a contract was signed but does not appear to be signed and is still showing in my outbox

Open the document with Open Office. Select and Copy the image. Paste it into Pages.
If that doesn't work,
Open the document with Open Office. Select and Copy the image. Launch Preview. Press command-N (New document from Clipboard). Save the Preview file as a PDF or JPEG, as appropriate. Insert that in Pages.

Thanks Sabian. It took me a while to figure out that "close Acrobat Reader 7.0" actually meant "delete it". After loading 10.1.2 I followed the instructions to send my pdf file and Internet Explorer decided to "quit" right in the middle of the process. ?? I'll try to use Chrome to see if that helps.

Is there a way to recover a word document that was auto saved before a power outage?

I was working on a document that was previously saved, went to the save the darn thing, and of course the power zapped out. It was in word 2010? and even when searching for "AutoRecovery" files it is not there. just the original document opens, not the modified one. Please if anyone knows how to find a recovered one, or if it is even possible can you let me know.

I was assuming you meant 2011 and not 2010 since 2010 is a Windows version and not Mac
First a disclaimer, right now I am on a PC and not my Mac so there may not be a one-to-one matchup.
Clicking on the main Word drop down, this may be under Preferences, I have a Word Options button. From there do you have Allow Background Saves checked? Also, the button File Locations; find AutoRecover Files and see where those are located. Then using Finder, go to that location and see if you can find a file with a date/time stamp for the time of the power outage. If there is a file, open and see if that is what you need.
If there are no files, or cannot find the recovery file location, there may not be much option than to try and redo all the work up to the power outage. Word is supposed to auto save, and take you to the last saved form of files before an exit that is not according to the rules...it is supposed to do that, or so it claims.

FormsCentral form files are stored on the FormsCentral servers. If you are the author or a co-author of the form you can access it from any machine by logging into FormsCentral. If you aren't the author or a co-author of the form you will need to contact the author and have them share the form with your FormsCentral account. Shut the Mac down immediately (may already be too late) and buy some data recovery software, you may have a chance of recovering it.
I assume that you're asking because you don't back up?

I seem to be missing parts of a document that was saved on iCloud.

I seem to be missing parts of a document that was saved on iCloud. The problem occurred when I was updating to mavericks and my imac when into recovery mode. I spoke to apple and the advised me to erase the harddrive as the all the documents was saved on icloud and start again. Since then all the documents seem to be there but sections seem to be missing on a very large document. Does anyone know how to get the full version back?

If you erased your hard drive, you may well have erased any relevant copies that might have helped you restore your document. You might try opening the document and seeing if there are any previous versions available to you via file > revert to.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, I updated to Mozilla Firefox 6. I went into the Toolbar, I think to private browsing, but not sure now. I asked that all cookies be blocked. A window came up from my home page that said "Allow, Allow this session only, Deny Cookies." I said Deny and it told me 19 cookies were being blocked. I have never been able to get the window to leave the browser home page. In fact, I can not make any choice in that window. The window kind of shakes. The Mozilla browser is still stuck like that. I am on Internet Explorer, but I would like to have Firefox back again. What steps do I take next?

I am having a similar problem. Running Xp.
Latest revision of firefox.
After using firefox for a while if I exit, parent.lock is locked and i have to reboot to reload firefox.
I have killed all firefox applications from task manager (usually there are none). and I have tried 3 different "file unlock" programs including unlocker to no avail.
I also recently installed a program that shows -all- open files, and parent.lock is not listed, and thus not closable/unlockable from there.

Single was downloaded and album was also purchased. The single that was downloaded doesn't show as part of the album, but needs to be re-purchased. What the ****'s with that?

So I downloaded the single, Rap God and also pre-ordered the full album (MMLP2). The album downloaded this morning, but the single that was already downloaded is not available as part of the album. I have a 'Complete My Album' button to click, but every time I do, nothing happens. This is super frustrating. A song that I already purchased did not download as part of the album because it is marked as such, and now you're asking me to re-purchase the song? Has Apple completely lost their minds?
Oh, and the digital booklet also isn't downloading. Pretty neat.
Any fix would be much appreciated before I f*cking launch every iDevice I own over a roof.

I would be eager to download and listen to the available songs on my pre-ordered album as well. I found a couple of resources that might help with downloading this purchase.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted. You can use the steps in this article:

If the songs do not download after following the steps in that article, I recommend trying to download the songs from the list of past purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the album, you will not be charged again. You can find the steps to do this in the following article:
