9iLite is missing lsnrctl.exe

Where do I find lsnrctl.exe in 9iLite on Win2k?
The story:
I've been trying to install 9iLite on Win2k for a couple days
now and have had nothing but problems.
I did the regular install of Mobile Server and noticed that the
Repository Wizard didn't start (as in the documentation), so I
edited repwizard.bat, changing the "bin/java" part to just java
(removing the quotes) and ran the .bat. Once I was in the Rep.
wizard, I tried the system/manager pw combo, but continually got
TNS: No Listener messages. A portscan showed that, of course,
there was no listener (I was set up to use TCP).
The docs didn't talk about how to start the listener on 2000,
but a quick read of the forums showed I need lsnrctl.exe. I
checked netca.bat (which is supposed to start the listener
during the install) and a manual run showed that it was trying
to use lsnrctl, but couldn't find it. A full search of the hd
turned up nothing.
So, where can I find lsnrctl.exe?

As far I am aware lsnrctl.exe is not shipped with the 9i Lite
distribution. In addition I was under the impression that the
WIN32 Lite install uses ODBC and not the usual TNS.
However if you wanted to get a copy of lsnrctl.exe you could
pick one up in any Standard or Enterprise version
$ORACLE_HOME/bin. It won't do much for you on it's own however
as it requires supporting libraries, etc.

Okay, so, fast forward from July to now -
- I've visited my closest Apple store's genius bar twice now. (Over an hour and a half away.)
- My computer spent at least 8 hours behind their closed doors in the workshop
- Several complete erases of the harddrive have taken place
- Most of the Apple geniuses I dealt with were nice and very knowledgeable, but they were and still aren't 100% sure exactly what is wrong with my computer.
The good news is:
- They were able to at least get it running again, with a clean install from their servers of OS X Lion 10.7.5
- They believe that my problems stem from either 1 of 2 things:
- Faulty Hard Drive (even though it is brand new)
- The wrong build of software being installed.
Now, while the wrong build does seem like it could be the problem, it doesn't make sense in the aspect that all of the initial problems began when the first hard drive failed. The same problems continued when I changed out the failed hard drive with the brand spanking new one, and only slightly improved when I was able to successfully install the OS that came with the original disks for my computer. I'm not convinced this thing is back to normal, but hopefully I can make it last through getting a shiny new retina Macbook Pro in the coming future. Lsnrctl.exe with InstantClient 10g

Hi,
I would like to stop a listener from a remote computer. My listener is 10g.
I only have a InstantClient installed on my computer, and I copied the lsnrctl.exe from the db server but I got an error that the oracore10.dll is not found.
Is it possible to use lsnrctl.exe only with the InstantClient?

Is it possible to use lsnrctl.exe only with the InstantClient?You should never mix Oracle Homes/installations like that (even if it may appear to "work" at first). Use only the supported installer and documented install procedures.
The lsnrctl executable depends on Database server. You could do a software-only installation (doesn't create a database instance) to get the listener utility.
I would like to stop a listener from a remote computer. My listener is 10g.Perhaps you could find another way, e.g. remote execution, use putty, etc.
How often do you really need to stop the listener?

Missing lsnrctl in 10g in Linux

I've just installed 10g and just realized I've got a serious problem. lsnrctl is missing. I'm wondering how to get it installed. The installation program tells me I've got it all installed. I can create databases in dbca. I Can start isqlplusctl, however not get the web interface to work.
Anybody knows how to solve this problem?

Missing setup.exe for production and web premium

I donwloaded all of the files for Production Premium and Web Premium, but I am missing the file setup.exe for both. Is there a quick way to get this without redownloading everything?

I am having a similar problem. I just purchesed Dreamweaver CS4 on DVD, and it is missing the setup.exe file. I read the read me file and looked in the folder where is says it should be, and it's not there. I also did a search for "setup.exe" on the entire disk and no results came up.
Any suggestions?

Missing SndVol32.exe file

Hi,
I cant activate the sound control icon and even the sound volume.
When I am trying to do so I got the message that
SndVol32.exe is missing.
I am using Audigy Player sound card.
AC97 onboard sound-disabled.
I heard somewhere that it is possible VIA issue.

Flash builder 4.6 missing strip.exe for mobile compile

I already manually moved the files from the AIR sdk into my flash builder sdk. But I am getting an error:
Error occurred while packaging the application:
SDK is missing file C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\sdks\4.6.0\lib\aot/bin/strip/strip.exe
I checked the AIR SDK and the current download doesn't have a strip.exe...
Any ideas. Thanks,

Thanks- I fixed the problem by updating to the latest apache flex sdk. Had to tweak a couple things but got it working. Just waned to say thank-you for your willingness to help.

How I fixed the missing Flash.exe in Extension manager 5

I was surprised to see that Flash 5 was absent from the list of programs in Extension Manager 5
First I ran
Adobe Utilities-CS5/ExtenScript Toolkit CS5
BridgeTalk.__diagnostics__;
In the relevant section in

I noticed that the path to Flash.exe was at the same level as other creative suite programs.
The regstry also reflected this
my istallation put it at one extra level i.e. in
D:\programs\Adobe\Creative5\Adobe Device Central CS5\Adobe Flash CS5\Flash.exe
I corrected the registry entry, but this didn't help.
Then I added the folder Adobe Flash CS5 in Creative 5.
Into this file I put a shortcut to Flash.ext but this wasn't suffient. Finally I realized that the file XManConfig.xml, which is in the folder Configuration,
was required so, instead of just adding this File I coppied the Configuration folder to the Adobe GFlash C5.
The the Flash program is now present in Extension Manager, and I am now able to add extensions.
Why the installation put the Flash.ex in a dfferent folder from the other programs in the suite I don't know, buT i didn't want to mess with the folder structure.

I don't know why your flash was installed in "Adobe Device Central CS5". It is supposed to be installed in the same level as "Adobe Device Central CS5", in your case, "D:\programs\Adobe\Creative5". Was Flash installed by another person? Or the target directory was set to this wrong folder? Anyway, you can think "Adobe Device Central CS5" as another component or product in CS5 family, just like "Adobe Flash CS5".

Missing iTunes.exe

Recently i had rebooted my computer, and i could only use iTunes 7.4.3 for a long time. However, recently i tried to upgrade and when i did, my shortcuts had no targets and you couldn't change the target either. I looked into it and i realized that in any type of iTunes installation, the shortcuts would not work, and in the iTunes folder, the iTunes.exe is either not there or i believe it's corrupt. Whenever i try to open iTunes, the shortcut flashes, disappears, then nothing happens. When i check my processes, iTunes.exe is running but iTunes does not open. I've looked on all of the Apple support articles and have tried all of them, but i've had no luck. I've tried everything from iTunes 3 to 6 and all of the iTunes 7 upgrades. I need some original help. Anyone have any clue where i should start?

Thinking that since one of the security dlls on the PC was (is still?) disabled, and you're getting a reasonably uncommon error message number on the QuickTime install, we'd better try getting the malware possibilities off the table.
Download fresh definitions and run vigorous virus and spyware scans. Back that up with one of the reputable online virus scans (they can sometimes pick up an infection on a PC even if the security sftware on the PC has been disabled).

Missing saplicense.exe. NSP does not run anymore. No install CD. Any help?

Hi, I'm very new in this SAP world. I downloaded the NSP to play with it a little bit but I didn't realize when my license expired. Now I cannot login in the system and the only available instructions I've found specifies to use a saplicene.exe program that does not exist in any directory. I don't have the install CD. Any help?

I found out how to do it:
1.-I used SAP* / minisap to log in
2.-Click on install button (this shows the HWID key!!!)
3.-Go to http://www.sap.com/minisap
4.-Fill all information (leave the "System number" field blank)
5.-Check on "I agree" (for the agreement)
6.-Click on submit

MSVCP100.DLL MISSING - INDESIGN.EXE SAYS I NEED 8.1 VERSION OF INDESIGN

I have been a creative cloud member for a while.
For the longest time I have been saying NO to upgrade of windows version 8.1 when asked. Well last night my system automatically upgraded to 8.1, which surprised me and now all of the cc 2014 programs give me the MSVCP110.dll is missing message.
I have tried to restore back to version 8.0 but the system will not do that. Earlier versions of the applications like CS6 will open but not Creative Cloud 2014. I was able to get another pop up box to open and let me know that I need the 8.1 version of InDesign which is required by all the plug-ins. Is there a download for all of cc2014 application in the 8.1 format?
How can I get all the cc 2014 to open in 8.1?
I tried to install the Adobe Application manager and it encountered issues (Error code: A12E1)
I would like to avoid refreshing and rebuilding my system if at all possible. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Can't open the Firefox after install on window. Error indicated I missing the EXE file

Firefox required me to update the flash player, Norton indicated the flash player I just download may contains virus so I removed it right a way. After the virus scanned, I reboot the computer and I am not able to open the Firefox and other applications on the desktop. I got a message indicated the exe file was corrupted or removed. I really don't want to buy other program to fix this problem.

Missing DIFxINST64.exe when trying to upgrade to iTunes 11.1.6

When I start iTunes on my pc, I get prompted to upgrade to the latest version, which currently is 11.1.3. It goes through downloading fine but when it goes to install, I get an error that says: Windows cannot find 'C:\ProgramData\34BE82C4 .. blah blah \x64\DIFxINST64.exe'. When I follow that path, this exe file is not in the x64 folder. I searched my pc looking to see if it maybe was in another folder but it could not find this file. Any ideas what this does and where I could find a place to download it?

Hello everyone. I'm told that I can run a repair of Office 2013 via the following command line pointing to a repair config xml we made and placed on a server. Only problem is that my machines don't have a setup.exe in that path. Did the
path where setup.exe is located change or something?

Is your Office a Click-To-Run version or a MSI (traditional) version? If it’s a MSI version, setup.exe should be there. If it’s a Click-To-Run version, then you should not find any file called setup.exe there in that path.
For Click-To-Run version of Office, you should run the Office Deployment Tool and provide a custom Configuration.xml configuration file. The Office Deployment Tool performs the tasks that are specified by using the optional properties in

PD 1600,Missing Setup.exe

I recently reformatted my HP Pocket Media Drive without saving the PMD Folder. So now have lost my Setup.exe file.
My drive is useless now as I can't access it in any way.
Please help, is there any way to get this file as HP has told me I am S.O.L.

No Setup is required to make the PMD work, thie setup is either for the Backup program or a little applet to help crete folders for Media Center.The PMD can work out of the box with Windows USB drivers only.
When the PMD is connected, are you getting anything any indication in the task bar in the Safely Remove icon? You might need to go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management to see how your computer is dealing with the PMD. Sometimes there might be a second disk trying to get the same Drive letter.
