A Broken ipod shows up in my screen
Okay so my ipod is messed up.Some times when i plug it in it shows a broken ipod and under it it says" www.apple.com/support" but it dosent tell me what part of apple support to go to.sometimes it does charge and when im hearing music it frezes other times it says that itunes cant recognize the ipod at the moment.what do i do? help!
Oh yes, I've also tried Apple's "iPod recognized by Windows but not iTunes" page. I have reinstalled iTunes, reset my iPod, and even reset the iPod Service.

My iPod shows emails but the screen seems frozen
My iPod will not allow me to open emails or delete them. The screen seems frozen and touching it to open an email, edit etc., does nothing at all. I use my iPad to access emails and this activity is picked up on the iPod, but If I tap on an email to open it, nothing happens at all. Mail works okay as do other functions. Any suggestions greatly received.

If iTunes does not see the iPod, see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will make it visible so you can restore the iPO\od. For recovery mode see:

Outlook icon on ipod shows incoming mail, but screen is blank.
My ipad announces incoming mail, and even previews it on my ipad desktop.but when I hit the icon, the screen is blank except for the tool bar, and then it automatically returns to the desktop. The only way I can read my email is if I go on webmail through the internet. I don't want to delete my email account and add it back as it says I will lose my contacts on my ipad. Any suggestions?
Guys!!! You won't belive this... but finally I found a solution!!!
Mail App refuses to download new incoming mail because there is some mail having trouble with the App like Spam and Drafts Mails.
My solution was erase all the mails in the spam box location and the one in Drafts box location. Then resync and That's it!.
I've been googling by like 2 days and didn't found a thing. All the credit is for Outook who was able to download all Mail that Mail App Couldn't.

IPod shows white screen or dark
My 5th generation (60gb) iPod shows a bright white screen, so I have done de steps listed in other threads, pressing center and menu buttons for a few secs, and after that the bright white screen goes gray and i push the center and play buttons. All this while plugged to macbook...and then it shows in iTunes. I have my music and I can play it, I can sync, etc...all in iTunes. I have restored it, and am running the latest iTunes software. Still my screen remains white or gray and cannot use the iPod if it's not plugged to the mac, since i can't see anything on the screen.
Any suggestions? Is this common?well This did not help me... The screen is still solid white and I can't get it to do anything in reference to restarting. I can only look inside of the Ipod folder whenb my computer sees it when USB is plugged in. Any other thoughts?

Most of the songs on my iPod Classic no longer show up on iTunes on my laptop. I deleted iTunes & installed the latest version but this did not change anything. For example on 1 playlist I have 66 songs but only 1 shows on the iTunes screen. Thanks you for any help.

3. Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
4. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service

Does anybody know why my ipod touch 3rd generations screen does not show anything? The screen is all black constantly. I received the new iPod Nano with the touch screen for Christmas. I have a MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.8. I have iTunes 10 on my system. I cannot drag and drop MP3 files from iTunes to my iPod--though it appears that iTunes recognizes my iPod--it shows up on the Devices menu on the left side of iTunes. My wife--a long-time Mac user--kidded me that I didn't know what I was doing, Then she tried to load my iPod and failed as well. Any suggestions?

My ipod shows a blue screen and then turns off and wont turn back on. What should I do?
I turned on my iPod touch today and it turned on as usual. I unlocked it and went to play a game. I got tired of the game after about 5 mins so I went to the home screen. I swiped to the previous screen and it showed a blue screen after about 3 seconds. I was sort of surprised as this hadn't ever happened before. It didn't turn itself off so I pressed and held the power and home buttons. It turned off after three seconds. I tried to turn it back on but it wouldn't turn back on. I remembered about what someone said about pressing and holding the power button and the home button. I did so and as expected it turned back on. I unlocked it and the same thing happened again. Blue screen! I turned it off and tried the same thing again. Yet this time when it got to the lock screen, I pressed and held the power button and slid to power off. I didn't want to try turning it on again so I asked this question. WHY DOES MY IPOD SHOW A BLUE SCREEN? (Over and over agin every time I turn it on?) Please help!
