A 1.3.1 export HMMMM...

Sometimes, I will export several images at once, hitting Cntrl/Shift/E, and selecting a preset. No problem here. But on the next batch, from a different folder, I hit Cntrl/Alt/Shift/E, to export with the same presets. This time it will only export one file (the last one I worked on), not all of the highlighted ones. I am using XP SP2.

Try to get your hands on the Installation guide for Designer 2.1.2, there is a section there for upgrading from 1.3.2. I am not 100% sure but the architecture for 2.1.2 and 6.0 is almost the same, in fact, I was able to migrate from 2.1.2 straight to 6i without a hitch. There shouldn't be any more problems.

I'm currently exporting successfully to PDF from crystal reports 10 to PDF using options:
Report.ExportOptions.FormatType = crEFTPortableDocFormat
Report.Export(False)
All is well but I would like the PDF I export to be mono colour (ie black and white) not greyscale.
Is there an option I am missing? or is this a question I should raise on a VB forum...

This problem cleared up when I re-saved my main report after editing the embedded sub-reports. Was related to extra headers and footers being added to sub-reports, along with "can grow" format option set to "No".

Images once exported (RAW) do not show up in catalog or previous imorts not film strips in library nor develop. They are in the files to which they were exported

Not sure how to get this going seems rather redundant.
In the last 4 - 5 days I have imported several hundred RAW files, done some minimal post processing and exported these images to various files (I have verified that the images are in the files to which I exported them). These images to no show up in previous imports nor do they show up in library nor develop film strips. How or can I get them to show up for additional review and possible manipulation. I recently did this same operation with largle JPEG files and all went well.
I did initially have some problems with LR recognizing the RAW files but some how was able to overcome that ( perhaps a card issue they are old card and the JPEGs were on a new card hmmmm!!??)
Any ways I supposed I can reimport them from their current files but that is a redundant pain. Suggestions would be apprediated

One possibility is that you accidentally opened a new/different catalog.
Look at File->Open Recent and open the catalogs shown there and see if your photos appear

Exported avi's flicker between 4:3 and 16:9 when played back in media player etc.

Using premiere pro 1.5 on a windows XP..... never had issues until recently.. always shoot with xl-2 in 24p... when the AVI is exported (microsoft dv avi ntsc, or sometimes 24p advanced) and I watch it in windows media player the video flickers back and forth between widescreen and standard... seems random....sometimes the exported videos will play ok... any ideas what's up? thanks!

dv avi ntsc is 720x480 and it sounds like you have mixed assets in your project...when that flickering happens. 720x480, whether it is 4:3 or 16:9 does not have square pixels..so if some of your assets are based on square pixels you'll get some weird stuff going on ( if your program monitor is set to "fit" it will look OK on timeline maybe, but on export wont ? )...maybe try program monitor at 100% instead and see what stuff looks like before you export...fix the mixed media stuff ? You using still images ? is that what flickers diff size ?
...need more info re: assets in project, export settings
ps. you might try ms avi ( not ms dv avi ) and adjust settings as per your project and try that export instead ( choose same renderer you use in project or lagarith or some lossless codec )

I cannot derive a file name that will let me export my Keynote file as a PDF. I understand the 31 character limit, but what other secret niceties must I observe?

Hmmmm . . . . I used to be good at this, back in the day . . . OK: I take a KN file and attempt to export as pdf for later upload to SlideShare servers, which can't take straight KN submissions anymore. I keep my file names under 31 characters, as prompted. But . . . I keep getting a NoNo that reads along these lines:
"Cannot export "table of contents" as 'table of contents'".
I've tried various fiddly things with file names but without success. I feel like the mosquito looking for the tiny tear in the screen she just knows is there somewhere! (I was three semesters into an entymology major before I got the word that my fascination with word derivations was doomed to be frustrated.)
Am I Maverick bitten or just way too old to be messing around with stuff like this?

According to your description, you might want to retrieve the string “2014_05” from the file name.
I would suggest you create a SharePoint Designer workflow and implement your logic of handling the filename.
In SharePoint Designer 2010, there are already some useful utility workflow actions which can enable users to deal with the various requirements come from the business scenarios.

QT can't export 10 bit images?

I have 10 bit uncompressed quicktime movies, from which I need to export 10 bit image sequences. When I export using either QT 7.0.2 or FCP5, I get 8 bit images. What's going on?

Hmmmm.....Well, I'm certainly seeing the problem. But it must be more complex, and also perhaps involve CPU architectures: I imported HD DVCPRO 720p @23.98fps media from a P2 Store on a MacBook Pro using 5.1.1. Those imported Quicktime media files can not be viewed on a G4 w/ 5.0.4 but can be viewed on a G5 w/ 5.1.2. On the G4 the movie files opened at the right rez but with a blank white image (typical when the codec is missing/bad), although the audio played fine. Neither the G4 nor the G5 have an added video card.
This is confusing because it would be simple if it was just Intel vs PowerPC, but it's not, as the G5 works but the G4 doesn't. I never had a chance to see if it will work on the G5 using 5.0.4.
Obviously there's more to this than we'd thought.

Create Hyperlinks In Exported HTML Slideshow?

I've created a presentation with Keynote 3 and would like words and objects to link to external web sites.
The links work when the presentation is viewed using Keynote. But when I export to HTML the links don't work.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is this feature not available?

I suppose you COULD use iWeb and build it manually. One slide per page with forward and next buttons and use objects with no fill and no stroke (with a 1% shadow) to be hyperlinks. I think that might work nicely!

Export Button in share window

Hello,
I have a 3 min. video in FCP 7. Trying to use the share feature to export directly to DVD. Timeline has in/out set, is active, DVD in burner, destination folder set, create DVD is checked. Hmmmm... export button does not react just has a continuous glow. I have not found another topic like this so, I must be the only idiot who can't figure it out. Thanks for viewing!

I find out one of the reasons that this could be happening. On clicking the export or the print option that URL is automatically redirected to my http://localhost/.../CrystalReportViewerHandler but this folder does not exists in the folder where I have deployed my application.
The details for accessing this folder is stored in the <my application folder>/WEB-INF/web.xml
The contents of the file is listed below:

    <servlet-name>CrystalReportViewerServlet</servlet-name>
    
    <url-pattern>/crystalreportviewers</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
Please let me know how can I resolve this issue.

I get error when trying to export video

Every time I try to send a video to youtube, faceboiok, CNN or anywhere I get this:
(com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1)
The export Movie to to computer button doesnt do anything at all! Whats happening!

Hmmmm it seems to be just that file. The rest of my files are fine. I tweaked some settings and tried other files and it worked, so maybe it was just me, I am very new to Final Cut after all. Turns out I'm OK now! Thanks anyway!

Trying to export an apple compatible h264 from windows PPCS4 media encoder

So far the only setting that seems to work is "Apple TV" but I can only export up to 720p with that. Do I simply bump up the resolution of the Apple TV setting?
None of the 1080 settings under h264 seem to be recognized by apple when coming from my Vista machine.

Hmmmm.. Won't apple recognize Quicktime ? Try using Quicktime and H264...will make a MOV file....set resolution etc as needed...( will be a custom setting probably...)
Using quicktime pro I can import a mov file and then export to various formats, including apple TV...if that's what you're wanting...
Sorry.. but I use windows and CS3 ...so I can't test what you want to do...maybe someone else here can be more helpful...

Audio delay when exporting

iMovie version: HD 6.0.4
Movie consists of approx 20 clips, (animation content (.mov files) and video content), with extracted audio and recorded audio direct into iMovie. It plays perfect in iMovie and will work fine when imported to iDVD and imaged. The problem starts when I try to export it as a smaller file for web streaming etc. What happens is some audio content is delayed and subsequently starts at the wrong time. The first couple of minutes are OK then it all goes wrong. I have tried; creating a new file, extracing ALL the audio and placing in one track (strangely when I move all the audio to one track and check off the empty track whatever audio was in that empty track still turns off!), exporting as .wmv and mpg, tried expert mode - tried everything and STIL the same audio content delays at the exact same moment. This work was created with children as a school project and need to upload to a website for them. I have also tried importing to iMovie 08 but I lose all the imported animation content - it will only import the video even though the animation content was a .mov file. Hmmmm. Any ideas from anyone??

Export Errors for Mac Harddrive

I am suddenly getting a "The export operation failed to create # of files...." This is happening when I try to export to the Mac HD (Retina 13MBP)
If I export to desktop, I am ok. I have run disc utils verified disc and fixed permissions on the drive...as welll as the permissions on the Ap library, and a rebuild.
I can also export to a connected thunderbolt. It seems to only be the HD and it happens with differet export settings.
Any thoughts on what else I can try?

Frank...I am not sure what you mean? I have been creating files inside my harddrive for 20 years? Not sure what you mean by Under? For 3 years when exporting from Apeture on the RMBP(and the MP 12" and the Imac....etc.) I have chosen harddrive from dropdown and either left the file in the first level of the directory or I have chosen a folder inside, say "website" and droped it there. If I need to grab it right away I will sometimes just drop it on the desktop. As of last night, I can no longer export images to folders that I have created, inside the harddrive. I can drop them into folders I have created inside the desktop folder. And yes, inside the pictures folder.
Yes, I am set to read and write to the harddrive.
Interesting...I am now being asked to authenticate anything I try to drag into the macintoshHD...this is new...hmmmm

Adobe Bridge CS6 for mac: export modules, facebook export module gives an error every time i try to sign in

in the export module for facebook every time i click "sign in to facebook" it gives the following error: "An error occurred while request facebook connection"

The export module has been discontinued in Bridge CC and as long as it has been there the option for social media has worked only for FB in a few countries. Due to rights management (as we where told) there where restrictions for most other countries. But if it did work for you in the past you should try click on FB in export module or use the tiny menu icon in the export panel for preferences and try to set up a new connection.

Obrigado pela pronta resposta.
Debugamos a BADI e descobrimos que os dados de importação estão sendo gravado "em branco", gerando o erro de validação no GRC, tal qual dito por você.
Aprimoramos a lógica da BADI para que a tag de importação não seja preenchida indevidamente para as notas de devolução do porto e as notas foram aprovadas.

LR 4 exports to wrong folder, anybody else?

HI, my rig includes Windows 7, Asus P8Z68 Deluxe Gen 3 with i7 2600K, 16GB DDR3 mem, SSD drives, fast Radeon video card.
I'm using Lightroom 4, just upgraded, have this problem: when I export to Folder1> Subfolder 1, it puts the export images in the next up hierarchical folder, i.e. Folder1. I select the folder I want in the Export dialog, and I don't have any subfolders selected or created, but it always sticks the shots in the next folder up the tree, it's happened every time I've exported.
any clues?

The subfolder is the folder I selected in the dialogue. c.frans w is right. In 2.7 I never had to check and create a subfolder, which is what that box is for, unless I wanted to. Usually I just select the folder I want, but in 4, when I do that, it jumps to the next higher folder.
