A good (multilingual) Web Based FTP Client for OS X Server?

Hi,
I currently have an SFTP server running and would like to also add a Web-Based SFTP client to the server (via web services).
Does anyone know of a good Web Client that I could add to this server so that users do not have to have a standalone app (Like CyberDuck or FileZilla?)
THanks,
J

  • Reports 9i/10g J2EE Thin Client for Websphere Application Server 5.x /6.x

We are having Reports developed in 6i which needs to be migrated to Reports 9i/10G and we want to deploy these reports in web using Websphere Application Server 5.x /6.x without Oracle iAS.
Do we have Reports 9i/10g J2EE Thin Client for Websphere Application Server 5.x /6.x and if so please let me know.
Also if anybody has the configuration details please let me know?
    Thanks in Advance.

No there is not. I don't think you can use reports services with Websphere - besides as far as I know it is not supported by Oracle (not anywhere in their support matrix).

  • Good headless web-based torrent server/client solution?

I have a headless server in my attic that I'm mingling with, and one of the things I'd really like to do is get a headless torrent solution going.  Web-based would be best for portability, but I surely wouldn't mind using a GUI app either!  SSH sessions (like rtorrent) and vnc options are something I want to completely avoid.  So far, I've tried Deluge, torrentflux-b4rt, and Azureus.  Deluge is super-buggy and crashes every time I try to do anything useful.  torrentflux-b4rt is awesome, but it's a little too heavy.  When I get a few torrents going, the webui starts to stutter and lag.  Azureus is what I'm messing with now, but the webui is extremely limited.  Are there any other options out there?

I use the transmission client. Its got some bugs in it now though, but its in the repos as transmission-cli. Its pretty cool once you get past the lack of documentation. The man pages are pretty good, but thats about all you have to go on. Also, the web gui is broken in Arch.
After reading about rTorrent, I might switch...

  • Speed Oracle forms (web based) versus client server

    2 years ago we've tested forms 9i
    Everything went very smoothly:
We had no problems in converting our old forms to 9i.
We've installed a new database on a new server and we've installed a application server on a second server (Both servers had 2 CPU's and 2GB of memory).
In short everything worked perfectly ... except the speed.
Oracle forms (web based) are a lot slower than client-server forms on a LAN, so we kept developing client-server.
We just use forms on our own local network (100Mbit) but
we use a lot of triggers in our forms (perhaps the reason for the poor performance?)
    Has anything changed?
Is it now possible to use web based forms, that are at leased as fast as client server forms?

OK, I agree: changing the form (more views, less post-query, more pl/sql on database) will improve performance.
But then I have to recreate every form (> 1000), so then converting c/s to web is not just recompile.
We don't use images in our forms, the database is connected to the application server with a gigabit line. We did tests when even the client was on gigabit, but c/s remains faster. We did the test with just 1 client. and we have never experienced a bottleneck on the network using c/s (even with post-query on millions of records)
So 1 database (2 Xeon CPU's 2GB RAM), 1 App server (2 XEON CPU's, 2GB RAM) and 1 client (XEON workstation, 512MB RAM) using web forms on a gigabit network is slower than the same client using forms (c/s) without an appl. server. => A lot more hardware for less performance?
In short my question: is the latest version of forms faster than the previous version?
Can webforms have the same performance as client server?

  • I use a web based PO system for work. It should let me see an image of scanned Invoice attached, but I can't seem to be able to from my home PC (e-Finance).

    HI,
I use E-Finance as a web based application for managing company purchase orders.
It allows to drill into our Finance system and view Invoice documents that have been previously scanned.
I can do this using Internet explorer, but I don't seem to be able to in Firefox. I believe it to be linked to the Internet Security settings on the PC, but I cannot find in FIrefox similar options to those in the Advanced tab in Internet explorer.

It seems no one here is familiar with this application.
Which IE settings need to be changed? While Firefox doesn't have the same approach to security (e.g., by "zone") there may be some parallels.
In case the problem is the built-in PDF viewer introduced in Firefox 19, try the steps in this article: [[How to disable the built-in PDF viewer and use another viewer]].
    Does that make any difference?

  • FTP client for Snow Leopard?

Hi, I hope someone can help me
I am looking for an FTP client that has similar functions to that in Dreamweaver. I need to manage and build a website. The FTP program must have the ability to automatically mark files that I have edited on my computer, so that I can upload them whenever etc.
Do you know any such programs, compatible with Snow Leopard?
    Thanks!

Don't hold me to it, but I don't think you'll find an FTP client which tracks all file modifications.
Of course there is! Use [Interarchy|http://nolobe.com/interarchy>, you can set up "mirrors", where it will make a local folder and a directory on an FTP server exact mirrors of each other. Cyberduck does the same thing, though I had some problems with that when I tried it.

  • Invoking web based email client using Email button

I have developed a form using Adobe LiveCycle designer 8 which has an email button. Right now, when the email button is clicked, the form is attached as PDF to the desktop based default email client, Novell or Outlook express.
Is it possible to have the users select a email client of their choice (Hotmail, GMail etc) as most of our users are general public and are unlikely to use desktop clients.
    Appreciate your help..

How do I add multiple email clients on my machine. I navigated to Tool->Options->Programs, in Internet Explorer and in the Email field, I have Hotmail, Novell, Outlook with Novell set as default. However, when I click Submit, it is not asking me to select the email client.
Another issue: I changed my default mail client to Hotmail, however, when I submit , the "To" address is populated but the pdf is not attached to the compose message window.
    Thanks for your prompt response.

  • Web based data entry for BCS layout

    Dear Gurus,
Please advice how to enter the data using web layouts into the BCS cube. I know that we cannot simply generate the layouts from BCS workbench like we can do using BPS0 for Business planning transactional cube, but I know that BCS also has this feature available to use web for entering transaction data.
    Please advice.
    Thanks
    Abhinav

    Hi Jide,
BCS offers an own fexible upload which you could use for the non SAP companies, without BW ETL
you can create a BCS task for the BCS Monitor where you can load flatfiles.
    check: http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/52/6d973bef5cf61de10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
for the SAP companies you can use the "Load from datastream" to load data from a BW Infoprovider:
    check: http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/52/6d973bef5cf61de10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
I hope this answer is helpfull for you.

  • Can't attach files from Hard drive to my web based email clients!!

    Hey there People!!
I seriously need help with this. For the past month or so I have been having problems uploading files from my hard drive to Yahoo, Gmail and even Blogger. Each time I try uploading a file, Safari either shuts down on me completely or I get some error message that says it can't find the page or that there is a disagreement of some sort.
I have since downloaded Mozilla and I dun seem to have a problem with Mozilla like I do with Safari. I really like and prefer Safari to Mozilla and would really appreciate it if anyone can tell me how to fix this problem or perhaps what is possibly causing it???
    Seriously much appreciated everyone!
    Daryl E

    Hi there!
So sorry for not doing this earlier. Realise it would be hard to analise the situation without a proper report about it. Anyways, here's what was given to me by Safari when I can't upload anything:
Safari can’t open the page “http://photos.blogger.com/upload-image.do”. The error was: “POSIX error: Invalid argument” (NSPOSIXErrorDomain:22) Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.
Hope this helps. I will try and post the crash report as well. Thanking you in advance!!

  • Central (web based?) location for custom XMP panels

We maintain 3 custom XMP panels for a global network of photographers & DAM's. We'd like to be able to update our custom XMP panels (say add new drop down choices,) and have those immediately reflected globally. If Bridge checked a central resource (say a website) for what should be the most up to date version of an XMP panel, we would have an easier time managing the process.

Yes, the ability to subscribe to centrally-published custom XMP file info panels from CS apps would be extremely helpful, and since the CS4 panels are just XML files, a simple mechanism such as a subscription to an RSS feed would probably do the trick.

  • Web-based API tool for remote edit videos

Hello, sorry for posting in a wrong place. I'm looking for an API for remote editing uploaded video files. Our website allows to record streams to MP4 file and storage them on our servers (mostly streamed games). Now I would like to edit this videos by simply cut (start video from here, end video here) and then export new file to Youtube. I need to do that remotly, not by additions software installed on users computers. Does anyone knows API like that? Twitch.tv has that feature, and I would like to have it too on my streamspot.tv webpage
    Thanks for help

  • Looking for the best web-based replacement tool for Crystal report

    Hello everyone,
A few days ago, I installed JDeveloper and went through the tutorials posted on oracle.com and have not known all the feature yet.
In our office we provide end-users with crystal reports against our oracle database, and this fulfills their needs fairly enough but, recently, we received a request from some of remote users to use those crystal reports. So I just wanted to know whether ADF can replace a crystal report if I try to migrate them? A crystal report has rich functions. For example, I use DistinctCount(Param1, Param2) to display the number of distinct param 1s in each param 2.
Any kind of suggestion would be much appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Came across: http://www.docstoc.com/
Don't know if it works for you. There is always the thing with privacy.

  • Interoperability: WSDL-based Java client with MS SOAP server

Does anybody have the experience with a Java client communicating with Microsoft
SOAP server based on the WSDL protocol? My initial experiece shows a lot of problems.
Any information in this regard is appreciated.
    Thanks

I'm experiencing the same sort of problem too.
I downloaded Bea Web Service Broker in order to test some MS Soap-based web services
before developing some Weblogic EJBs which are to use them, since both of them
(WS Broker and Weblogic EJBs) are said to use the same underlying package of Java
classes to access any web service.
Most of the MS web services won't work with this tool. I have problems with remote
methods that have one or more parameters (the remote methods seem not to get them)
and also with some web services that raise FileNotFoundExceptions from URLs (rather
odd to me) on the Broker, despite the fact those URLs are valid.
Any hint or suggestion will be very appreciated.

  • TS2072 Remote Desktop Client for MS Windows Server 2003

I need to be able to access my work server to obtain information form our Windows 2003 Server. We have our product prices and other information on servers and today I use the remote desktop client that comes with Windows 7. I was hoping to find a suitable solution to allow me to use my macbook pro with OSX 10.7.4 Software. Does anyone know how to use OSX to make a remote desktop connection as you would through windows 7. I've seen CoRD and Microsoft did have a version but it's for older versions of OSX. I could run W7 but then I would have to purcase another copy and VM if I decided to run it virtual.
    Thanks

This is not an Apple Remote Desktop issue  - ARD is Apple's software for managing networked Macs - but CoRD and Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection for Mac should both work with Windows 2003 and both work on Mac OS X 10.7; I have used both on my systems. iTap Mobile RDP is another option, and the one I use daily since I've found it to be faster than either CoRD or Microsoft RDC, though iTap is not free.
    Regards.
