A calendar on icloud has been deleted.
Hi all!
I've made a calendar on icloud.com which i shared with other people. I can't see it anymore on my icloud.com, but the person with who I shared the calendar can still see it on the iPhone.
Can someone help me please?

My iPhone 5s has been deleting my calendar. First time, just the calendar, then next time the calendar and contacts, then yesterday, calendar, contacts, notes and reminders. The phone is only 6 months old or so and is on iOS 7.1.2 (although I need to update it- but have to do some storage management first...)
I have looked at my calendar in my icloud account and it is a week or so out of date, even though it supposedly backed up from my phone on Friday. I am becoming very frustrated by this. Am I doing something wrong? Advice would be much appreciated. In the past I have deleted my icloud account from my phone and then re-signed in, as well as sharing my calendar with myself to restore it, and it works eventually.Sorry I misstyped- it is an iphone 4s.

Login at icloud.com and check whether the calendar is there, or gone. iCloud is NOT a backup system, if you don't keep your own backuos nobody else is either.

My Outlook Contacts/calendars (running on an iMac) never sync properly with my iPhone, and now on the last sync 90% of the contact information on my iPhone has been deleted. Any ideas?

Assuming he has a backup that includes the data that has been deleted, then we should use that backup to restore his device.

I want to search Time Machine for an appointment that has been deleted from my current view of iCal. Can I "restore" a previous version of iCal without losing all the entries I've made to the calendar since that prior date?
No. I tried it on my Time Machine (I had just made one change today, so I knew I would not be left in the lurch if I failed) and when I clicked on restore I got this message:

My email associated with my iCloud ID has been deleted and my birthday is wrong in the system for the security question. Therefore, I can't delete my old iCloud ID in order to have my new ID on my phone. HELP!

Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

No, not unless you have the email somewhere else as well. It's kind of the same thing with my devices, I delete an iMessage but if I search it in search it pops up, but I can't access it.

icloud on iphone is signed into account that has been deleted/inactive and cannot signout of it as no pw is available and cannot reset it either as it doesn't find the apple id back. what can i do?

Do not worry. Hold Sleep (the button you have at the top of the phone) and Home buttons at the same time until your phone restarts, and then try installing the iOS update again. -

Whether or not you have a separate iTunes account, is up to you. If you have a separate iTunes accounts you will not be able to access the music, books, apps that have been purchased by the other. Okay so when I had a ipod touch 4 with ios 6 my apple id got hacked and they spent all my itunes credit bla blah blah. so i made a new apple id which was fine and was working. i recently upgraded to an ipod 5 so did my sister and i got ios 7and she just kept ios 6 then my ipod camera crapped out so i decided to back up my ipod first and switch with my litttle sister by erasing and restoring both of them. I erased my little sisters one and restored it to mine but it said to do that it needed to upgrade to io7 so i let it do its thing and then my ipod camera started working again (i hadnt erased mine) I then relised when i clicked back up to my ipod on my little sisters ipod i clicked the back up which was ages ago when i was using my ipod 4 and ios6 with my old apple id that i no longer use. now that i want to change her ipod back to her own one not with my old stuff on it. it is logged into the old apple id with the old email that we deleted and the old icloud account linked to the same old email account that is deleted. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------LONG STORY SHORT : I am trying to erase my sisters ipod so i can restore it back to normal but theres is an old apple id on it with an email account and icloud account that has been deleted. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased. -

As Ocean20 say, your only shot at recovering the photos and data is to restore from a backup (with iTunes if you took the backup with iTunes, through iCloud if you took the backup through iCloud).
The erasure is to prevent your data from falling into the hands of somebody who takes your phone and eventually guesses your password. If you feel that the inconvenience caused by this feature and your friend outweighs the trouble that somebody could cause if they got possession of your contacts and other data, you can change this behaviour.
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > Erase Data > OFF -

If you had iTunes Match updated with all of your non iTunes purchased content already, then yes, when you enable iTunes Match with the following article it will have all the content that has been uploaded to iTunes Match will be available for download.
