A baseball web site I use has sub-windows within pages. These used to open without incident, now they won't open at all.

I've tried allowing pop-ups from this site. That didn't solve the problem. I'm not sure what's wrong. The sub windows open when I use safari to access the site, and they used to open with firefox but suddenly not now. Any ideas?

Chances are you mis-typed a character in the Wifi password and the devices saved that information. Now whenever you try to connect the device refers to the wrong password and the Jetpack does not accept your connection. Tell your devices to forget the wireless connection and start over.
Once you enter the proper WiFi credentials the Jetpack will allow you to connect.

Thanks for the help. I installed CC and it fixed everything but Photoshop. I guess I will have to use my old laptop for images until Adobe fixes the problem. Do you know of a place where we can send issues like these to Adobe?

Simply get the Apple logo and the clock below and then after about 10 mins the laptop switched itself off. The Snow Leopard disk is a brand new family edition. Error message when attempting to install was that "this software cannot be installed on this disk".

I have had to go all the way up to my User folder and reset ALL the properties from there down to be unlocked so that I could remove the prefs.js file so that it could be recreated on the next launch of FF. Exactly why my User folder is locked in such a way as to stop me/FF making changes when I have been able to alter preferences at will in the past, I don't know ...
So far, so good. I have since done a complete shutdown and when I restarted this morning, FF seems to be behaving itself ...

It is possible the versions you have are not compatible with your new Mac. Could you please tell us the following:
1. What OS are you running.
To get this info, click on the Apple on the top left, then select About This Mac. The OS X version is there.
2. What are the versions of the apps that are giving you problems?
To get this info, double click on the hard drive icon and open the Applications folder. Select an application and right click on it. Then select Get Info. The version number is there.

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons. If still nothing and you decide to Restore you iPhone with iTunes on computer, you may need to use DFU Mode Restore. Here are steps: Open iTunes on computer. Iv'e had my mac for 2 weeks safari was working great until I changed to a wire less super hub. Safari will not let me open & log into a web site I go on a lot. My ipad & windows lap top will on the same network. Apple have said it's the DNS setting my cable provider say it's not it's a problem with my mac. Iv'e phoned apple lots of times same with cable provider Iv'e tried a few things it has not helped solve the problem. I'm now advised to return my mac to the shop for a check. Has anyone else had this problem I would appreciate any help because I'm going round in circles.

Adding a couple of DNS numbers sometimes helps:
System Preferences>Network, select your wifi or ethernet network on the left and click on the 'advanced' button and then the DNS tab. On the left side of the window make a note of any DNS numbers listed so that you can re-instate them if necessary and then click on the '+" button bottom left of the window. Type 8.8.8.8 and click the + again and type 8.8.4.4 save the settings and try the website again.
BTW, I have the same problem with Firefox not letting me input my password in secure sites. I did find a workround in the network settings in Firefpx prefs, but it didn't stick so I reverted to using Chrome as alternative browser. No problems with that so long as you don't mind Google looking over your shoulder

Just Installed Firefox 6.0.2 And I'm Having Many Problems On Some Web Sites When Using Firefox:

-When I click on a picture on some sites it will go to the next page with a large view of the picture and then when I go back one page to do the same with another picture (or even the same picture) nothing happens.
-Videos don't show up or on some sites the videos do show up and work but you can't make them full screen. (YouTube works fine).
-Sometimes I have to click "Reload" to get my saved codes to show up.
-It won't let me log onto some sites unless I right click where it says "sign in" and click "open link in new tab".
-In some Forums the tool bars, smileys, etc. don't work when using Firefox or IE9 and they worked before with IE9.
-Some of my letters when viewed with IE9 are now in some kind of code (maybe html?).
I never had these problems before when using IE9 alone!
Java was updated before I installed Firefox and I installed the Adobe Flash Player 10 plugin right after installing Firefox. My OS is Windows 7 64-bit.

Everytime I'm playing a Face Book or other web sites after time has gone by I keep getting an error message that says something about an unresponsive Script or its busy. Getting very annoying

It has the option of "Continuing" or "stopping" the script When I click to Continue the same error keeps popping up all the time. Same as with clicking on the "Stop" the script option. How to view HR photo from a web-site NOT using ArchiveLink NOR ContentRep.

We have a web site where ALL our employees' photos are maintained.
It is accessible via HTTP with one of the parameters is the ID number of the employee.
Is it possible to customize the PA in such a way that it will display the photo in the SAPgui by accessing the photo using a URL ?
For example the following URL:
http://<server_name>:<server_port>/hr_photo/EMPLOYEE_ID.jpg

I know what you are asking for but sadly, it is NOT possible without customization. I have had 2 past clients with this issue....typically they had the employee photos on some common intranet server in some folder and simply referenced them by "(username).jpg" through some kind of custom employee directory app/web page. Since ESS services, many MSS services, HRAS services, etc. via the portal and then also SAPGui transactions rely on the ArchiveLink config for photos as standard, we had to load all the photos into ArchiveLink and do it the "right" way. It actually is VERY easy to do. The added benefit that the clients like too is that you can have SEVERAL photos (such as photos over time) for a single employee (since there is no longer the dependence on the naming of the image file such as (employee#).gif or (userid).jpg. Sooooo....sorry I don't have the answer you wanted, but hopefully my answer helped.

Gettin "Assertion Failed" message and "Assert: parent node must have _DOMElement set", first when trying to bookmark and then when the "auto fill" on some web sites is used. Started after 3.6.9 automatic upgrade.

Open Firefox and navigate to web site. Try to save to bookmarks and get the "assertion Failed" message and "Assert: parent node must have _DOMElement set" followed by a list of 8 (0-8) items.

A web site I used to visit daily, but haven't for a while, causes Firefox to go off in la-la land. I have to kill the process with the task manager.

The web site in question is for our local newspaper. The problem occurs when I am returning from a discussion thread (by Disqus) to the article it's attached to. I get this error message "FirePass Web Access protocol error" on a site that used to open just fine.

I started using LastPass to auto fill the log-in but removed the site from LastPass when I started having this problem.
I can log on to the site OK but there is a look-up app once I am logged in that gives me this error message.
I can log in and access the look-up app OK on my laptop, just not my desktop.

BT Yahoo web site login using IPAD

Hi,
Whenever I I access the bt yahoo web site and log in it just asks me to verify my password again. No matter how many times I try ( I gave up after 5-6 attempts) it still asks to veracity password. I can,t get any further. Currently using the Safari browser on an IPAD 1.

oh hum,
I tried the laptop with Firefox, Safari and Google Crome - the same thing is now happening in these browsers. Note I've not chanaged any settings in each browser or recently installed software.
However although when I try and log in the Please Verify your Password appears it seems that I am logged in as above the login box is says Hi.. followed by my name then Sign Out as in the attached image.
It seem I can't get past this pesky verify page. If I click the drop down arrow it says You are signed in as....my email address.
