A general purpose TV tuner driver or software for SL?

I have a tv tuner card which is windows compatible and I would like to use it with my mac. this... http://entermultimedia.com/tvtuner_external_usb210U.html is the one. Is there like a general purpose tv tuner driver for mac?

supports many TV tuners, but does not list yours. Maybe yours is actually a rebranded model that is supported. You could try contacting Elgato.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I see that you are looking for Windows 8.1 version of your Validity Sensor and SimplePass software. I have included the links below but as your model doesn't have drivers I can't guarantee that they will work but they are the latest versions.

Driver without software for HP D110a?

I am looking to install the drivers to print and scan but not all the packaged software that HP provides. Any suggestions? The printer is HP Photosmart D110a and I'm running Snow Leopard.

You can only download a disk image containing all the drivers and software. However when you open the installer you may be able to select which item to install. If you don't have this option you can only install everything and then delete the additional software.

First, select your operating system Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit).
Click Submit.
Click the blue Download button.
Click Next, then follow the prompts for the HP Download and Install Assistant.

IPod isn't recognised by PC or iTunes due to "Driver Device Software"

I was installing the latest software update last night and half way through the update my PC tells me that it cannot find the correct Driver Device Software for the USB from the iPod. My iPod now just shows the picture of the USB and iTunes (the picture it shows when it is updating).
I have tried holding Home and the power buttons to reset the iPos but this hasn't worked, it still shows the usb and iTunes pictures, and when i connect it to the PC, the PC says that it cannot find the correct "Driver Device Software"
Do you know anyway i can solve this?

That depends on the operating system you have installed and the CPU\chipset your notebook has. To install the proper drivers, you will have to identify the devices that the notebook has on your own.. I certainly can't do that from afar. That is the downside of buying a notebook without an operating system. You will have to do the legwork, but we will try to guide you.

PXIe-8234 General Purpose?

I have a PXIe-1082 chassis with a spare slot. Can the PXIe-8234 be used in any slot and act as a general purpose Gigabit Ethernet interface for TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, and all that? I don't need it for it's stated use as a GigE Vision interface, I may just need additional network I/O through LabView RT and through Windows 7 (Dual boot or separate hard drives).

The PXIe-8234 can be used as a normal GigE interface. It comes with the Vision Software which aids in vision-related applications, but this will be a functioning GigE interface for your PXIe system and doesn't have to be used for vision.

Would like recommendations for a reputable recovery software for my lost photos from my external drive that I used with my MacBook Pro.

General File Recovery
If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten by using recovery software such as Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro. Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive. Two free alternatives are Disk Drill and TestDisk. Look for them and demos at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads.
The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

The master files are stored on your drive, but they are not actually stored "in" any folder. Folders are really just special files that store various bits of information about the files associated with that folder, including links to where they actually are stored. That's why you can "move" a file from one folder to another very quickly: all that you really are doing is moving the link & other info from one folder to the other folder, while the file itself stays where it was.
Because of this, it is possible for more than one folder to link to the same file -- in the Finder it looks just like there are two copies of the file, one in each folder, but there really is just the one copy. This is very similar to the way Time Machine backups look like they have multiple copies of the same unique file, one in each time-stamped backup folder, but there really is only one copy on the Time Machine drive. My guess is Apple is using hard links for this, which means the actual master files will not be deleted from the file system as long as at least one link remains to each of them.
So you should be safe in deleting the old iPhotos Library once you are absolutely sure you don't need it, but to be sure, if it was me I would make a backup just in case, or better yet just leave it alone.

Windows vista, Ipod shuffle 4th gen. Computer cannot find device driver software for ipod.

After several hours trying the troubleshooting options provided by the apple support site, I have come to what I think is the issue here. My girlfriend recently got an ipod shuffle and when plugging it into her computer the dialog pops up saying it is installing device driver software for the ipod. Eventually it asks me to insert the CD that came with the ipod. No CD came with the ipod, so I click the option that says "I do not have my cd". Then it gives me the option of searching automatically or manually for the driver software. The automatic way can't find it. Doing it manually, with the help of the troubleshooting page, didn't work either. google search can't seem to help me on this one. Also, I tried plugging the ipod into my computer (not hers) and it worked fine, it was able to install the device driver software on its own. Does anybody know the issue here? My computer has windows 7, and hers has vista. Hers is Serice Pack 1. When I tried installing service pack 2 it wouldnt work. I don't know if that is the issue though. I have tried just about everything, I think the issue is finding the device driver software. When I do a google search nothing comes up, so I have no idea what to do at this point. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Well its surprising to know that! But even have an ipod shuffle 3rd gen n dint face any problem like that. FYI no cd comes with the ipod jus take ur ipod to an apple exoert n he will solve ur problem .

You needing to be running iOS 5 or later in order to do a Software Update from the device. To run iOS 5 you need a 3G or 4G iPod Touch. So if you really have a 4G iPod Touch, connect it to iTunes and you should be prompted about an update to its version of iOS.
