Communication channel to make a cal to SAP ECC to send RFC..
3)One more File communication channel to send data to SAP File System.
    refer below blog.
    /people/jin.shin/blog/2006/02/07/multi-mapping-without-bpm--yes-it146s-possible
Regarding r file name use dynam ic configuration UDF or ASMA to chnage file name format to your desired format,if you decided to use UDF then map root nod of receiver file structure in multimapping.

  • 9505 post office not available

    GW2012 on SLES11
    single PO - PO/MTA server, Webacc/GWIA/MTA server
3 users are getting the 9505 error saying something about soap.
But since datasync is working for these users, and other users are working in WebAcc am a bit lost for a reason.
Did see a TID saying a 9505 error using secure soap was reported to engineering (9/25/12).
But have not been able to determine if they are using secure soap for the server to server talking. Don't think so, but......
Having issues remoting in to check this or other things.
any ideas on what might be the issue appreciated.

  • Error when posting to WebService on XI system using Soap

    Hi,
We have a scenario where we have a 3rd party system posting to the XI webservice.  The sender Soap adapter is configured for HTTPS without client authentication.
I am using soapui software to test the connection.  Before changes were made to the configuration for SSL, we were able to post to XI using the http url.  After the changes were made, when posting using the http url no response is received and no message is produced in XI.  Also, when we change the url to https and using the port 50001 to post the SOAP message we get the following error:
The following error occurred while parsing the HTTP request: com.sap.engine.services.httpserver.exceptions.ParseException: Incorrect request line: [CONNECT eagnmnsu39e:50001 HTTP/1.1]..
Can anyone provide some insight to the issue?
We are using a user ID with the correct security profile

  • Error with Do Not use SOAP envelope

    All,
I used the do not send SOAP envelope option in the SOAP receiver adapter.
Instead of XSLT, I used JAVA mapping to create the entire SOAP message ( Am more comfortable with Java and this is just a trial) , and this is the output of my java mapping with the SOAP envelope created,
    <i><?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2001/12/soap-envelope"soap:encodingStyle="http://www.w3.org/2001/12/soap-encoding"><soap:Header></soap:Header><soap:Body><ns1:GetQuote xmlns:ns1="http://www.webserviceX.NET/"><ns1:symbol>SAP</ns1:symbol></ns1:GetQuote></soap:Body></soap:Envelope></i>
Am using the STOCK Quote for testing purposes and this is the error I am getting when testing my interface,
<i><faultstring>System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server found request content type to be '', but expected 'text/xml'. at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapServerProtocol.ReadParameters() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.WebServiceHandler.Invoke() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.WebServiceHandler.CoreProcessRequest()</faultstring></i>
Any directions  / inputs on how to resolve this issue?
    Regards,
    Bhavesh

    Henrique,
Tried various permutations~~ The only new error / progress seems to be for this,
    SOAPAction    "http://www.webserviceX.NET/GetQuote"
This is giving me an error ,
<i>HTTP server code 400 reason Bad Request explanation <h1>Bad Request (Invalid Header Name)</h1></i>
Also, tried by adding the Colon after SOAPAction,
    SOAPAction: "http://www.webserviceX.NET/GetQuote"
    Same error
Final thing i guess is to make SOAPAction all small as soapaction and check if it works. Will let you know.

  • Split one Post OFfice in two parts

    Hi there!
I have problems with my Poa, because I'm having problems with I/O. Despite of all,
my POA is about 250 GB and I think that it's pretty big. So I have a lot of "batch users"
that are receiving a lot of emails with low priority, and I am thinking in split my post office
    in two parts:
    1) personal/phyisical users (humans): my actual post office. With SAN storage (expensive)
    and priority backups.
    2) non humans: batch users, iScsi storage , cheap and only a backup in saturday.
The question is: I saw that there is a procedure to move an user from one post office
to another, but these users have a lot of proxy accesses and rules. These options
are saved in the move? I mean, there are rules for forward emails to users in post office 1).
Does the system relocalize these users from post office 2) in post office 1) ?
I know that the best test would test with one test user... but just in case.
    Thank you all!

    </soap:Envelope>
when I create my communication channel with "Do not Use SOAP Envelope" uncheck it, all run ok, but I only get in response message "<LoginResponse>" and I need <UserToken>
When I check it "Do not use SOAP Envelope" and I use XSLT mapping to add SOAP Env to request message,  I get response message empty.
I tried the web Service with the message that I obtained from de XSLT mapping in the program SOAPUI. I get ok response with the <UserToken> value.
some idea to solve this problem??

  • Interacting with InDesign Server without SOAP

    Hi,
The documentation in IDS SDK tells that one can interact using Javascript with IDS without using SOAP.
How can one interact using Javascript and without SOAP?
I know that with Extendscript one can write scripts and execute it directly.
But with a simple jsx file only how do I interact with server?

    Hi,
On Windows you can start the InDesignServer via the console. Then start the Extendscript Toolkit and choose "InDesignServer".

  • [9505] Your Post Office is Unavailable.

Recently migrated Groupwise 2012 services from a single box to a split system with PO, Domain, and Monitor on one box and the GWIA, Webaccess & secondary domain on the second box. All seems well, except *some* users (not all, only a handful) are receiving the following message when logging into webaccess:
[9505] Your Post Office is Unavailable. The Post Office Agent might not be configured for SOAP. Please contact your system administrator.
Checking the webaccess logs reveals the following error:
    8:11:43, <SOAP>, -, INFO, [username], Login
8:11:43, <SOAP>, -, INFO, [username], Unable to connect to the POA @ http://10.1.10.35:7191/soap
10.1.10.35 is the IP of the previous POA - the new POA is 10.1.10.135
SOAP appears to be configured properly and other users are not having any problems. Why just these users?
    Thanks!

IP is correct in the webacc.cfg file - though not sure why the last line is commented out. Again, only some users are affected.
    Provider.SOAP.1.ip=10.1.10.135
    Provider.SOAP.1.port=7191
    #Provider.SOAP.1.url=/soap
Checked the TID 7012354. There was no garbage character that I could see, but the Display Name in the General Options was entirely blank. I put the user's Display Name in the field and restarted Webaccess and that user can login now. Wow. Weird.
I then tried another user that was getting the same error - turns out that user's Display Name is blank as well (I didn't make any changes), but it didn't matter - they could log in to webaccess fine - so now wondering if restarting webaccess was all that was needed in the first place? It's not making much sense. Why is this only happening to a few users? Why do some users have a blank display name under those general options? I only enabled the POP3 & IMAP online settings for those specific users and then checked via their client for the Account settings. Looks to be a tough setting to verify for 2000+ users if it can only be accessed via the user's client login.
I went back and unchecked the POP3 & IMAP Online setting for those users and restarted webaccess... everything still appears ok. so just weird.
Will have to monitor for additional user complaints - otherwise, looks now.
    Thanks!

I go through all the steps to print out a shipping label when I am on the post office's website for click 'n ship, but the website won't communicate with my printer (when I am in firefox 4). So I switched back to Firefox 3 and have no problems.
This happened before in the beta version and I had to switch back to Firefox 3, so I was happy to switch again to Firefox 4 when the completed version came out, but the problem came up again and after all the steps were done to complete the shipping label and I hit the print label button, my printer connection window never popped up so that I could click on it to command my printer to print the label. I am a registered user of click 'n ship on www.usps.com

After waiting forever to talk to some jerk at USPS Click and Ship help, he told me it's an Adobe issue. I didn't ask why it just started happening, but I too just updated to Foxfire 4 recently, it must have something to do with it.
Open your Adobe reader... under programs...mine is called Adobe Reader X
Go to "Edit" in top left...click "Properties"...
    Uncheck "display PDF in browser",
Then restart your computer for it to take effect. I am so thankful it worked!

This is a DPM supportability issue, I believe. Last I heard, no it was not supported. SharePoint 2013 does not support SQL 2014 until the April 2014 CU. The CU should be out soon, although it appears to have been delayed (usually comes out on Patch Tuesday,
    which was this past Tuesday).
