9i Lite files

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about a .plg file I see in the same directory as my .odb file. I assume it's a page file of some type, possibly being used as temp space but I was wondering if anyone had more exact info regarding it. What it's used for, etc.
Thanks,
Phil

By default, a commit backs up modified database pages to filename.plg before actually writing the changes to filename.ODB. If an application or the operating system experiences a failure during a commit, the transaction is cleanly rolled back during the next connect. If -pagelog is specified, no backup is created and the database can become corrupted if a failure occurs.

  • Handling AVCHD Lite files in PE7

After much research and trial and error, I thought I would share what I have found about this topic. There does seem to be a couple of ways to handle these clips without PE7 falling over every time, though teh first is very tedious. If anyone can find a better way, please let me know?
First convert the clips to HDV
    1. Transfer all clips to the PC. You can use PE7 to do this or the Panasonic supplied s/w. It seems that only the .MTS file is necessary
    2. Start a new project using the HDV 720p setting
    3. Import one AVCHD lite clip by copying from Windows folder into project widow.
    4. Move to timeline and wait until the video images appear fully with the red line over the top.
    5. Render (Slow process: >5 hours for a 1:30 clip on a 2.67 GHz Quad Processor)
    6. Export (Share) as a new PC file into a different folder as an MPEG file using HDV 720p 25 file preset.
    7. Back to 3. For the next clip
Note: You can do more than 1 clip at a time but the more & bigger clips the more likely PE7 is to stop working.
    Edit Project
When you have all the clips converted, start a new project using the HDV 720p settings, import your converted clips and edit away!
Notes This is a tedious and time consuming process even on a new PC with a Quad processor but it does eventually work.
Note to Self: Next time, it may be better to use Motion JPEG to record video on TZ7. Set at HD, you get the same resolution as AVCHD lite i.e. 1280x720 at a frame rate of 30fps. This might also give a better result when panning.
PS: You can also use the Panasonic PhotofunStudio HD edition to import the file and use their editor to delete unwanted portion of the clips. This might save time but the numbering system on the Panasonic clips is unusual.
    Much Faster Method
You can use VoltaicHD from Shedworx to do the conversion to a WMA/Vor an AVI file. This seems to work quickly and simply but will cost you $35. Cheap if you have a lot to do!

An even better solution is to use the free AVCHD Converter to convert the AVCHD Lite clips to 1280x720 MPEG2. It can batch convert a bunch of AVCHD Lite clips and is free...
    http://www.koyotesoft.com/
Import the clips, up the bit rate to 25000kbps and convert. Use these in the HDV 720 project preset in Premiere Elements.

  • Flash Lite File Format

    Hi !
I'm seeking an answer for my project.
How to convert swf format to sis format?
    q(*-*)p thanks

    Hi there,
What a suprise to hear that Flash Lite player 2 does not
recognize all audio formats supported by phone! It's for S60 too?As
I got sound problem on S40 with Player 2. Are there got any
    solutions for this problem?
We download a flash sample from
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/devices/articles/mp3_sample_fl2.html,
and installed all the files into S40 phone with Flash Lite player
    2. The sample cannot work. Is the sample works on other phone?
This is quite confused me. As the articles mentioned "Loading
external MP3 files into the Flash Lite player" but it doesn't work
when I installed into the phone. Don't means to criticize any
parties, but just to find out the anwser.
We are getting out of time to finish a flash lite 2 project.
Any further informations and solutions for sound in Flash Lite
Player 2 would really be appreciated. Thank you

  • I need to restore my iTunes lit file after a hard drive wipe

My laptop was stolen and wiped, but I ended up getting it back. I'm a DJ and manage my music through iTunes and stupidly had not backed up for several months. I've recovered all my files, and am trying to recover my latests itl file so I get my most current version of my playlists back. Problme is, when the frive was wiped, all the itl files lost their names and date created info, and I seem to have over 35 of them. I figured the largest file would be to most recent, but that is not the case. Any ideas on how I can find the most recent itl file out of this group? they range in size from a 65 kb to 45 mb,
    Thanks

Well, other is all your personal data. So you'll need to go through that and delete a lot. Also, if you're using a laptop local snapshots may be taking up space in backups.
If you run TM you don't really need local snapshots so if you need the disk space you can disable them in Terminal with this command...
    sudo tmutil disablelocal
To undo this, rerun it with "enablelocal" instead of "disablelocal".
Most folks using a small flash drive will keep only the system on that drive and use another larger drive for everything else. It sounds like you need another disk.. but what type Mac are you on?

  • Problem of Sync on Lite 10g

Hi ppl, i have a problem with sincronization of Oracle Lite 10g (10.2)
The problem exists when i use .NET to sincronize local Lite with the OAS
    in the syncerr.txt i obtain this :
    2007/2/21 8:42:31 ..\..\ocapi\OkapiWriter.cpp Line:940 rc:-3264
And in the .NET system i obtain : ERROR : DoSync failed : "Access violation -5150:0 "
If i do the sync with msync i obtain : POL-3264 Timeout
I take a look at documentation and this error is like a row of a table is with an open transaction and its bloking the new sincronization.
This can't be true because we restart the mobile server, and the database too, disconnecting all the connections with the repository.
We suppose its a problem of bad data in Lite files, ¿maybe they are corrupt?
    ¿Or someone have better ideas?
    Thanks at advance.Joan

  • Is there anyway to convert a .lit to a .pdf to read on the ibook?

I downloaded a couple of eBooks but they all came in a .lit file and I was wondering if there is anyway to convert it so I can read it in my iBook?

  • How to Use Flash Lite 2.1 on Nokia N70-1

I have downloade Flash Lite 2.1(S60-v2) from the Adobe web site to my new Nokia N70-1. But I can't see any use for it since it doesn't integrate with the default browser or the pre-installed Opera browser as the Flash Player on the PC does with Internet Explorer or Firefox. Can anyone please help me to sort this out. Thank you in advance for your support.

If you downloaded it from Adobe's developer site, then it is a developer version, and it'll work with "standalone" Flash Lite files stored locally on the phone (there's no browser support, no browser plugins included).

  • Opening a Cinema 4D file from AE

When you are in After Effects, you can create a NEW cinema 4D file but you can't open an earlier created CD4 Lite file into that newly created AE document.
    Is that right?
    Thanks
    Simon

You can add a previously created C4d file to an AE project, you just cannot open C4D lite without opening it from inside AE.
Have you gone through the C4D tutorials on Adobe TV or on Maxon's site???

  • Fixing a few AVCHD Lite clips imported under iMovie '08

Before upgrading from iMovie '08 to iMovie '09, I imported 6 AVCHD Lite clips from my Panasonic DMC-TS1. Whoops! As others have noted, the video moves at double speed, while the audio is normal. So I bought iMovie '09.
Subsequent imports into iMovie '09 from AVCHD Lite have worked well. My son is pretty cute in these clips, and I'd hate to lose them to a technical mistake.
I no longer have the original MTS (AVCHD Lite) files. The clips are in .MOV and stored on my hard disk. When I try to edit cache.mov, if I change the 2997 to anything else, it just gets changed back when I launch iMovie.
Any suggestions for slowing the video of these .MOV files without slowing the audio?

    Hello,
I am not sure if this is the right thread, but I am hoping someone can help me out or point me in the right direction. Karsten, perhaps your reply on 31 July is a solution?
About a year ago I purchased a new MacBook. Two months ago I received a Panasonic TS1 as a gift. Naturally, I had problems with the AVCHD video (at least twice the normal speed) when imported into iMovie. Because I did not have iMovie 8.0 in the suite of applications that came with the computer, I recently purchased iLife 09. I have since updated to iMovie 8.0.4. My problem is that the video is still too fast. I don't know what to do or how to fix it - I would have thought that when I updated the software it would have fixed the video clips to play at the correct speed. My bigger problem is that I deleted the video off of my camera when I initially imported because at that time I didn't realize there was a problem between the video and iMovie 7.0.?. Therefore the only footage is that which is in iMovie. Any suggestions? Perhaps if 8.0.4 does not automatically fix the speed, I can somehow pull the video out of iMovie and import it back in? I would really like to fix this as this is the only video footage I have of my 5 year-old singing at a school play. I am with the Army and away from him so I would like to make a movie so he can see it.
    Appreciate any thoughts or advice.
    Thank you.

  • Does CS5 read AVCHD lite properly

Does anyone know if CS5 will read AVCHD lite files properly please?
I've read the thread relating to the same question on CS4 but perhaps some of the compatibility issues have been addressed on this release.   I note from the other thread that the trial version won't operate with 3rd party licenses formats anyway, so not mileage trying it out like that.

  • PE 9 and AVCHD Lite?

Hi - does anyone know if Premiere Elements 9 supports AVCHD Lite files from a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 camera?
I have found some discussions about this format and earlier versions of PE - but nothing on PE 9.
Officially, it doesn't, as far as I can tell - but can that really be true?

Version 9 does have project presets for AVCHD Lite 1280x720.
You can see how to set up the program for this or any video format in part 1 of my Basic Training for Premiere Elements tutorial series at Premiere Elements support site Muvipix.com.
