A DropDownList is not generated When generate of XML + XDP (=PDF)

Hi,
When I generate PDF from XML by the completed_PROJECT by a tutorial ("Working with the PDF Document Object"), I cannot display DropDownList well.
I prepare DropDownList into <enum_item>tag in an <enum_list> tag in data.xml each, but what kind of rule will it be established in?
Please teach me if you know it.

By reloading the data into the new info cube and generated a new query using query designer.
By executing this query the URL generated in a normal way.

We cannot guess what is the error if you don't post any part of your code.
Additionally when you put some code or output please enclose it between two lines starting with {noformat}{noformat}
i.e.:

Table of Contents become not clickable when I convert Pages to PDF

Hello,
I created a document in Pages but the TOC becomes not clickable when I export it to PDF. I tried "Print as PDF", too but didn't work. Is there a fix or workaround? I am working on User Manual for a new system for my company and not many people will be able to use Pages document.

What version of Pages?
Sounds like Pages 5.2.2. They are supposed to have fixed that, but seems you are still having the problem.
If you are doing a manual you will be far better off using Pages '09.
Pages 5.2.2 has so many features missing. and is buggy to boot.

Date not showed when report is viewed in PDF .

Hi,
We have a text field that shows the date on which the report is running.Date is not showed when report is viewed in PDF.But in HTML we can view them . Can any one help me out?
Totally there are four pages for the report.

I have observed the PDF driver iin EPM 11.1.2.x is not up-to-date and technically the Date (Text) is there just like in HTML. However, when you increase the View (Zoom in), it eventually does show up.
I have chatted with Oracle Support, and they will not address it with a patch for now.

We have adobe acrobat 8 on another system that seems to work fine, what elsedo we need to do to get this trial version to work properly.
We are able to get everything set up , sized, etc, but when the actual process starts it is stating "autocad not responding and it just spins and never makes the actual final pdf.
Any help on this would be appreciated

It's probably a compatibility problem with the updated PDF libraries vs. you hopelessly old ACAD that can't be resolved. In any case, I'd consider it one of those things of trying to attack the problem on the wrong end. All major CAD programs have native PDF export these days and even ACAD has had since v2006 at least...

Some text not printing when printing from FM8 to Pdf

We have recently upgraded to Acrobat 9 and now have problems with some Helvetica text not showing up in the pdfs. If we change the text to Arial it prints. Changing/substituting Arial for Helvetica is not an option since these files are structure using modules built by a 3rd party. This is obviously an issue with Framemaker8 and Acrobat 9 so my hopes are that someone else has had this issue and has a fix.

Thanks Art. Sorry, I looked through the forum and didn't see any Q&A on missing text in Pdfs. We are on Windows XP working files from our desktop and our server. Our normal method of producing pdfs is through File>Print using our minor customized pdf settings for screen viewing and hires printing (we've used these settings for years). Since our upgrade to Acrobat 9 we are now using Distiller 9.2.0.124. I've also found out since I first posted my question that we are not on the latest version of Framemaker8. I will run the updates to get us to the latest version of 8 and see if that fixes what seems to be an incompatiblity issue between FM8 and Acrobat 9. I say that because this problem started when we upgraded to Acrobat 9. If that doesn't fix the problem, I'll get back to you to find out more about the Microsoft printer Hotfix. Unless you know for a fact that FM8 is not compatible with Distiller 9.2.0.124, in that case we'll need to upgrade to FM9.

Look at the SAPHIGH values it is taking value as tcode infact I could see that values is next line in the su24_data file.

File Content Conversion Problem of not generating empty file

Hi All,
i have 3 input text files for my BPM to process.
if any of the text file is empty, i need to generate an alert message that the file is empty........but the problem is file adapter does not generate a XML message for the empty text file..........

I dont find ur mail Id in ur Business card.Post the same..I will send you across a PDF with steps to write a adapter module.You would need to extend the same to check the payload for empty data and accordingly create a XML payload with checkpointer.
For validating this value in a BPM use the FORK step and check the payload in the condition editor.

Some CGM graphics do not appear when FrameMaker files are converted to PDF

CGM files are exported from ISO (Arbortext Isodraw 7.0 CadProcess) files. Then they are imported into Adobe FrameMaker 7.2, where all elements of the illustration are visible and can be printed. The FrameMaker FM file is converted to a PDF file using the Adobe PDF converter function of Frame. When the PDF file is opened by Adobe Acrobat 8,0 Professional, some, but not all of the illustrations in the file exhibit this problem (The callouts and other text may appear, but the lines, curves, etc. do not). The illustration prints the same way it appears on the screen. When exporting the ISO file as a CGM, the following selections are made.
When importing file into Frame, "Import by Reference" is selected.
When creating PDF in Frame, the following selections are made.

Photos in 9.2 do not appear when viewed through screen sharing

I recently upgraded my Mac Mini, which stores my master iPhoto library, to iPhoto 9.2. Because this Mac Mini is also used as a media server for an AppleTV, I almost always operate the computer through screen sharing using a MacBook Pro, rather than connecting it to a television. Both computers are running OS 10.6.8.
Since upgrading this setup to iPhoto 9.2, I can no longer view photos in my iPhoto library through screen sharing. Previously, I had noticed that I could not view certain other things through screen sharing (such as watching DVD's). For example, I couldn't view individual photos in detail in iPhoto, but I could view them in grid view. Now I cannot even view them in grid view anymore.
Is there a graphics library that is not compatible with screen sharing that is now being completely used by iPhoto? Is there a setting that I can check? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our styles are obviously incompatible. However, I feel obliged to comment for the benefit of people who may find this thread in future.
It is quite wrong to say offset data is ignored. This is an extremely damaging policy to follow. Offset data and stream lengths are extremely important because PDF viewers are expected to use it to find PDF. Imagine reading a file sized in gigabytes - it is the only efficient way to find data.
Now, it is common, especially for beginners, to see that it is not important. This is because many PDF readers are designed to detect bad files and repair them. However
* not all readers will repair
* readers repair in different ways (e.g. some will only correct errors that could reasonably have happened from line end transformation
* files which pass initial tests (files which are nearly right) may not be repaired at all, leading to subtle and difficult to detect errors. This especially includes files with superficially correct xref tables and startxref but wrong offsets or streams.
Therefore I make it an absolute policy never to examine the text of PDFs, only to examine actual files. My experience, which you can choose to learn from or not, is that more than half of beginner problems arise from bad xref tables, offsets or stream lengths.
However, you clearly don't want my advice; I will confine myself to correcting factual errors in your post for the benefit of others. Have a nice day!

Not able to generate AS2 MDN when receiving custom XML via AS2

I have setup the trading partner and the corresponding TP certificate import for receiving the custom XML via AS2 channel.
I am receiving the custom xml properly to oracle b2b and able to receive the same to bpel as well. however in the oracle b2b console under reports tab i am seeing only one record for inbound document receive and i am not seeing the other record for the AS2 MDN going back to vendor. I have setup the AS2 channel under the external trading partner --> Channel using the vendor AS2 URL and selected all the security parameters while creating the Outbound AS2 channel.
1. Not able to generate AS2 MDN when receiving custom XML via AS2.
2. eventhough i am able to decrypt the inbound custom XML and ablr to recieve it in bpel also for processing, in the reports tab the inbound message state is changing to MSG_ERROR and it has the folloing error message:

Vendor has enabled the ACK mode as SYNC.

RoboHelp HTML v9 - Browse Sequence not appearing when generated

RoboHelp HTML v9
New project - eg not converted from previous version
Added a browse sequence as per the help documentation - I've followed the help documentation however when I get to view result of the generated WebHelp - the browse sequence is not present on the topic pages that were added to the browse sequence.
I read previous forum postings for RH8 - where reinstalling or repairing the software seemed to assist - however when I access through control panel - add/remove programs the only option in to Remove RH9.
So I thought I'd ask the question here before uninstalling.
There was also mention of a dll file that needs to be registered on the viewers pc before the browse sequence would appear and if this is the case due to the possible audience for the publish I would not be able to control that.
Any help is appriciated, thanks.

Thanks - I guess I was looking for the page icons that visualized the
sequence for the viewer.
That being said - the navigation arrows are present in my published file
however seem to hold no functionality - while on a topic that is within
the browse sequence clicking the arrows does not move through the
sequence.
I was initially looking for onscreen navigation for a series of topics -
I though browse sequence would do the trick but I think I will move to
another method.

expecting to see the sequence directly on those pages. But that usually
won't happen.

Change pointers are not generated when creating a material master

Dear Experts,
Change pointers are not generated when creating a material master.
However, when a change is made to the already created material, the change pointers are created according the fields in BD52.
Am I missing any settings?
I need to create change pointers immediately when I create the material master in MM01.
Please suggest.
