A fatal error occured in the PD Layer during create Supplier RFx response

Dear SRM 7 Experts,
I am implementing SRM 7.  I can successfully create a Supplier RFx Response on behalf of a supplier using the Surrogate Bid functionality.  However, if I log on as a supplier contact person and try to create a Supplier RFx Response, I get error u201D A fatal error occured in the PD Layer. The transaction needs to be terminatedu201D.
Number ranges for Supplier RFx response (BUS2202) are maintained and assigned to the transaction type correctly.
What could be the problem?
Kind regards
Pedzi

I just checked the earlier threads discussed on this forum says, this is due to non maintaining of number ranges , but i have maintained the no ranges for RFx response,
got stuck here, kindly help me to solve this issue.
    Thanks

Sorry  wrongly posted...  the details are below.
The Rfx response no range 01 & 02 are matching with transaction type Supplier quote 01 & 02,
In Define Transaction type -- for Transaction category BUS2200 -- Transaction type RFQU -- the entries are
    *Tran.cat            Trns.type                     subsequent obj.type                     Follow up trns.type
    *Bus2200            RFQU                            BUS2202                                     ECPO

    Hi experts,
Do you know these error message?
A fatal error occured in the PD Layer. The transaction needs to be terminated
We applied note 1174283, but it didn't work.

    Hi PM,
Note 1269719 - display a more detailled message in abort popup
    Symptom
In some cases, the SRM application cannot continue and must be aborted.
Then a popup is displayed with an error message "A fatal error occured in
the PD layer. The transaction needs to be terminated.".
The error message is quite general, it is displayed even if a more specific
    error message is available.
Note 1174283 - SOCO: SC data will not be saved correctly in secend step
    Symptom
You saved some data in the second step of Sourcing Cockpit using the button
'Save'. You closed the application and started it again.
You selected data in the first step of SOCO or went directly to the second
step. The system display a message: "A fatal error occured in the PD layer.

  • An error occurred in the PD layer; transaction terminated in SC

    Hi experts,
I have an issue like this "An error occurred in the PD layer; transaction terminated". This error came when i save Shopping Cart.
Just for the information, I have maintained number range assignment for BUS2121 - Shopping Carts also.
And I am working on SRM 7.0
Do you have any idea to solve this issue?
    Thanks,
    Rhesa Syahrial

    Hi Sam,
    Thanks for your fast reply.
Below is the error analysis from st22.
An exception occurred which is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_BBP_PD_ABORT', was not caught and
    therefore caused a runtime error.
The reason for the exception is:
    Buffer table not up-to-date
I have checked in sapnote also about this issue. but still not resolved.

  • REP-9: A fatal error occured: in the toolkit.

Ok, so I just installed a fresh install of Forms and Reports 11.1.2.0.0 and applied the most recent patch for it like I've been doing to the other servers in my environments. This one is the only one that gives me errors when I try to run a report. Here's what I'm looking at:
REP-9: A fatal error occured: in the toolkit.
UI-9: This function call is out of context.
REP-0002: Unable to retrieve a string from the Report Builder message file.
    REP-0009:
    oracle.reports.RWException: IDL:oracle/reports/RWException:1.0
    at..
I'd type out the rest but I can't paste in the new forum for some reason... Anyone seen this before?

I think I may have found the problem. The path in my account profile was wrong... I'm going to re-install everything with the correct path and see if that helps.

    Hi,
Please check the server role and Web Services for Internet Information Services (IIS) are set correctly.
For the detailed IIS configuration, please check:

  • Error while executing SSIS package - Error: 4014, Severity:20, State: 11. A fatal error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will be terminated (input error: 109, output error: 0)

    Hi,
We are getting the following error when running our SSIS packages on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1:
Error: 4014, Severity:20, State: 11.   A fatal error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will be terminated (input error: 109, output error: 0)
SQL Server Data Tools and SQL Server Database Engine reside on the same server.
    We tried the following:
    Disabling TCP Chimney Offload
    Installed Windows Server 2008 SP1
Splitting our SSIS code into multiple steps so it is not all one large continuous operation
The error occurs during a BulkDataLoad task.
Other options we are investigating with the engineering team (out-sourced, so delayed responses):
Firewall configurations (everything is local, so this should not make a difference)
    Disabling the anti-virus scanner
Are there other things we can try?
    Any insight is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi HenryKwan,
Based on the current information, the issue can be caused by many reasons. Please refer to the following tips:
Install the latest hotfix based on your SQL Server version. Ps: there is no SQL Server 2012 R2 version.
Change the MaxConcurrentExecutables property from -1 to another one based on the MAXDOP. For example, 8.
Set "RetainSameConnection" Property to FALSE on the all the connection managers.
    Reference:
    https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/774370/ssis-packages-abort-with-unexpected-termination-message
If the issue is still existed, as Jakub suggested, please provide us more information about this issue.

  • Sysprep - Fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine

On the 4th attempt to sysprep a Windows 7 Enterprise system, I get the dreaded, 'A fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine.'

I've seen articles referring to the Windows Software Licensing Rearm program may have issues running more than three times in a single Windows image and to add <SkipRearm>1</SkipRearm> in the /unattend file...  but this did not help.
The Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service has also been disabled which is often referred to in other posts.
The KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947212/en-us indicated that the resolution is to re-create the image for the machine... This is very frustrating. I'm hoping that there is

    Hello,
Could you try to use Network Monitor or WireShark to examine if the connections resets are coming from a client computer
or from the host where SQL Server is installed?
Network Monitor can be downloaded from the following link:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4865
If you use Network Monitor trace you will identify connection resets by looking for “TCP: Flags=,,R.A” at the description column on the Frame Summary. Once you find the flag, the Source column will tell you the identity of the host resetting the connection,
maybe is not the SQL Server host.
    Hope this helps.

    Description:
A fatal error occurred while creating an SSL client credential. The internal error state is 10013.
I am not sure if its related to the public certificate we are using or if its related to the one provided from the local CA.I have searched and found other links that suggest it could be related to SSL versions being disabled etc.
All servers are running Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter. The Exchange CAS servers do also sit behind a pair of F5 BIG IP Load Balancers
Any suggestions on where to look?
    Thanks

    Hi,
According to the event log, the issue is related to Schannel instead of Exchange.
    Please try the following steps:
1.In Control Panel, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Local Security Policy.
2.In Local Security Settings, expand Local Policies, and then click Security Options.
3.Under Policy in the right pane, double-click System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing, and then click Enabled.
    4. Ran gpupdate /force
If it doesn’t work, please go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA and grant "Network Services" Read permission to "MachineKeys" folder. Then restart server to have a try.

    Hi,
When I have had problem's like this before I have deleted the complete TMS configuration, then made sure the TMS RFC connections are deleted then re-installed the TMS as if it was a fresh install, this usually fixed these communication issues.
I did however have a problem with the TMS configuration if the Password Parameters indicating there must be a digit is configured. I removed this parameter configured TMS then set this parameter again.

[java.rmi.MarshalException: failed to marshal setORAData(ILoracle.sql.ORAData;); nested exception is:
         java.io.NotSerializableException: oracle.jms.AQjmsTextMessage_C]

    Any thougts...
    Thanks in advance.

It is complaining about the AQjmsTextMessage not being serialized. I have seen errors with not using the actual oracle connection directly. Usually the datasource has some wrapper database connection. However, i would expect a different error. I will have to experiment with this.
