A little disappointed - 5 weeks before shipping
The order for my mac book pro was received by apple on oct 15. For two weeks it showed ships in 1-2 weeks. Just today when I checked the order status I get ships on NOV 21. This is nearly 5 weeks from when the order was placed.
What is frustrating is if I configure the exact same machine the apple store says ships in 3-5 business days.
Has anyone else experienced these delays?
I called apple I they did not have any answers.

I believe I read somewhere that there were shortages of that drive you ordered.
I placed a CTO order with the 250GB 7200RPM drive on Oct. 19th and received it on the 27th.
It must be a shortage of a component for the computer, or they would ship those adapters separately, if they were out of stock.
Don't feel bad. I waited 3-months for a liquid-cooled Power Mac G5.

IF it is a manufacturing defect and you bought the device from Apple or an authorized Apple retailer, then take it into Apple.

I have had my IPhone 4S for a little over a week now. My battery life was at 90% It Died, Dead, Does not work at all. Can someone tell me what in the heck is going on here. My secondary e-mail address used on my daughter's ipod can no longer work. She uses this as her imessage texting. First it needed to be verified. Once I tried to verify it on appleid support, It states, that it is already in use with another apple id. She used it for weeks before this happened.

I sold my iPhone4, and I need to restore it before shipping it. The buyer has asked that I don't install iOS6. Is this possible? Does the restore process force iOS6 onto the phone? Before I backup/restore it, it has iOS5.1.1 installed.

Bought fce 3.5 week before 4.0 release
how do i go about getting newer version of FCE without paying since i upgraded to 3.5 a week before new release. i would have waited if apple rep would have told me it was on its way.
Yes, this is a very big deal to me. ALL other software companies that I've ever dealt with provide free upgrades if you purchased within a certain period of time before the next release is cut. Apple seems to not have ever considered such a thing, because I spent over an hour on the phone bouncing between sales, support and customer service and never did get an answer.
I just forked out the money a month ago for a version that is now out of date and they want me to fork out another 100 to get up to date. That is crazy, and after all the money I've spent in the last 6 months and all the people that have purchased Macs that I've sent to them, you'd think they would at least consider how this effects me.

I think I have a solution that will at least give you a clue how to go about it. I have simplified the tables you mentioned and created them as temporary tables on my side, with some fake data to test with. I have incldued the generation of these temporary
tables for your review.
In my example I have included:
1. A customer which has purchased the same product on the same day, using the same ship 3 times,
2. Another example the same as the first but the third purchase was on a different day
3. Another example the same as the first but the third purchase was a different product
4. Another example the same as the first but the third purchase was using a different "ShipVia".
You should be able to see that by grouping on all of the columns that you wich to return, you should not need to perform any subselects.
Please let me know if I have missed any requirements.

I think you must use Restricted Key Figures and Formula.
Do not introduce CALMONTH in columns, but restrict 12 times the Key Figure Qty with 0CALMONTH3, that is 01-02-03-...
Then create a Formula that is the Sum of all Restricted KF and call it SUM.
Then copy the previous Formula (SUM) and call it AVG and give the option of Average of all Values <>0.

My question is to anyone that can help..I downloaded 2-300 photos on my iPad and want to reload a few hundred more. The last time I did this I lost the first batch of photos I loaded a week before. How do I just add without losing what is already on iPad?
You need to add the new photos to the ones that are currently on the iPad and (re-)sync them all - only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad, not including photos in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from the iPad (as you've found out).
You can use third-party apps such as Simple Transfer which can copy photos to the Photos app via your wifi network, but they will only go into the Saved Photos/Camera Roll album, and not into a 'proper' album. -

Hi,
If the machine is brand new I don't see why the serial Number is missing (it is entered on to a special chip at the factory)
However if the machine is a return and has been refurbished then the Logic/mother board may have been changed and someone forgot to put the info back to the new board.

Need to calculate one week before the user entered week

I have a ZCALWEEK object and I have created a variable on it. It is a simple 'Manual input' type of variable. We have to display a few keyfigures which will be restricted for the week value entered by the user (in variable mentioned above). Along with this we have a few keyfigures which have to be restricted for a week before i.e. user entered week -1.
I tried to use the "Set offset for variable" option, but it is grayed out. Now the solution that I see for this is to create another variable (customer exit) and calculate the previous week. However, I believe that there has to be a simpler way, in the query designer itself, of doing this i.e. without creating customer exit.

Variable offset should work in your case....
Chose the variable for the KF.... keep the offset as -1.
Otherwise we need to go for customer exit....
consider a variable x fill this by the current week or week entered... take the -1 in another variable and use it..

Just make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer, also try restarting the iPad by hold down the on/off and the home button until your see the Apple logo. As a final troubleshooting step, put your iPad in recovery mode.
