A message when exit form

Hi,
when I click the X button to exit the form (I mean the external X button - where is written "Oracle Fusion Middleware Forms Services"), I get the message: "Do you want to save changes you have made?", even when I didn't do any changes in the form (just open it, and close it ,immediately).
Why did this message show-up?

Hi Andreas,
The problem was in the property palette of the data-block.
this was a form that another developer wrote in the past, and there was a WHERE CLAUSE and a ORDERE BY CLAUSE. I erased the content from these properties, and set DATABASE DATA BLOCK to "NO", and erased also the content from QUERY DATA SOURCE NAME, correspondingly.
This query I don't need any more, thus I could to erased it, and the message finally disappeared..

Additional Information
The form was created 10 or 11 months ago, and we are pretty sure that we were able to open it a while back
The same PDF file opens just fine in Windows 8.1 using Adober Reader XI 11,0.06, it is only the app that is affected.
The document cannot be opened by any other mobile app that we have tried or on another mobile OS (iOS)
Any ideas?

The user's assertion is surprising to me, but perhaps I'm missing something important. I thought the correct position was from the conclusion of my earlier post "it can't be done". Adobe state their Reader Touch doesn't support XFA (http://blogs.adobe.com/readermobile/2012/12/13/adobe-reader-for-windows-8-tablets/). Unless (see that blog entry) you changed the type of form.

Get error message when exiting premier Pro wont save file

I am getting an error message when I exit adobe premier pro it wont save the file and the program locks up. I even uninstalled an reloaded the program CS5.5 vrs. still get the same error can anyone help?

You have not provided any system information or other technical details, so we can't know anything. Either way, ask in the Premiere Pro forum.

Check the path to your form. Forms does not like spaces in the path or fmx filename, but the error doesn't explain the problem at all!

Error Message when Copying form Library to iPod

When I try and copy music videos from the library onto to my iPod (which originated from my computer via You Tube) some are successful whilst some are not. The message I get is :
"Some of the items in the iTunes library, including "(name of music file)" were not copied to the iPod "Administrator's iPod" because they could not be found."
What is the reason for this and how do I get all of the videos to be copied across?
By the way, I also get this same message when trying to copy across music as well so if the answer covers both problems please let me know.
I also do not know what videos and music I have in the library after bringing them over from my computer. How do I check if everything on my computer now sits inside the library prior to me using the sync command?
Grateful for anyone's help in this.

if you see an beside the music/video then it will not play or sync. if the music/video does not exist in the location itunes has then it will not be able to find it.

Windows 7 displays error message when exiting +cursor issue

Two issues here. CS5 Phoshop on Wind 7 64 bit.
Physical processor count: 8
Processor speed: 3073 MHz
Built-in memory: 12279 MB
Free memory: 9577 MB
Memory available to Photoshop: 10934 MB
Memory used by Photoshop: 80 %
Image tile size: 128K
First issue is since the latest automatic Adobe update (why fix what isn't broken?) Every time I now exit Photoshop I get the message "Adobe QT Server has stoped working" and occasionally it happens when I exit bridge. Indesign is also behaving badly. I can no longer start a previous document from file manager without ID crashing out.
The other is the cursors in Clone and erase lose their edge (become invisable) for no reason - well not quite. Noise Ninja crashed Photoshop when I tried to use it. I reinstalled it and all is well. The cursor issue seems to be intermittant but came back (for no reason) after I reinstalled NN. I can't seem to change the cursor, no matter what I do. The problem is now seriously affecting how I work. Almost enough to go back to Win XP which ran CS5 Photoshop flawlessly.
Any help will be gratefully accepted.

Well, that issue is simply a matter of hitting the Caps Lock key. When Caps Lock is on, you'll see the cursor outline, and when it is off you'll see a crosshair. That's a feature, not a bug.
Glad to hear the 11.1 drivers are out. I will download them and try them now myself.
Regarding "Adobe QT" crashing... QT brings to mind QuickTime, though that is Apple, not Adobe. Do you have Apple QuickTime installed?
Regarding memory usage, with 12 GB of installed RAM, you should be able to set Photoshop to use 90% or more in Edit - Preferences - Performance.

Why do I get "The exception Privileged instruction (0xc0000096) occured in the application" error message when exiting LabVIEW 6.1?

I have created a vi that uses the LV-GPIB and database connectivity vis. The program runs fine and it ends execution by running the "Close Database Connection.vi".
After closing out my front panel windows and exiting LabVIEW 6.1, I get an error dialog box that reads the message "The exception Privileged instruction (0xc0000096) occured in the application". What does this error mean and how do I resolve it?

Hi Taf,
Given the broad scope of your application, it may be best to try and isolate the problem down by taking out parts of your application and simplifying it down as much as possible until you can get a consistent version that throws this exception. I would first try to take out either the GPIB or database connectivity portions of the application to narrow down our problem. This error generally occurs when accessing DLLs and external applications, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the GPIB or database. Let's try to see exactly which one it is and then we can dig deeper into that part of the code. Thanks for your cooperation!

Encoding error message when submitting form to REST endpoint

When submitting a stand-alone form to the REST endpoint of a process I receive the following message in Acrobat reader (translated from german):
"An error occured when submitting the form. Content of type text/plain;charset=utf-8 could not be processed"
Despite the error message the process gets started and works fine.
In terms of usability I would like to get rid of this error message since it irritates the ordinary user.
This happens only in Acrobat Reader (version is 10.1) not in Pro
My workbench version is 10.0.1

The No Content approach should work. Can you show the exact code you're using to generate the response? Did you add "#FDF" to the end of the URL for the submit form action?
If you haven't looked into it already, consider returning an FDF that causes a popup dialog to display as a way of providing feedback.

ERROR message when creating forms

hi, i am experiencing problems when i try to create a Master-Detail relationship form based on two views(The master table is a view which is a combination of 2 views joined together- and the detail table is a single view).
The error message that i receive when i try to run the form is
"cannot select ROWID from a join view
without a key-preserved table".
However, when i go back and select a Master Table or Detail Table Primary key in the Display Options page within the form (under Primary Key options), when i run this form it runs fine. But when i go to the Parameters option (in Manage Component Page) and click on the query button, the form displays the data (In Master Row Finder Results Page) but if i click on 'Edit' next to a row an error message apperas saying:
"Unexpected errors- single-row subquery returns more than 1 row"
any ideas as to what i'm doing wrong? and any solutions to the problem?

If Francois' simpler solution isn't working for you, and you want to try the close.htm route, then you need to make sure that htm file is somewhere that the browser can get to it. Because I have a few other supporting files for my app - htm pages, images etc. - I created a new dedicated folder to store them, and mapped a virtual directory by editing <ORACLE_HOME>/forms/server/forms.conf.
If you look in that file, you'll see the syntax for other virtual directories already in place, but basically you add something like:
AliasMatch ^/forms/my_new_directory/(..*) "<ORACLE_HOME>/forms/my_new_directory/$1"
... replacing the <ORACLE_HOME> with the explicit path of your apps server home.
Drop your .htm file into the new directory; ignoring Forms for a moment, make sure you can access it directly using a URL like:
http://your_server.your_company.com:7781/forms/my_new_directory/close.htm
(If you access it successfully, of course, the browser will immediately shut down!)
Then use Web.Show_Document('my_new_directory/close.htm','_self'); - hopefully that should find it.
Incidentally, I'm working in separateFrame=false. And I had thought that calling Javascript directly from Web.Show_Document() was to be avoided - see e.g. Hide adress bar for security issue On the other hand, Francois is a man who usually knows what he's talking about!

Error message when exiting RobohelpHTML

When I close RoboHelp, I receive a message stating ""Adobe
Robohelp 7 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience." I don't need to have a project open
to receive the error, and get it on every project I work on. I've
even tried creating a new project without any luck. I've been
running RH7 for months now, but recently upgraded to Office 2007. I
don't think this is the problem though because a co-worker gets the
same error message and she hasn't upgraded Office yet. This problem
just started happening out of the blue to both of us.

The fact that this has happened to two of you at the same
time and it is not project related suggests it is to do with your
setup.
Looking at RH first, is it the case that your projects are
all local (or under source control)?
If yes, then you need to speak to your IT people. My first
thoughts are that they have done something with the virus checking
program or firewall. It could also be they have made some profile
changes or permissions changes. The latter should not be an issue
with RH7 but if they have reduced your permissions, it could be
worth reinstating local admin permissions to see what happens.
Like you, I don't think the Office upgrade is the issue. With
previous versions of RH, if you upgraded Word, you did have to
uninstall RH and reinstall it. First that is no longer true and
second, as you point out, that has not happened to your colleague
and she has the problem too. Also, upgrading Word gave an error
message, not a crash like this.
Let us know how you get on.

White screen at startup, won't go on when exiting form sleep mode

Since a few months I have a game, it's called FlightGear, and it's a free game. But then I started having problems with my mac. Sometimes when I've played FG, and put my mac into sleep mode, and waked it up, is showed my desktop, could move my mouse, everything worked, but I cant open anything. And I hear a sound form inside my Mac. And when I turn my Mac off and put it back on, it only shows a white screen with the same sound. I've done checks to see if my disk was OK, and everything was fine. But this just keeps getting worse!

Two different problems. The black screen when the computer runs fine usually means that the FL inverter or the LCD screen is defective and needs to be replaced.
Not going to Sleep when the lid is closed is a setting under the Advanced settings in the Power Options you'll find in the Control Panel. With the Advanced Power Options, you can set the actions of closing the lid when using AC or battery power.
In my case, when the computer is attached to the power cord, it is also connected to a large screen monitor. In that case, I want the computer to do nothing when the lid is closed. But if I am running the computer on battery power, the LCD screen is my main screen and I do want the computer to go to sleep when I close the lid. This will save me power if I am on a plane, at a coffee shop or at a friend's.

Error FRM-41351 when exiting Forms after Forms Navigatiion

Has anyone else found a problem with inter-form processing similar to the following
The scenario:
- An Update FORM1 (fully committed), calls another update form FORM2 using designer action item 'open_form' code.
- Made a change to FORM2 data.
- Closed the FORM2 window before committing.
- We get prompted with 'QMS-00158' Do you want to save ?'.
- We select 'No'. FORM2 closes.
- Close the window for FORM1
Problem:
We are getting 'FRM-41352: Cannot navigate out of current form', then the form closes.
Note:
We do not get the error if we select 'Yes' to the QMS-00158 question, on exiting FORM2.

How about manually creating mesg folder under forms and putting the fmcus.msb file there?
