these four names are present in the doc file. Now how to read by means of java program and sort these names and write back to a new doc file?????You seem to have a sticky '?' key and an unreliable shift key (to apply an upper case letter to the start of every sentence). Please fix them.

  • Reading .txt files and put it into a TextArea

    Hi all,
I got a problem! I have to make something like a messenger.
I want to put the written text into a .txt file, after that I have to get the text out of the .txt file and put in into a TextArea.
I would ike it to to that like this:
    ">User 1
    Hello!
    >User 2
    Hi!
    Now here are my questions:
1: What is the moet easy way to do this ?
2: How could i put Enters into a .txt file with Java ?
3: How could i read all the text from the .txt file and put it into a TextArea WITH ENTERS ?
    Thanks for your help!
    Greetings, Jasper Kouwenberg

    use JTextArea.read(new FileReader(fileName)) for reading.
    and JTextArea.write(new FileWriter(fileName)) for writing.
The enters should be ok if the user press enter and adds a new line ("\n") to the text area component.
It will save the enter in the text file and load it correctly back to the text area.
If you want to add enter programmatically just add "\n" string to the text area component.

  • Need a function module to read some std. fields in service process in CIC

    Hi All,
        Process is -
    > user creating service process doc. in/from CIC (win client). SAP CRM 3.1 Version.
Under service document's interaction record there are few fields (category, priority, reason, status, result). Using FM: crm_order_read, am able to read/find category, priority & status. But am not able to read/find reason & result. Can you please help me for this which function module i need to use. Or is there any other method is there to find out.
    Sunil

    Hi Sunil,
You would find the reason data in ET_SERVICE_OS output parameter of CRM_ORDER_READ.
Go to ET_SERVICE_OS ->OSSET ->SUBJECT-> CODEGRUPPE, CODE, KURZTEXT, CODETEXT.
    Hope this helps!

  • Function module to read xml files from application server

    Hi experts,
I need to read  xml files from application server to sap. Is the any siutable function moldule for that?

    Hi Cenosure,
Donno about FM which will upload data directly to SAP, I think you have to do some mapping for it so that it will suit the SAP format. Again it depends on your requirement..
Please elaborate more about your requirement.
Please have a look on below FM
    TEXT_CONVERT_XML_TO_SAP
Also search on SCN there are many threads on the same topic available.
    http://abapreports.blogspot.com/2008/09/upload-xml-file-from-application-server.html
This is the link which will give you the Code
    http://www.geocities.com/rmtiwari/Resources/MySolutions/Dev/Codes/Report/Z_RMTIWARI_XML_TO_ABAP_46C.html
Use this XML file to Upload the same, this Program will work for your XML file also,
    http://www.geocities.com/rmtiwari/Resources/MySolutions/Dev/Codes/Report/input_xml.xml
    See the below thread also
Upload XML to internal table and vice versa in SAP 4.6C
Hope it will solve your problem..

  • Function moduls to create csv-file and send it per mail

    Hello,
    we have the following requirement.
    We created an eventhandler.
Inside this eventhandler we built up an internal table with 1-n entries.
Now we want to create a csv-file or excel-file in background and send it to the users mailadress.
Are there standard function modules which we can use for this requirement.
We can´t download the file directly to the users client with cl_gui_frontend_services because we are not in SAP GUI but in CRM Webclient UI.
    Thank you
    Best regards
    Manfred

    hello,
    thank you.
a coding example would be very helpfull.
the internal table shall be added as csv-attachment to the mail and the recipient shall be the current user.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Kind regards
    Manfred

  • Read multiple files and save all into one output file(AGAIN)

    Hi, guys
I need your help for reading data from multiple files and save the results into one output file. When files are selected from file chooser, my program read the data line by line , do some calculations and save the result into the output. I made an array to store input files and it seems to be working fine, but when it comes to SaveFile() function, issues NullPointException message.

    Sorry about the long lines.
As you can see, all input files saved in array called files, however when OpenFile1() function is called, it take input (fileName_in) as a single file not an array. I'm assuming this causes the exception.
When there's muptiple inputs, program should take each file from getFileName() to outputToFile() sequentially.
Does anybody have an idea to solve this?
    Thanks a lot!!

you naming convention is confussing. you should follows Java naming convention..you have a getXXX but decalred the return type as "void"...get usully means to return something...
your code is doing too much..and hard to follows..
    1. get the selected files
    for each selected file
process the file and return the result
    write out the result.

  • Read a file and insert rows into table

    Hi,
i would like to know how read a file (expl.txt) with the utl_file package and after insert each row into the table (dataID).
    ie :
    file /tmp/expl.txt is containing :
    id1 id2 describe
    2 3 test1

    Thanks you very much.

    Hello,
You can use the TEXT_IO package.
Perform an over-all search (right upper corner) on TEXT_IO, and in the results you will find a manual on how to use the package.
    Hope this will help you.
