A group by field needs to appear on every page of the report.

Hi.
My rtf template has a word header which is the report descriptn that appears on evry page. The report is grouped by business unit and then grouped by job description. The problem is the business unit appears only first time when it gets changed and then it does not repeat its value until the next BU comes up. I want to display the BU on each page even though the value is same (just like as a heading of a section). I used the follwing tags. The one in bold is to solve the issue of puting the BU descr on each page. But does not work. Anybodys help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks alot Tim for spreading your expertise. That worked !!. I added the start and end body tag along with your solution of using the section with the group and it worked. Thanks alot again. However there is one prob now the page numbers are being reset and i dont want to reset it because the page numbers should continue in sequence till the end of the report despite of Business Unit change. Please any suggestion to solve this problem.

Line tool marks are appearing on every page

I received a mortgage disclosure statement that I have to sign. There is no security on the document. When I use the Line Tool to check off some of the boxes though, the lines appear on EVERY page of the document. I only need it on ONE page. I checked some of my other PDF files and this problem is not happening on those documents. I am using Acrobat 9. I would appreciate any help on this.

I'd rather not share it because it's mortgage application with lots of personal data on it. It was a PDF file E-mailed by the mortgage company to me. I have to sign a bunch of pages and return.
I guess I could print it as an image to a new PDF and then sign and comment everything that way.
I'm trying to scan all the manually signed documents now, and it is taking forever because it is so many pages.

How do I get banner & Spry Menu Bar to appear on every page?

I am a new user of Dreamweaver CS6 an a relatively new user to website development in general.
I just followed along through Davide Powers "Creating your first website" tutorial series and found it to be very helpful. I made it through all six parts and managed to get the Check Magazine sample website up and running. I now want to use what I learned to creat my own site, and I am stuck already.
The tutorial does a great job of explaining how to setup a Spry Menu Bar to use for navigation. The tutorial, however, only shows how to put this Spry Menu Bar on the main index.html page. For my actual site, I would like my navigation bar (and my banner) to appear on every one of my pages.
Can anyone here tell me where I can find instructions on the best way to do this?
My navigation requirements are very simple. I just want a common banner with navigation buttons to appear at the top of every one of my pages. The Spry Menu Bar that was created in the tutorial would work great for me assuming I can find a relatively simple way to get it (along with my banner) to appear at the top of every one of my pages.
If it is very complicated to get it to appear on every page (or would require a large time investment in learning advanced techniques), then I would consider passing on the Spry Menu Bar and trying to setup my navigation in a simpler (if more old-fashioned) way.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If a small, 4-5 page site, make a prototype page with all your columns, headers, footers, menus, etc... and go to File > SaveAs index.html, and then File > SaveAs > page1.html, and then File > SaveAs page2.html, etc...
Or you can save your prototype page as a Dreamweaver Template (.dwt file). Add editable regions for stuff that will change from page to page. Everything outside editable regions is common to all site pages. Then use your Template to spawn site pages. File > New > Page from Template, index.html, page1.html, page2.html, etc.... DW Templates are nice site management tool. But before you use them, read all you can about them in F1 Help as they can be a little tricky to master.
Last but not least, look at Server-Side Includes. They're a huge time saving feature. I use them on every site I build.

Invalid path? What are you doing? Writing the report output to an invalid directory?
Where are your terms and conditions? It would be very easy just to put them in a database table and select them in your report query.

Currently I have three pages in the form(FIRST,NEXT,LAST). For this I created one more page END.

I used NEW-PAGE END in the main window but it is not working and also I trired with CONTROL_FORM this also not working.

I open any page on Firefox and the page dimms and a box appears with number 2 and a button (ok) ,I have to press ok to continue Why does this box keep appearing on every page and site and hyow do i stop it ?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few different versions of firefox to check if this was the problem but no. As soon as firefox has started the box appears with the triangle with ! in it the number 2 and the button ,ok.

This is caused by the InternetEngine - Powering Applications! extension. If you uninstall that extension it should stop this happening.

We ave a key figure in the selection screen. And user will enter the value. based on the input, the report has to display less than or equal to the entered value as a result in the output of the report.
Input NIV as 67,169.48 then below results -
If user gives input NIV as 16,544.14 , the below output is showing.
But we need to show zero as result or no applicable data in the report. Is it possible to achieve through FORMULA.Please help on this

but this is what we may do:-
to create a formula variable and use it for user input. use this formula variable in a formula , if your NIV kf<= formula variable, then NIV KF, else, 0.
then make a condition on this KF, not equal to zero to suppress this record.

Text Box to appear on the last page of the report

Folks,
I have a report where I am using SAP BW Hierarchy in rows. So the rows may increase or decrease.
I also want to add a Text box with some Text at the end of the report.
Since Report may have many pages or one pae how can I force this box to appear at the end of the report not at the end of each page?

add a single blank cell to your report, let it display the required text and position the cell relative to the bottom edge of your main table. (Properties->Appearence->Page Layout->Relative Position)

Need Category Description on Category Page, not the Category Thumb

I am trying to add the category description to the top of the category pages themself, and not on the category image. The latter is easy, as I just omit the tag, but how do I get to talk about the category of flowers on the same page where the list it, as aside from creating pages geared for the categories themselves and dropping their respective product list themselves?
I think I just answered my own question, but if anyone has a solution the omit creating the individual pages themselves, that would be helpful.

Which is what will happen
Some will tell you to css hide it but that is not good enough. Search engines will still pick that up and being above the product - bad.
You can put it at the bottom and javascript it into an element at the top so it appears at the top but when the large product div is on a page (condition statement) then you do not do that and it is hidden at the bottom.
Still not ideal because search engines could consider you trying to fill kewwords into a hidden area.

0CO_ITEM_TX field needs to appear in the report

Hi,
I have a report which gets data from MULTI PROVIDER in turn from DSO 0CCA_O09 CO-OM-CCA: Actual - Line Items. This DSO has the field 0CO_ITEM_TX - but when I try to drag it in from dso to multi provider screen it disappears in the data fields of dso.
This Info Object is marked as attribute only and it gets errors when it is activated by unchecking the attribute only..
Please let me know how to make this field available in multi provider for reporting?

Need help figuring out how to make all images appear on every page

I user Dreamweaver MX and created this site for my church
www.ccosj.com. When I created the site I used image ready for the
ind. parts of the page. Loading them into dreamweaver and adjusting
the rollovers there (with some tutorial help since I am not that
good at it) I get the pages all to look great on my computer but
when uploading to the site, every page I click on all the images
reload and therefore the pictures constantly look as if they are
reloading. What am I doing wrong? should I take the preload script
out? Why does it look good on my computer but not on the site? Any
help would be appreciated but please know I am a novice at this.

Update it using iTunes on your computer instead of trying to do it over the air. The space requirement doesn't apply.
In addition, when doing so, you can choose download only initially, allowing you to unplug the phone and go about your day while iOS downloads. Then, when it's finished downloading, you can plug it in and update it without having to wait.
