A communication error occured, with the TREX TcpIp Server (Errorcode 2982)

Hi All,
We are in the process of Migrating our EP 5.0 --> EP 6.0. While upgrading TREX, I am getting following error:

Has any one came across this type of error ?

Hello James,
            Thanks for writing.
I am on Windows.
Now the problem is solved. I had also created a message with service market place for the above mentioned problem.
<b>Solution:</b> While upgrading the TREX, it has overwritten the "TREXIndexServer.ini", we restored it from the backup & the error was resolved.
Thanks & Regards

Okay, folks, after a 3 1/2 hour phone call with a (very patient) telephone support person at Blackberry, here's what I learned.
You can check your USB drivers this way:
Plug in your phone into your USB drive. Assuming your Blackberry is "seen" by your computer...
Go into the Device Manager on your computer (control panel)
Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers item on the bottom of the list
Right-click on BlackBerry Smartphone and choose Properties
    Click on the Driver tab
Click on the Driver Details button
You should see one driver. I saw two. The one the BlackBerry likes is the RimUsb one.
So here's what NOT to do: We tossed the entire driver that was the "extra". This effectively made using my mouse and keyboard impossible, as they are USB, and sent my poor husband into the basement to find a million-year-old keyboard (and then a mouse) with the old fashioned kind of connectors (PS2). Bleh. Don't do that.
Here's what I did that worked (not saything this will work for you -- this modifies the Registry so better do a system backup with that backup and restore if you're nervous about this sort of thing):
From the start menu, choose run, and type regedit to get into the Registry editor.
Follow this file path: Computer, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Control, Class
    Click on: {36FCE60-C465-11CF-8056-4445535400000}
If there's an item on the right called "UpperFilters", delete it. (see pictures)
    Hope this helps someone.

  • "An error occured with the AppleShare system"

    Hi,
I'm running a shell script that fetchs files on an ftp server each 5 minutes. When an item is available it's copied on an AFP Server (AppleShare IP v6 or Windows 2000 depending of the name of the file). The shell script also check for the shares to be mounted and if not mount them. I also use an AppleScript (on idle) to dispatch the files in folders on the shares.
All runs perfectly but sometime - may be once or twice a day or once per week - the message An error occures with the AppleShare system (this is my translation of the french message Une erreur est survenue avec le système AppleShare) is displayed on the Finder preventing the AppleScript to do its work.
Any idea of how to resolve the problem or to trap it in the AppleScript ?

  • An error occurred during the Network Policy Server use of the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP).

    Hello everyone:
I know this question have been asked in these forums quite a few times. I apologize if it is a repeat telecast but I was not able to find a suitable solution pertaining to my problem.
I have a AP/SM setup that is configured to get EAP-PEAP authentication from Windows 2012 Server. I have setup everything and have verified that the EAP-PEAP authentication works fine on AP/SM by getting authentication from FreeRADIUS server. Now, when I try
to get authentication from Windows Server, I am getting a reject. The Event log shows this generic message:

    Reason:
An error occurred during the Network Policy Server use of the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP). Check EAP log files for EAP errors.
There is nothing in the EAP logs that is obvious too:

    Hi,
Have you installed certificates on the NPS server properly? Have you selected the proper certificate in the properties of PEAP?
Here is an article about the Certificate requirements of PEAP,
Certificate requirements when you use EAP-TLS or PEAP with EAP-TLS
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814394
If your certificate matches the requirement, you may try to reinstall the certificate by export and import.
To export a certificate, please follow the steps below,
Open the Certificates snap-in for a user, computer, or service.
In the console tree under the logical store that contains the certificate to export, click
    Certificates.
In the details pane, click the certificate that you want to export.
On the Action menu, point to
All Tasks, and then click Export.
In the Certificate Export Wizard, click No, do not export the private key. (This option will appear only if the private key is marked as exportable and you have access to the private key.)
Provide the following information in the Certificate Export Wizard:
Click the file format that you want to use to store the exported certificate: a DER-encoded file, a Base64-encoded file, or a PKCS #7 file.
If you are exporting the certificate to a PKCS #7 file, you also have the option to include all certificates in the certification path.
If required, in Password, type a password to encrypt the private key you are exporting. In
Confirm password, type the same password again, and then click
    Next.
In File name, type a file name and path for the PKCS #7 file that will store the exported certificate and private key. Click
    Next, and then click Finish.
To import a certificate, please follow the steps below,
Open the Certificates snap-in for a user, computer, or service.
In the console tree, click the logical store where you want to import the certificate.
On the Action menu, point to
All Tasks, and then click Import to start the Certificate Import Wizard.
Type the file name containing the certificate to be imported. (You can also click
Browse and navigate to the file.)
If it is a PKCS #12 file, do the following:
Type the password used to encrypt the private key.
(Optional) If you want to be able to use strong private key protection, select the
Enable strong private key protection check box.
(Optional) If you want to back up or transport your keys at a later time, select the
Mark key as exportable check box.
    Do one of the following:
If the certificate should be automatically placed in a certificate store based on the type of certificate, click
Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate.
If you want to specify where the certificate is stored, select
Place all certificates in the following store, click
Browse, and choose the certificate store to use.
If issue persists, you may try to re-issue the certificate.

  • "An error occured with the boot selection verify media is present and retry" from OS Boot Manager

So I'm trying get my HP ProBook 6550p to boot Linux in UEFI mode.
Some sources say that OS Boot Manager points to \EFI\Microsoft\BOOT\bootmgfw.efi in your ESP, I've placed my EFI Shell there as a PoC test, which of course fails and errors out with the above message.
What am I doing wrong here?

That path would be for the Windows UEFI boot manager, which reads the \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD database to get the boot configuration.  In order to boot that path, the UEFI firmware has to be configured with that as the default.
If the computer firmware is not configured to boot efi, it will be trying to load the MBR and boot record.
A ufi shell would be in a path such as \EFI\Boot\ShellX64.efi.  To get that to work there has to be a shell entry available at boot time.  I have only gotten that to work once--and that was NOT on my g7-1117cl  laptop.
I have been looking into this for my Pavillion g7-1117cl laptop, so far with no luck.  I can boot into the diagnostics on the HP_TOOLS partition under the path \Hewlett-Packard\SystemDiags.  This program has the  name of SystemDiags.efi or SystemDiags32.efi.  Since it can load that efi file it should be able to load bootmgrfw.efi.  But it still needs to be configured in the firmware to boot to that file.

Error 213:19 | Problem has occurred with the licensing of this product

  • Reason Code:23 Reason: An error occurred during the Network Policy Server use of the Extensible Authentication Protocol EAP

I get the above described error when trying to connect to NPS 2012 with a Windows XP machine
I successfully connecting to that server with an Android phone.
I started examining the problem and saw the following:
    1. The android phone uses some cipher suites that are not supported in Windows XP and the one that theserver selects in  the Server Hello message is Cipher Suite: TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA 0xc014
    2. With the WINXP the selected cipher suite is Cipher Suite: TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA 0x0035 and it fails with the above error.
    3. Next step I did was to restrict the NPS to use only the Cipher Suite: TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA 0x0035 and not to my surprise the Android phone could not connect and I was getting the same error as with the WINXP.
    Any solution to this prpoblem?

    Hi and thanks for replying
I do not believe there is a problem with the certificate as it uses the same certificate in both authentication processes - the failed one using the TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA
cipher suit and the successfull one using TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA
cipher suit - so I believe the reason lies elsewhere.
Please check it and try to produce a solution for it.
    Thanks

  • I am trying to get to a website I go to daily and get the message: "An error occured with the SQL server This is not a problem with the IP Board but rather your SQL server." I have no idea what this error is or what to do about it.

I have tried clearing everything, rebooting, I just do not know what this actual error is. I was on the website, went back about 30 minutes later and that message. No other websites are bringing up this error.

If FCP captures the footage then capture with FCP and import the files into Premiere. Just a few extra clicks.
    Or read this:
