A Bar stays popped up that says Encountered error while syncing : unknown error. Sync will automaticly try this action when I push sunc now Button it goes away but then pops back up again and is not syncing what can I do ?
when I log into Firefox this message pops up at the bottom of all page I click on the Button that says " sync now" it disappears for a few seconds then pops back up and tells me to sync now Why is it not syncing?
I am syncing my iphone to my iTunes account and then I do a backup and also making sure all updates are current. Then by going to the my phone and then going to the right and selecting the restore my iphone.

Cannot get sound effects icon to stop coming on. When I turn down the volume, the icon goes off briefly and then it comes back on at full volume and stays in the middle of the screen, until I click the volume down again. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. -
I restarted my phone and now I am having problems with it. It will turn on but only goes to the black screen with the droid eye before shutting off again and trying to restart, what can I do to fix that?
I'm sorry to learn that your phone is having problems starting up, marinema08. I'm sorry if this is incorrect, but are you using the original HTC Droid Incredible or a later Droid Incredible model? I have a red status dot on my iCloud account but have green status on yahoo and gmail account. What can I do?
Open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Mail then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the accounts. -

I'm using Firefox 4.0.1 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I set up a sync account to transfer my history, etc. from my old desktop to my new laptop (details above). Since then, i haven't used my desktop, just the laptop.
For about the last week or so, the following error message keeps popping up at the foot of the screen:
"Sync encountered an error while synchronising: Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action." And there is a 'Sync now' button.
I can't think of anything that I've done (installing extensions, etc.) to cause this to happen.
Any ideas, anyone? All help appreciated.Go to [https://account.services.mozilla.com/ your sync account], log in, and click clear your sync data.
Then click the Sync now button on the error message.
The error went away for me. -
When attempting to burn an audio cd from my playlist, I get an error message that says, burn failed due to unknown error (4280). It has been working fine for months...any solutions?
I have the exact same problem.
Been searching through this site to try and find an answer but still not come up with anything.
The wierd thing is that a couple of days ago it was working fine, and suddenly overnight it's stopped working.
The only solution i've found is that you need to have administrator rights as it says in the posts on the site below:

Noticed by the diagnostic in your post that you dont have admin rights like me so that mite be the problem. Not sure if this is the right solution though.

Hello Firefox support. I just started working on a 64 bit Windows 7 machine running Firefox 5 and am constantly getting the following Sync error: "Sync encountered an error while syncing: Unknown error. I want to switch from Chrome to Firefox but I have an issue with the Sync feature.
It always shows the following error: "Sync encoutered an error while syncing: Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action."
I already tried this workaround but it did not work: delete my Sync account, completely reset my Firefox profile, import my Chrome bookmarks (using an HTML file), setup a new Sync account (using the same address email then the previously deleted one).
But I still get the error message.
I've seen in other threads that it could be an issue with the history so I also tried to delete it but it did not work either.

I downloaded the "Places Maintenance" add-on and run the integrity check routine and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Error 1604
This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Once the password unregistered, synchronization started to operate.

Cs4 crash with tiff with embedded profile rec709
