A line has just started to appear across my iPad Air screen.

My Air is just several months old and tonight while reading an article a purplish colored line appeared across the screen. I've restarted the unit a few times to see if it would disappear, to no avail. The unit is well cared for, always in a protective cover, has not been dropped or wet. Any thoughts or advice for me short of visiting an Apple store or contacting Support? Thanks

Double tap the home button to bring up the AirPrint printing queue. You can tap on the icon to open that app and then you can cencel the print request in there.
Viewing the Print Summary
You can view the Print Summary by double-tapping the Home button and swiping to the right to reveal Printer Center. Then tap Print Center.
Note: Print Center is available only while printing is in progress.

My iPhone has just started getting the time wrong. Whether I have 'set automatically' on or off, it still sets the clock and hour ahead of the real time. If I reset it correctly, within 10m it has incorrectly reset it. It is amazingly frustrating!

It sounds like you are not able to erase just one letter when backspacing. I recommend following steps in the tutorial below to address an issue like this (you can skip step 2 "Recharge iPhone" because it's not related to this issue). I think the step to reset your iPhone my be particularly useful in this scenario:
To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Unplug any peripherals you have except your keyboard, reboot, and check activity monitor for apps. Keep running apps to a minimum to find the App causing the issue.

Though it's unlikely to be wrong if things were set up properly in the first place, as a check go to Mail Preferences>Accounts and check that the server setting for IMAP (incoming) is imap.mail.me.com (not just mail.me.com).
Your next step either way would be to go to System Preferences>iCloud and sign out, then sign back in again. (You can ignore warnings about data disappearing - your calendars etc. will disappear when you sign out but reappear when you sign back in).

Tom wants you to run Disk Utility from the install disc and then select your boot volume and then click "Repair Disk" to check and correct any directory problems. That will not erase any data files on the disc. If Disk Utility actually makes repairs, do another "Repair Disk" operation, as sometimes one repair will uncover another error. Stop when it gives the volume a clean bill of health without making any repairs. Then restart the machine and see how things work.

My ipad has just started showing 'no sim', although it has worked perfectly with a sim for over a year. I had the SIM card replaced and the new one is shown as activated and ok. Any ideas as the problem obviously lies with the ipad?

Try a reset. Press and hold the On/Off and Home buttons simultaneously until you see the Apple logo, then release. This may take up to 10 seconds. This is the equivalent of a PC re-boot and you will not lose any data.

Gray vertical lines have appeared on my iPad 2 screen. Much like an etch a sketch. What are they and is there anything that can be done about them?

Do they stay in the same place whichever way up you hold the iPad, and do they still show when you've got an app open ?
Have you tried a reset to see if they still show after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try restoring to your backup and/or resettings back to factory defaults. But you may need to contact Apple.

Hi, i just shocked when i recognized, my Ipad mini screen full of scratches, after playing Virtual table tennis app...I have a griffin hard cover, and i always keep in safe my staff, ...so I did the scratches with my neal...wich i think is abnormal, in this case....
I saw a few youtube videos and they try to make scratches with key...andsoon...

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

Please try the following…
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

I Tested it on 2 iPad air's and my old iPad 4
they play perfectly on the iPad 4 from the native photos app
i tested it with old videos and shot some new footage but nothing plays on either ipad airs

I have the same problem, except it's iTunes that won't sync with my iPad. The thing is, iTunes isn't in the iCloud on/ off syncing list on both my iPad and my MacBook air for some reason.

Just for the future on the ipad air there seems tp be a white screen glitch after a certain amount of use. it would be great if this gets fixed. thanks

I have an iPad Air and have never experienced something that I would call a " white screen glitch."
Please explain exactly what is happening on your iPad, what you might have tried to fix it and what, if any, error messages you receive.
