9700 Handset still not back after 7 months

Has any one sent a handset for repair to Blackberry store unit 4, 9-11 Chapin Street Lane Cove Sydney??
I sent my hand set back in October 2012 and paid for the quote to have it repaired, when it came back it still around not work. I phoned a person called Emmerson who ask me to send it back.  At first I was told the phone could not be fixed, then was told another tech said all it needed was a part which they had ordered. and would take around three weeks. I have been anxiuosly waiting for the return of my phone, and after may phone calls which now says that the number i am ringing is now disconnected and nor reply to my E-mails, I am concerned that the company has folded and my phone has been lost??
I am wondering weather my next cours of action is with Consumer Affairs . They have my $96.80 for the repiairs and my phone...        Any Suggestions.

    Yup. This is fully ridiculous that you can't cancel your updates once you start. I love the tool but this is on pretty significant issue.
    Sometimes I accidentally move a mtg or make some edit while viewing and you can't back you!!

  • B110a black in still not working after trying all recommended solutions

    Hi there
    Black ink still not working after spending many hours trying to sort. I've cleaned the printhead carefull several times (is immaculate now) and run the system clean up and alignment functions several many times too. I've cleaned the metal connecting points. I wiggled things carefully. I've attempted printing multiple pages in b/w in case it was going to take a while to get the ink flowing again. I've replaced one (expensive) new black cartridge with another brand new (expensive) cartridge and still nothing. This machine is probably out of warranty but seriously not very old. It really ought to be working okay. We use it regularly a little bit every week. Any ideas?

    The document here has troubleshooting steps that may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart b110a.  Be sure to check the vents as shown in solution six, step three.  If the above does not resolve the problem the post here may help.

    haven't tried a different computer because I really don't want itunes instaled on it.

    I believe we have fixed any possible input directory issues but the error message continues to be written.
    I expect that redeploying (rebooting server?) should end the messages but, either way:
    Do you know if there is a setting on either the BPEL development process (jDev) or the SOA server where I can limit the number of attempts?

    We are running on Unix.
    The BPELs were deployed before the respective in-/output directories had been created. I think this might have caused the initial problem.
    Once the directories were created (with full permissions -777), though, the messages continued.
    I checked the descriptors on the deployed bpels and they seem to be pointing to the correct absolute path for the input files.
    So, ASSUMING that the paths are now correct and permissions are ok:
    Is there any way of making the attempts stop (as in "kill -9 annoying_bpel_process" ;) ?, or,
    Is there a setting in the server admin side to limit the number of attempts in the future ?, or,
    Do we need to redeploy the same Bpel after we created the directories ?

    hallo, what thje hell is happening with creative Zen V+ I got it back from assistance for the second time and it's still not working!!!!!!!!!!! What do I have to do now in case you are wondering the malfunction is still the same.

    For the Zen V, as it states on the box, you need Windows XP Service Pack or 2, or Windows Vista. You also need Windows Media Player 0 or . As long as you have that, you should be fine there.
    You may also have a corrupted file that is causing the problem. Try not transferring them all at once, transfer it in blocks instead. If one block fails to transfer, try and narrow it down and see if it's a specific file in that block causing the problem.
    When you try it on another PC, do be sure that PC meets the system requirements, especially the Service Pack if it's Windows XP. You'd be shocked how many times people try it on a 2nd computer, get angry when it doesn't work, call tech support, and find out the 2nd PC doesn't even have SP on it.
    All else failing of course contact Support. They can't help you if you don't let them know what's going on, and if you don't yell at them they'll do their absolute best, trust me.

    Find a third-party repair shop with experience in fixing iPhone cameras. Apple won't help you.
    Be aware, since Apple does not sell iPhone parts, there is no legitimate source for such, & many on the market are counterfeit.

  • Time Machine not backing after Snow Leopard

    This seems one that hasn't been encountered yet.
    After installing SL, Time Machine apparently works fine and doesn't report any problems. 'Last Backup' time always fine, icon revolves etc. Problem is that even going back 1 hour goes back to the day SL was installed. Backing up to the same USB disc as previous - under 10.5.x always fine.
    Any ideas?

    Yes, just not finding anything changed. What's in the +Do not back up+ box in TM Preferences > Options, and what's the "Estimated size of full backup? just below it?

  • How do I get the notes back after an iOS update?  Not as easy as you think....

    This is a strange case.  I had a previous iPad 1 synced to my pc, 2 years ago.  That iPad is long gone.  I now have a different iPad 1 that was never synced to any pc, and actually had a couple of apps purchased from different users.  The apps aren't the problem. 
    I synced this second iPad to my pc and it seemed happy as can be.  I then updated the iOS. When it was done it had nothing other than factory apps and no data.  So I restored it.....
    But it restored the OLD iPad!  It even renamed this iPad to the old name.   It replaced my notes with the notes from that old iPad.
    I've fixed all the app problems.  But how can I get those notes back?  I've looked at the backups, but note that it never had me back it up, it only synced.

    There is quite a difference between syncing and back-up and they are different features in iTunes, although some people combine them together.
    1.  The first thing that happens when you connect your device is that a photo manager asks if you want to offload your photos.  I always do this because it is the most valuable way to back-up your photos only.
    2.  Then Itunes will come up and if you have automatic sync turned on it will begin to sync FROM your computer to your device.  It's a one-way sync and is the primary way to keep photos, music and some apps managed on your device.   New apps are synced onto your Itunes app tab. If you add or delete items in your iTunes folders then those changes are synced to your device.  I always check to make sure my new apps are now in my iTunes library and specific device tab.
    4.  There is also a back-up step where you can back your device onto your computer.  I think this is the step that should have been done when you got your new PC.  It doesn't save the apps here but does save their setting and data. I prefer to set this up to be a manual back-up process.

    5.  There is also a a "Automatically sync new apps checkbox in your itunes device apps tabs.  That should be checked "on".
    6.  If the missing apps were purchased through iTunes then I think you can download them again (make sure you use the same Apple Id).  If you then resync with itunes those apps should appear in iTunes for you.
