A nice Easy one about my Zen

Folks,
All I am looking to find out is how I manage to put my files on to my memory card via my pc.
When im currently transfering files it only shows me to add it to my Zen, not memory card.
Only way I so far have been able to do it is via the Memory card - Removable Disk option on the Zen itself.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Alzabra,
Welcome to Creative forums!
Here's a KB article about transfering files to and from your SD card. Hope this hel

  • Ok. quick and easy question about my Zen Vision

    i'm thinking that my zen can no longer have anything added to it, although there is about 5 gbs worth of space left. it sucks has sucked for a while, but i'm trying to get over it.
    my brother noticed that in the bottom of it, the part where it connects so you can make transfers and stuff, is bent. i tried unbending it but that didn't work.
    and when i connect it to my comp, it says "overload" and my comp freezes for a bit.
    so that's a sign to get another mp3 player right? it's a shame that this happened. he thinks i was too rough with it.
    i admit that i have spent some time pushing it in when it wasn't properly fitting. but i didn't "see" it then. now looking back, i kinda laugh.
    btw, there are no shops around here to repair the bend to the best of my knowledge..actually, maybe Weiss Hardware...just maybe.

    Yes. LOL You word it so much nicer!
    lol...
    if customer support actually does help, for a nice price, you will be -my new saviour-!
    (My music is literally my life.)
    OK. I checked there. They have an option of support (while the warranty is still good) and another option (that's non-technical).
    I got my first Zen Vision (30 GB) March 2007. Then a replacement (this one) in May 2007. Is it still covered? I have my doubts. :P?

  • Nice easy one! Laymans explanation of VI

    I am in the process of writing a report and need a couple of sentances telling the reader what a VI is. At the moment i have the following text - To author the software within LabVIEW the programmer assembles block diagrams using logically related components resulting in a virtual instrument (or VI). VIs are self-contained programs that can be integrated into an overall software suite.
    I think this is a pretty accurate description but my proof readers dont seem to like it! Does anyone have a nice basic desription of what VIs are or your thoughts would be appreciated on the matter.

    How about this...
    "In Labview, you build a user interfaceby using a set of tools and objects. The user interface is known as the front panel. You then add code using graphical representations of functions to control the front panel objects. The block diagram contains this code. If organised properly, the block diagram resembles a flow chart."
    The UI & block diagram together form a VI (Virtual Instrument) that may be recursively used in other VI's to build complete applications.
    (the part in quotes is a direct copy from the NI 'getting started with Labview' manual

  • A nice easy one...

    This must be something that people do all the time but I'm having a bit of trouble with it.
    How do you change the way the data tables look?
    I've found topics about setting column widths but can't find out how you get rid of that bar along the top.
    Thanks for any suggestions!
    Emma

    Thanks for that.
    I've tried that. I've also tried removing the background image styles from the css (master_css.css - in the project AND in creator2...rave2.0...modules...ext..) I did this by unpacking the defaulttheme.jar and editing files and re-archiving it to replace the original defaulttheme.jar.
    Nothing I do seems to make any difference....funny how the smallest things hold you up the longest somtimes.
    Thanks again,
    Emma

  • An easy one about photos

    I thought I'd just see if I can get this answered quickly. I'm just starting to use iWeb yesterday for a few minutes, and I can't figure out how to get rid of the pictures that were put on as an example. I'm working on doing other things but thought I might just ask here to make it easier.

    My face turns red at how easy that was.
    Hey I was just at your web site titled iWeb. I just glanced at it though, but I recognized your handle. Like if I can't figure out how to replace pictures, how am I going to use the scripts you wrote.
    OK I can see how replacing the pictures work. But what if I post that funny picture I have of my wife, and she threatens to leave me if I don't remove it right now. Can I only replace it with another, is there no way to just remove a picture. Just another thought, thanks for the advice, and thanks for your web site with advice for if I ever get that advanced.

  • I have a mac book pro that both USB ports have stopped working one about a year ago and one recently. Is it possible to connect to another one of the other MBP's  ports with a cord that ends with a USB port?

    I have a mac book pro that both USB ports have stopped working one about a year ago and one recently. Is it possible to connect to another one of the other MBP's  ports with a cord that ends with a USB port?

    Thank you For your time and thoughts!
    I went by the Apple Store and they told me that there was a "Flat Rate" repair service for this particular part where they would replace the logic board along with the USB ports for $350. Seems like best avenue. All of this would have been moot but my wifi in the computer also doesn't work so I was using my phone as a hot spot and tethering it to the computer for Internet access when the last port quit. This left me with no internet and no printing capabilities on the computer I use for my business. Basically became a nice paperweight. lol
    They will ship it off Monday and I should have it back Thursday!
    Again, thank you!

  • How can I contact or talk to some one about my bill

    How can I contact or talk to some one about my billing, there are charges on my cc that I no nothing about can someone help me please.

    Check your iTunes Store Purchase History (and that of any other AppleIDs which may have your CC linked... Partner / Child / Old AppleID accounts). Use iTunes Store & Mac App Store: Seeing your Purchase History and Order Numbers and a computer with iTunes installed (you can't see this info through the iTunes or App Store Apps on an iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch).
    If the purchases are there in the Purchase History and you or a family member recognise them then it's up to you if you request a refund for accidental purchases via Email using http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ or accept the charges.
    If however you find them but know it's not something you or someone else authorised to use the AppleID have bought, use the iForgot Website to reset your password, then go to the AppleID Website, sign in to Manage Your Apple ID then go to the Password and Security link on the left to change Security Questions then call AppleCare (0844 209 0611) to speak to iTunes Store Fraud as someone has hacked your AppleID. If you can find no record of the amounts which have come off the CC, call the Bank or Credit Card company and have them block the card and issue a new one as the details have been registered with another AppleID without your knowledge, THEN get in touch with AppleCare and speak to iTunes Store Fraud for a refund of the fraudulent purchases.

  • Getting redirect to work  -- easy one?

    Hopefully this is an easy one for someone to answer -- I'm simply trying to set up an action-mapping that performs a redirect instead of a forward. If I use the following xml in struts-config.xml (I'm using struts-faces), then everything "works":
    <action
    path="/search"
    type="com.wheels.struts.SearchAction"
    name="searchForm"
    scope="request"
    input="search">
    <forward
    name="results"
    path="faces/results.jsp"
    />
    </action>
    I get an error if I change the forward to be a redirect, however, as in:
    <action
    path="/search"
    type="com.wheels.struts.SearchAction"
    name="searchForm"
    scope="request"
    input="search">
    <forward
    name="results"
    path="faces/results.jsp"
    redirect="true"
    />
    </action>
    The error I get is:
    java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot forward after response has been committed
    Any thoughts on this one? Is there something I need to change in my Action class to properly redirect instead of forward? Something in struts-config.xml??
    Thanks very much.

    I would agree this is probably an easy one, but only on the STRUTS-USER mailing list :-). To subscribe, send an empty message to [email protected] Alternatively, you can find links to various archive sites for previous postings on this list at:

  • Hopefully this is an easy one

    Hopefully this is an easy one. how do you disable timed slide advance in Captivet 3? I have not been able to find it anywhere. Thanks

    Welcome to the all volunteer Captivate forum.  Several options.
    - Add <Back and Next> buttons on each slide manually
    - Place click boxes on the screen.  This is a neat way to do it because the click box can be the entire screen with a 100% transparency.  However, users must know to click the screen to advance and then there is no <Back or rewind type option
    - Correct interactions can be added with click boxes.  Use Captions to ask the user to do something and when they click the right place, the series advances.
    Hope this helps a bit.

  • A REAL easy one-display 10

    Greetings;
    This should be an easy one, just one that is driving me crazy.
    I have 10 instances from 2 tables displayed on a form. The first field is to enter a stock number, the second field looks up the description in a reference table. This works fine in the first row, but, when a stock number is entered in the second row, instead of entering a description in the second row, the description in the first row is "updated". Please, what am I missing??

    I'm not sure I got it right.
    Does that mean you have 2 data blocks? If so, it's quite clear that, when being in the first block and refferencing the items in the second, that would have effect on the record that is current in the second block, that, in your case happens to be the first record.
    If it is like I imagine, then you should put both fields (including the refferenced one(s)) in the same data block with a data source set as the table you update, but have the refferenced field(s) set as non-database item. The refferenced field(s) are to be populated through a select in the post-query trigger on the given block, or, eventually in when-validate-item.
    Sorry, but if this can't help you, you should study more and especially be more specific in what you ask.

  • Id like to know a phone number i can call to speak with some one about my account

    id like to know a phone number I can call to speak to some one about my account

    Hi Meg,
    Here are the steps that will help you access a direct-call number for Adobe Support:
    Start by selecting the following link Contact Customer Care
    In the top-right corner, click Sign In, and use the Adobe ID and password associated with your account.
    Once you have logged in:
    In the list select the product for which you want support, e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud
    Select the sub-topics until you can't drill down further. If the links don't provide any help, than ultimately click on still need help - Contact Us. A bright blue button at the bottom of the page.
    At that stage your window will expand and display three support options:
    Chat
    Phone
    Forums
    To get a phone number to call:
    click Phone, the phone number will now display that you can call for support.
    Good luck, I hope any issues with your account are sorted out promptly.

  • Easy one for someone, I hope

    This is probably an easy one for someone:
    I have a simple password function in a child movie and am
    using the standard code to activate the enter key
    on (release, keyPress "<Enter>") {
    It works fine on it's own, but doesn't work when it's loaded
    into the parent movie. What's the solution?

  • Nice Pictures & Videos for my ZEN V Pl

    Hello everybody,
    can somebody tell me where i can get nice pictures & videos for my zen v plus?
    Big Thanks!

    What version of Windows have you got?
    If Vista, it should just work.
    If XP, you need to make sure the SP2 patch has been installed:
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx
    Then install Windows Media Player :
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player//default.aspx
    That should make sure the MTP driver is installed.
    You should be able to access your player in Windows Explorer under 'My Computer', or in Windows Media Player (but be careful of synchronisation - it can synchronise you full player to your empty My Music directory...)
    You don't need to install the Creative software, but it should work if you do.
