A new partner function is been defined for a particular customer in r/3?

Hi All,
There is a new partner functions been defined for a customer apart from soldto,shipto,payer,billtoparty partner functions.
The new partner functions is Sales head.
And how to i bring the sales head information from the customer master from r/3 to bw?
Do i need to create a new zobject nor enhance the customer master ? nor simply create an sales head object in bw and define the characteristics as Reference characteristics??

Hi,
You should enhance the standard Data source 0customer_attr with that additional partner function (sales head) as per the proper logic and replicate the same . if it is 3.5 that same object( related to that field length and data type) same object can be added as attribute at info object level and do the transfer rules   and activate that and try to the load.

    Partner function
    Specify an alphanumeric key which can have up to 2 characters and a description for a partner function.
    Partner type
    The partner type is an indicator which informs you of the type of partner, for example, partner type customer "KU".
    Currently, you cannot change the partner types in customizing. You canonly select the partner types that are included in the standard SAP R/3 System.
    Error group
    Using the error group, you assign an incompletion procedure to a partner function (see section "Incompletion log").
    Higher-level function
    For a partner function, you can specify the higher-level partner
    function. In this way, you can portray an existing dependency between the partner functions.
    Unique in customer master record
    If you characterize a partner function as unique, you can specify it only once in the customer master record.
    The sold-to party has to be unique in the customer master record whereas you may specify several contact persons.
    Customer hierarchy type
    In this field you can specify whether a partner function can be used for a customer hierarchy. Enter the customer hierarchy type permitted
    for the partner function. Refer to the section "Define hierarchy types
    and assign to account groups".
    Convert functions
    If you work with several languages in the sales and distribution
    system, you can carry out a language-dependent function conversion.
    This means you can display the internal key definition, for example, AG, WE, and so on, differently on the screen depending on the logon language of the user. For example, you can display the key CU as AG when logged on in German. (The conversion is necessary because the partner functions such as AG, WE are partially hardcoded in the programs.)

  • Creation of new partner function for VENDOR

    Hi,
    I've a requirement to create some Partner functions for vendors while creation of vendor. Some Partner functions are available by default and some we need to add. but while doing a BDC we are not able to find how many of them are available or where to put the new Partner function?
    Please let me know, if there is any BAPI availble..

    in note 874267 is described how to implemention new partner function in datasource 0CRM_SRV_IBASE_ATTR. But i doesnt know how get the structure iba_partner in the badi. Is there are function modul simulare like CRM_BADI_GET_BDOC.

    SMQ1 will only show an entry, when there are available data for the delta queue, i.e. someone has made a change or added new data.So checking RSA7 and SMQ1 will give the same result, if RSA7 shows more than 0 entries.
    The problem may be the init. What init did you do: an init with data, or an init without data, or an init with a filter. Experience with our CRM system tells me, best way to initialize any CRM data is to do a full data init (without filter) or a init without data (without filter). I wonder about the FULL load you mentioned ? When did you do it ?

  • Partner function should be  mandatory  for a perticular sales org

    We have a requirement to make Sales representative assignment to the sold-to-party  mandatory , during order creation ( for a particular sale org)  . We  have to generate incompletion log for all the orders where this partner function is missing in the header data . Please throw some light on how to do this.

    I don't think it is possible sales organisation wise
    But you can have this requirement sales document type wise or item category wise or Customer account group wise through maintaining the check mark for sales employee partner function in the Mandatory check box at partner functions in procedure step in the partner dtermination.
    Because partner functions maintained in the prtner procedure that procedure will assigned at these levels.
    Customer Master
    Sales Document Header
    Sales Document Item
    Delivery
    Shipment
    Billing Header
    Billing Item
    You can do like this
    You define different customer account group for that sales organisation
    Define new Partner determination procedure through copying existing standard one
    You activate mandatory check for sales employee partner function in that new prtner determination procedure.
    You assign this new procedure to the account group which is sales organisation specific.
    Now you create customer master data with that account group in that specific sales org now system will give the error message if don't maintain the sales employee in that customer master data>sales area data>partner functions tab.
    Before going to create customer master you create Sales employee master throuh VPE1 transaction.
    Still not satisfied
    Try with these User Exits with help of ABAPer
    User Exits for Partner Determination
    Partner determination contains the following user exits for your use:
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_001
    You can use this user exit to control whether an address that was entered manually and has already been used in other documents (referenced), should be referenced again if it changes or whether a new address shold be created (duplicated).
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_002
    Call up this user exit if a customer has not been maintained in the current sales area.
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_003
    Use this user exit to control the origin of partners in the partner determination procedure (origin X, Y or Z). If X, Y, or Z has been entered in the Origin field, this user exit is automatically called up during partner determination.
    EXIT_SAPLV09A_004
    Use this user exit to integrate your own check in a program, that runs before the partner is saved in the document.
    For more detailed information, see the program documentation for each ofthe user exits.

  • Output type config error:No communication data has been defined for transmi

    Hi Gurus,
    i have copied an existing output type ZOCT to ZORD . when i change the sales order the output is automatically triggered but is not processed successfully instead it is in red. when i see the processing log i could see the error below.
      green Object 0000000133                                        
      green Output type: UK Sales Order                              
      green  Processing log for program RSNASTED routine ALE_PROCESSING
       RED   No partner profiles (message control) maintained         
    I tried adding communication data in VV11 but i get the below error.
    No communication data has been defined for transmission medium A
    Message no. VK603.
    I am using ordrsp and orders05 in partner profiles and in message control tab i am giving
    V1 ZORD SD10 values.
    Please suggest me to correct these errors. Your help is much appreciated.Thanks.

    Thanks a lot for your inputs. I have debugged the program rsnasted at routines and in EDP12 there were repeated entries .
    So i deleted all the partner profiles and created and generated them agian.
    I have also missed to maintain SP partner function in output type partner functions. I do not see any errors now.

  • Using specifc partner function as access field for pricing

    Hi all,
    i am planning to add a specific partner function as an access field in combination with the material with which i will maintain the condition record & i want this condition record to be fetched for my respective condition type.
    i did the following, i still dont get the value.
    copied the new field in the KOMK table (structure & activated it),  assigned it to the relevant access sequence & hence to the condition type, i still dont get the condition record value ( condition record is a valid one too).
    what am i missing here?

    Go to Sales Order - Item Detals - Condition Tab & Click on "Analysis". Here check the Accesses & whether system has found the Condition Record.
    Also, as mentioned by Ankur above, most probably the new Partner Function or either of the Accesses will not be prosent in Sales Order.

  • Add new partner function as a characteristic in structure PAPARTNER

    Hello experts,
    I have create 2 new partner functions (Z) in SD and have assinged in customer master. I need these 2 custom partner functions to be transfered to CO-PA during billing. I have followed OSS Notes 12682, 36557 and 36406.
    I Have define 2 new domain/data elements in the new partner functions (ZFPZ1 and ZFPZ3) and have assign it in structure MCPARTUSR to the new partner fields (PPARTZ1 and PPARTZ3).
    However when trying to add this new fields to the profitability analysis data structures using transaction KEA0, from the structure PAPARTNER, the new partner fields do not appear.
    Can anyone tell me what is missing?

    normally it should work fine if you followed SAPNET note 36557 + corresponding. If it is freight cost where the problem occurs, see SAPNET note 411032. See also 93658, maybe thats helpful.

  • Adding a new partner function in va01 has to differ in item wise

    Hi all
    here by adding a new partner function by item level in va01
    i hav a z partner table , that has some values , each values differ from item level
    for eg : item 1 (posnr) 10 , has a new partner called buyers1
    posnr 20 has buyers 2
    what i am facing probs is , i cannot append into table xvbpa (using a program mv45afzz) & form save_docu_prepare.
    xvbpa table item is not storing
    partne rwill come default from the customization , but my partner will be add depends on item / material .
    i have tested a scenario for eg . when i creating a orders , as soon as entered a dealer , the default parner will be setting , then i entered manually a new partner , then it is reflecting in a table with item
    customization partner doesn't hve a  item , where as while creating when i put manually it is reflecting in item level .
    and 1 more things , when i try to append it also , its is reflecting to all item in orders
    tel me how to refresh the new partner item wise , that also O.K

    Dear consultant,
    By mistake from our user had deactivated Depreciation Area in T-code AS92 for Auc asset 1200005 please suggest
    How can we activate Deprecation  area ?
    Because We already settled 350 line item in same asset and still 150 item we have to settle from this asset.
    The  problem is if I  run any T-code related that asset getting error
    No depreciation areas have been defined for asset 1200005-0
    Message no. AA025
    one more thing i want to tell you that this happend only for one asset not for entire asset class I check in IMG Setting is ok for asset class.

    I tried doing this but I got an error:
    Depreciation area 01, which you want to create as a new depreciation area in chart of depreciation TTHI, has no depreciation area defined for value takeover. This may be be correct for normal operation, however for the purposes of creating a new depreciation in the productive system, you have to enter a depreciation area whose values are used as base values for the new area.
    Do you have another solution for this?
    I hope anybody can help me on this issue.

    We have applied support pack SAPKH47022 as per SAP recommendation.
    Now when we are creating sale order its giving a Warning Message as "Partner Function YS not defined" we can neglect the message and can go forward, but we have some customisations and some BDC's which are developed based on the prior developments.How to rectify this error?

  • Order type 'OR' has not been defined for sales area (IDOC related)

    iam getting the status error as order type 'OR' has not been defined for sales area for ORDERS inbound idoc(it's in status 51),i looked at EDPAR(voe4) table and edsdc(voe2) tables,  the sales area has been defined, i don't know why iam still getting this error. please let me know if anyone have any idea or faced any kind of this problem.

    I believe this is nothing to do with the setting the IDOC value..Some config is missing...
    Check to make sure if there is a record found in the view V_TVAKZ for the combination..
    IF not check with your function consultant regarding this..

  • No Project IMG has been defined for Starting Reference IMG  SOLMAN ERROR

                 I created a off release project in prodcution and assigned logical compenents. When I am trying to create a IMG object for SPRO it is showing an error stating that "No Project IMG has been defined for Starting Reference IMG ". when I click Ok button it is showing another message ""Screen output without connection to user.". I Verified in project administration(solar_project_admin)> System Landscape>IMG projects, status for distributing IMG projects to component systems is showing in Red color. No IMG projects have been distributed into the system.
              RFC connections are showing are correctly. I am not able to find the problem and solution. Could any one help me to figureout the problem and what needs to be done

  • No Project IMG has been defined for "logical compt". Starting Reference IMG

    I have my logical component setup, and have my DEV system added. I have the BPH setup, and is trying to do configuration. when i select an IMG and click on "configure" i am getting the following error, but it takes me to the IMG
    Error:
    "No Project IMG has been defined for Z_LOGIC_COMPT. Starting Reference IMG"
    I went and checked in solar_project_admin, system landscape/project/IMG. Selected the development system from the "system role for IMG projects". I can see it in RED. How can i generate this? I guess its because of this, am getting the error above
