990FXA-GD80 wont boot pls help

i got meself a 990FXA-GD80 mainbord with FX1850 3.6 CPU put it all in got it to turn on but had to order a new sata cd drive wile i wait for it to come PC world is sallin a IDE to Sata converter so i grabed on so i could get windows loaded on pluged it all in turned me computer on an nothin well i say nothin all the bord powers up all me little blue light come on fans all go round but it wont start to boot an the debug leds just show up ff really quick then changes to 19 an nothin eles happens thanks Paul

MSI 990FXA - GD80 Wont Boot.

Hi,
My GD80 board wont boot past code 99, it was fine yesterday but now wont do anything.
It comes up with a list of the HDD devices, and any optical drives, the unganged status of the ram, and says press F1 to setup or F2 to continue. I have tried different keyboards(several), different mice/no mouse connected, also 1 single stick of ram instead of the 4x4gig corsair. In fact, all of the usual stuff for trouble shooting. this is a premium board, I find it hard to believe this cannot be fixed somehow.

The problem is the same as the screenie above. I know that the board in the picture is a GD65, however other than the board version, everything else is the same. I pressed F1, just hangs with prompt entering Setup...... if i press F2 it just sits there doing nothing.

- What do you mean it does not work? Could it be that the app ere not compatible with your model iPod and its iOS?
- Try going to Settings>Store and sign out and sign back in.

the Red area is a very bad set of codes as they are mainly Memory and CPU issues
your some times codes are all DXE IPL is started
ok from that track of codes it looks to me like either a memory problem (MOST LIKELY) or CPU not Supported problem!

990FXA-GD80 wont start

Hi everybody, maybe someone could help here ?
Because my "old" msi 770-C45 died, i bought a 990FXA-GD80, but it does not want to start. i can start the computer, but nothing hapen, no display, no boot on hard drive or DVD. I've tried to change cpu, ram, graphic card, no result. could the motherboard be dead already ? The cpu phase leds are off, 1 ram led is on, and 1 NB phase led is on. Please help.

My macbook wont boot up :-( HELP!!!!

HELP!!! My macbook wont boot up.
I was deleting some files off my system last night, Id put them in the trash and deleted them (there was quite alot!!) and the screen gradually went black and told me i needed to restart my computer by holding down the power key.
I tried doingt this but it wouldn't restart.
I left it a while and tried powering up, it seems to turn over once but the chimes dont kick in and nothing happens, the little light (is it the sleep light?) does come on but nothing else.
I really really hope someone can help!

Since you are still using Panther, try booting from your System Install DVD. Try running the +repair disk+ & repair permission options.

Can we get into the recovey mode ?Have you got a installation media or a recovery disk ?
Resettting the machine is the last option and we will lose all the data.We can try to boot from the installation media or a recovery disk.Then we can choose the recovery mode to have a repair.

IMac G5 froze and now it wont boot? Help!

I have iMac G5, its 3 years old. I was playing a game and all of sudden it froze.
-First tried to resarted the computer, it wont boot up and there was no sound.
-Secondly, I manage to reboot, but it gave me the gray with Apple Logo and did not reach to the login screen.
-Thirdly, it booted up, though it was very sluggish and slow.
I manage to use Disk Utility, it seem to be fine. I shut down the computer it just froze.
I restarted the machine nothing, just a black screen. Only once I turn on with sound, still black screen and the FAN started to rev-up. I took out Ram from the machine and to see if I can restart it. I get power, No sound, and no gray screen. I have no clue what happen and how to fix it.
Any tips will be appreciated.

Well, you could try booting from your install disc, and either running Apple Hardware Test, or using Disk Utility to try and repair the drive, but I still think it's the logic board:
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk.
Then if possible, reboot and run Permissions Repair from your hard drive.
Let me know if you manage to revive it.

Music wont download - pls help urgently

i have tried 5 times to download an album from itunes and every time i have to re-renter my billing details and double check everything is correct but to no avail. after doing this, there's no downloaded music and i don't know if apple will charge me 5 times as well for trying (hopefully not!!). pls help me. thanks

exists"
But making a new playlist didnt work
Then you didn't name it exactly the same as the ones that were deleted. It WILL work. Been there, done that.

Msi 990FXA GD80 first boot screen freezes code 99

My problem is like the one in this thread https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=156470.0 .. i push power button ,all those codes start,one beep on the speaker,and get stuck on the 99 code
The difference is that on the screean apears: the bios version (11.7) ,the processor name(amd fx 8150) the ddr3 memory loads, hard disks( i have 2 hard disk) even recognize a usb stick is one is inserted all that stuff apear,and press f1 to load setup f2 to continue,eror 99 on the right bottom corner of the screen.. and if i press to enter bios a display message apear "preparing to enter setup..." and freezes like this.
If i reset the sistem i get black screen. I clear cmos ..and same story over again
I did try to change the processor,i have a amd phenom2 1055t,i changed the memory module,kinston,corsair,i upluged hard drives...same think,no diference
I did try to recover bios from usb (ctrl+home AMIBOOT.ROM) nothing works, i spend 2 days reading stuff on forum, i-am out of solutions

First you state nothing happens, then you state the keyboard does work.

Corsair makes loads of memory modules, no clue what you have as you lack specs, but it can be the reason.
High Power, many PSU's are called that way, but again it can be the reason.
We can't help you without proper info and comments to what you do.

Pc wont boot. please help.

Everything was ok, then I did a restart and now it wont boot.
No Beeps, nothing on the monitor.
monitor displays no signal check connections.
The D-bracket hangs on memory detection test and base memory test.
I have tried swapping memory sticks, ive tested the memory in another pc.
Ive tested the PCI-e card in another pc and I have also tested the cpu.
Everything works in a different pc but not mine.
I have also removed the battery and cleared bios.
Any ideas or suggestions to fix this problem would be great.

I purchased a itouch 2g and i went to restore it and it wont boot plz help

i bought a itouch 2g model#A1288 and when i did a system restore on it because it had a bunch of junk on it it wont completely boot the apple logo turns to a skull and freezes please help i payed $200 for it off of some random guy so i cant get a refund

If you on OS X Mountain Lion, like if you purchased a recent Mac, you may need to head to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Security > General and set the downloads to "Anywhere". to install software from the web.
Also you need to check the compatabiity of the program your downloading with the operating system version your running. There seems to be a hardware requirement/license also.

Ipod shuffle wont play pls HELP!

Hey people
If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated. Right. I have windows 98 and my ipod shuffle has been working fine with it, i have been using winamp to transfer songs onto it.
BUT recently, i have transferred songs to my ipod as normal, they look like they have transferred as normal, but when i safely eject the ipod and try to listen to the songs, theyre not on there. just blank spaces where they shud be.
so i just formatted the whole thing to see if that wud work. i went to realplayer this time to transfer songs. again, it seemed as if they transferred as normal. but when i tried to listen to them, the error light came on indicating no songs are on it. BUT when i put it bak into the computer, realplayer indicated the files are on there! the exact songs i tried to transfer!
whyyyyyyy oh whyyyyyyyy wont they play! sumbody purlease help me, i cant hack the boring commute to work without music!!

Just reformatting the Shuffle with windows will destroy the firmware that runs the shuffle. IF you can't download ipod updater for Windows 98 than you will first half to "restore" the shuffle on a machine that can run Ipod updater. Than you can try and go back to third party windows 98 apps.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)
