A cannont get mail message, what does it mean?

i got a message that my email wasn't connected. the message reads: cannot get mail the user name or password for "imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com" is incorrect." what does this mean? it was working fine 10 minutes ago! i've tried deleting my email address, and reseting it, but i keep getting that message. can anyone help?

I found out that happens to me when my IPhone is trying to retrieve mail at the same time as other apps. Either my Yahoo! mail page is up at work or I left my Mail.app open at home. If I try a few minutes later it's usually cleared up.

Try going to About this Mac, under Apple menu, more info, in the left column hard ware click power. Under battery info see what it says under battery health>condition. If not normal, the battery probably needs service (replacement). You want take it to the Apple store to have it replaced, as this can other more serious issues if left un-tended to.

TS2972 apple tv can't sign in to iTunes Store until the network time has been set. this is an Apple generated message. what does it mean? how can i fix it? very very very simple questions but there is no reasonable answer from Apple anywhere on the intern

how do i fix it? nothing even begins to address this issue so far. generalities about system setup show a lack of respect for customers. yes my system is plugged in and i have reset and rebooted and rechecked everything. i need help because this a real problem that needs a real solution, not more platitudes.

this is exactly the kind of response i expected, almost begged support to please not do this to me and yet there it is another meaningless, non helpful, standard template response to restart my apple tv.
this does NOT work which is why i am contacting you. i have tried all suggestions about unplugging and restarting and nothing works.
i live in an apartment and logon to the provided wifi wireless. so i do not have access to a router. however, management says they have talked with their provider and have been assured that the required ports are available.
remember all the jokes about how bad windows was because the solution was always to re boot. funny huh? how is apple any different.
i have been to the local apple care store and they are clueless, too.
should we just end it here and you admit that i will not be getting any support from apple on this one? i got the ipad because my kids were such big fans. it is difficult for me to share their enthusiasm.

So I have this problem with the Visual Voicemail to but it started when I switched my Data Plan at AT&T from the Unlimited to the DataPro with Tethering.
I did it to prepare for iOS4 any suggestions, No I do not have a 3rd Party Profile on my phone.

i am running in -verbose mode and am getting a signaling error. does anyone know what this is or what it means? here is the exact message:

I am also seeing this error message when I run in Verbose mode. The reason I turned on verbose mode was to locate a tremendous memory leak. I see a few messages on the same subject but I do not see any answers. Has anyone found the solution to this?

I have attempted to open Safari on my windows vista based system. However, whe I open it now I get two error messages the first says...
"The procedure entry point CFPropertyListCreateWithData could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreFoundation.dll."
When I click out of this I get the message;
"Your copy of Safari is missing important software resources. Please reinstall Safari."
I have repeatedly reinstalled Safari but still get the same error messages.
Can anyone help me resolve this issue.

Dear b noir, thanks for your response. After constantly uninstalling and reinstalling I was driving myself crazy with trying to resolve this issue. I followed one pice of advice and then another but to no avail. I had to uninstall all aspects of iTunes and Quicktime and all asoociated programmes and files.
What finally resolved this matter was following the guidelines given in this link and I'm pleased to say success. I share this with people who may encounter a similar problem. I am in no way computer lietrate but not a novice and I found these instructions time consuming but oh so worthwhile.

I just got a new Mac and wanted to transfer my old iTunes library to it. After a night of attempting to import the old library to the new Mac it said that the library was damaged and subsequent restarts yielded the 13010 error. I deleted everything listed, did a number of iTunes reintalls and the only thing that has allowed iTunes to continue is to dig up a backup library (which is in progress now). Barring this working, how can I get it so that iTunes boots again as if it is factory fresh?
