A bug in the serial nuimber validation???

I have purchased the DVD version "Adobe Premiere + Photoshop Elements 12" last Saturday.
After installing the programs and creating my account, I noticed it was in English.
As I am Flemish Belgian I rather wanted the program language in Dutch.
I uninstalled the programs along the Configuration screen.
Later on I have learned I had to deactivate first.
In order to get the programs in my language, I have learned via the forum that I have to download a trial version and then have to change the language.
I did it by signing in with my serial numbers.
The installation went through until the end.
When I run both programs, The language indeed is in Dutch but I only can use the Organizer.
When I choose the Editor, I am asked to sign in. (my account on that screen already is noticeable).
By clicking the sign in button I am asked in the next screen to connect to the internet in order to validate the serial number.
By doing this I notice there is a motion but the screen remains the same. Nothing happens. The opening screen hangs on.
This is where I am now . I am now spending each evening since 4 days and still have 3 days until the validation time is expired.
I would be grateful If someone could help me through this nightmare.

    I've noticed what appears to be a bug in the JDeveloper code validator when dealing with static imports.
    The following classes demonstrate the problem:

    When I run the class, it compiles successfully and runs with the following output:

    called parentMethod.
    called childMethod.
    called parentMethod.This might seem like an obscure and theoretical problem, but I've hit this whilst using Mockito, which uses exactly this kind of inherited static method to provide matchers.

    I recently downloaded Adobe Premiere Elements 12. And whenever i open the editor, it shows:
    Serial Number Validation
    Please connect to the internet to validate your serial number.
    I am already connected to wifi. I've been clicking the validate button several times, but still the "serial nunber validation" thing still shows. I have win8 32-bit. Can you please help me? Thanks :-)

    Did you purchase Premiere Elements 12 from Adobe direct?
    I am assuming your download of Premiere Elements was a purchased download rather than the tryout download.
    Adobe is the only one to sort out serial number and activation issue.

    trying to register adobe acrobat xi pro and message came up stating that the serial # is valid but no qualifying product on the computer  - it is downloaded

    I have the same problem also with CS6 extended.
    does the same apply when reinstalling an upgrade? I reinstalled the upgrade only on win8 with the correct password but also get the message about product not qualifying. Would I have to reinstall the original as well?

    Hi,
    Since you already have one copy activated the serial number must be logged in your account details - I would first check that the one logged and the one you are attempting to enter are the same.
    You can check your account details by going to www.adobe.com and clicking on Manage Account. You need to sign in with your Adobe Id and then click on View All under Plans & Products. Next click on View your products and after a while it should produce your list.
    If there is a problem with the serial number, only Adobe can help you there (we are just users). Please see the response in this thread

    CS3 is unsupported under Windows 8. That said, you'll need to contact Adobe
    directly for serial number issues.

  • Adobe acrobat pro 9 keeps telling me "the serial number I entered is not valid"

    I recently had my macbook pro logic board fail and had to purchase a new macbook pro (expensive reinvestment after only 3 years but that's another story).
    Anyway, all of my cs4 upsell products loaded just fine, except adobe acrobat pro 9 keeps telling me "the serial number I entered is not valid." After contacting adobe thru chat several times, here is the info I got back: my serial number IS valid, I still can activate 3 more times (deactivation was not an issue in this case), the final answer was  the cs1 server (my previous version before cs4) is no longer available which basically renders my version of acrobat unusable. Is that really the case? Now that I have a new computer I can't use that software any longer it was working fine on my old laptop? Why did all the other software load okay? Did I miss something or is buying another upgrade neccessary?
    ps: using Macbook Pro with MacOS X.8.5

    Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver are all working just fine. I haven't needed any other apps yet since the reinstall. Install actually worked fine too for Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 but when I try to open anything in it I get the Software Setup Screen and it wants me to enter the serial number for the product, when I do it says the serial number is invalid. I included a screen shot below with the serial number removed so you can see. In chatting with adobe, my rep said it is a valid number (obviously since it worked fine on my other apps), but the server for CS1 is no longer available and since I have an upsell from CS1 they cannot offer me support and to take my question to the forum board, so here I am.

    The qualifying product is the older version that you owned before you purchased the upgrade to version.  It is what qualifies you to use the less expensive upgrade version.  So you need to select the older version and provide its serial number to prove that you qualify for using the upgrade.

    HI together,
    I'm very annoyed about the fact that I payed for Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 5 (EDU version) and now I'm not able to use it on my new Mac. The Support team (Chat) from Adobe told me several times that the product/serial or whatever was canceled but this doesn't help me to get the product working and I won't pay again for this software. So what's the reason for cancellation? I can't see reasons for this and I don't understand why Support team can't help me. Already found Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite but this doesn't helped me.

    Maybe this is also useful... They told me I canceld this by myself which is not the truth. I had a Windows machine and used Creative Cloud as well but I only canceld the Cloud, not my Serial Number for Production Premium...
    So who is able to reactivate my Serial Number so that I'm able to use my product?

    If you registered the product with Adobe (Version 12 and 13 required mandatory registration) then the correct serial number must be recorded in your Adobe account.  You can login and check there and also copy and paste the number to avoid any mistakes in reading the numbers.

    My old PC crashed and died, and I am unable to deactivate the licence of Photoshop Elements 7.
    I re-installed Photoshop Elements 7 via a trial download from Adobe website onto my new PC, Windows 8.1 single language.
    My serial number is not accepted.

    Customer help care is not helpful and keep ending my chat before I get a solution.

    Thank you Benjamin MItchley.  I reviewed the chat log and I can confirm that they are correct we do not provide installation support for Photoshop Elements 7 due to the age of the software title.  Photoshop Elements 7 also does not support activation so there is no risk that you were unable to deactivate the software on your previous computer.
    I am showing the serial number under your account was provided from an equipment manufacturer.  It is possible there may have been a customized installer for that version.  Have you contacted the computer manufacturer to obtain the installation files for the copy of Photoshop Elements 7 included with your computer?
    Since you did not migrate/transfer over any files it is unlikely there is a software issue preventing the installation.  You can try running the CC Cleaner Tool to ensure that no corrupt licensing files may be preventing the installation process.  You can find details of the use of the CC Cleaner Tool at Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.

    I'm trying to reinstall photoshop CS5 in a new laptop (pc) but i have an "The serial number is not valid for this product" error.
    I have deactivated photoshop in the old computer.
    The old laptop have photoshop installed with the DVD but the new laptop don't have DVD so i downloaded cs5 from Download CS5 products. ¿Maybe doing this is an error?

    the installation files work the same whether from a  disc or download, but there are other ways to mismatch a serial and installer.
