A note including an URL (Acrobat 7.0 Pro)

Hi!
I will need to include an URL into a Note/Post-it (I dont now the english name, sorry). Does someone knows the tip to make it? I use Acobat 7.0 Pro.
Thanks!

You may get a few responses. A few have apparently been successful with AA7 and VISTA, but I am not sure of the stability of such installations. You might want to provide a few more details of what you have run into, installation process, and such, so that they might answer. I think your data may be adequate, but if you have more it would help. The upgrade is likely a good idea in any case.

  • Saving PDF as JPG does not include form details - Acrobat X Pro 10.1.11

I've created a PDF document out of a jpeg, and added text fields to the PDF. When I save the PDF as a JPG, the background image shows, but no form fields. I've tried recreating the document from scratch, but receive the same results. This just started happening on the last document I created last week and now persists. I've changed none of my normal default settings, and I'm completely stumped. I've been at this for hours and can't seem to find anything online, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unless something is happening automatically, I'm not flattening before I save as JPG. Here is a file I made a few years ago that works the way I've always used it: https://s3.amazonaws.com/flirtylive/dance-of-life--large-editable-field.pdf
For the above PDF, all I do is fill in form, Save as JPG, and all info is in the text field when I view the JPG

  • What can I do to make sure all my information (Notes Included) transfers to my new MacBook Pro when connecting for the first time?

I am about to connecting my Iphone to my new Macbook Pro for the first time. I just want to make sure that all my information: contacts, messages, notes, everything will still be on my phone. I just dont want to connect then find out I lost everything on my phone.
Help! I am really bad with technology...

When you first sync with a new iTunes library iTunes will delete any iTunes media from your phone and replace it with the media in the library being synced with.  iTunes media includes things like apps, music, movies, tv shows, podcasts, books, custom ringtones and photos synced to your phone from a computer.  If you are also syncing your contacts and calendars with your computer it will replace the ones on your phone with those on your computer.  If your iTunes library, contacts, calendars and iPhoto are all empty, you will end up with all of these being empty on your phone.
To preserve these you need to follow the steps in the linked article.  This will transfer purchased media from your phone to your iTunes library and transfer contacts and calendar entries to your Mac.  As discussed in the guide, it will not transfer music not purchased from the iTunes store (which can only be done using 3rd party software such as the ones discussed) or photos synced to your phone from another computer (which can be transferred to your computer using an app like PhotoSync).  These will need to done first or you will lose them, as discussed in the guide.

  • Why is remote control not included with the purchase of macbook pro

I purchased my 4th macbook pro (late 2013) to replace my 2010model, and to my surprise, there was no remote control included anymore. I don't know since when this started. But I just don't get that, why Apple has to cut corner on such expensive laptops with a price tag close to 3000usd(after tax). I have purchased three macbook pro before including the 2010 model. I found no remote control to be a big disappointment. I am not asking Apple to make anything cheap. But they should have treated generous customers with generosity.

    Follow this;
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH7234
Will allow you to disable the IR receiver on the Mac so the remote does not control it.

  • The content menu in my Acrobat X Standard does not include the "multimedia" selection??

What am I missing?  The Adobe Classroom In A Book clearly refers to it...

    Hi,
I am sorry to hear that you're having trouble in locating 'Multimedia' tools in Acrobat.
Acrobat X Standard does not include most of the interactive object tools. You need to use Acrobat X Pro for those features. Kindly check the comparison matrix at:

No. You have to purchase LCD separately now.

  • Why is Acrobat XI not Included in Creative Suite CS6?

Our company has just purchased Creative Suite CS6, eLearning Suite CS6, & multiple copies of the Technical Communications Suite V4 (just released). None of these expensive packages include the new Acrobat XI, not even the Std version. In addition, PhotoShop has been removed from TCS V4, where it belongs. I see this as a callous marketing policy by Adobe to force companies to buy multiple product suites, or at least extra (expensive) essential programs (or be stuck with legacy programs). Even the so-called Master Suite CS6 does not include items in TCS. When you add the incredible cost of EU versions of Adobe products wrt to US prices, it is no wonder that customers are moving away from Adobe, or at least not upgrading as often as they used to.

    Good day gzhtub,
Acrobat XI was announced today, but still hasn't shipped.  The ship date is still a few weeks out.  That said, CS6 will not include Acrobat XI.  However, Creative Cloud subscribers will have access to Acrobat XI if they would like to install it.  Per the Acrobat XI FAQ:
Which version of Acrobat is available in the Adobe Creative Suite® editions?
Creative Suite 6 and CS5.5 editions include Acrobat X Pro. Acrobat XI Pro is available through Adobe Creative Cloud™, which provides access to the latest versions of Creative Suite applications on a membership basis.
I can understand your concerns as it relates to the TCS products and the Master Collection.  The best way to influence change on that front is to provide feedback directly to the product teams via the Feature Request form.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

  • Acrobat 7 not included with Creative Suite 2 downloads?

    Hey Jeff,
thanks for your reply, but I told not the whole truth
We have some CS2 Premium (for Mac) here and want to reinstall them, we've got no single Acrobat 7 here. If I want to reinstall the whole CS2 Premium or a part of it from our old installation media, I receive the message, that the activation server is unvavailable. When I use the three published DMG-Files to install CS2, there is no Acrobat 7 in it.
Is there any possibility to get Acrobat 7 for Mac as a single download-version or CS2 Premium instead of CS2 Standard?
    Thanks

Ok well I have confirmed that the Mac version of Acrobat 7 does not include activation technology.  Please install Acrobat 7 from your original installation media.
If you don't have a separate serial number then Acrobat will need to be licensed by one of the point products.  So please customize the install to include both Acrobat and Photoshop for example.  You will then need to launch Photoshop once, tell it to activate later, and then you should be able to run Acrobat successfully.  You can then remove the copy of Photoshop and install from the new volume license software which is available at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l.

  • When installing acrobat XI pro the 'select a product' drop down menu does not include my product?

when installing acrobat XI pro the 'select a product' drop down menu does not include my product?

For future reference... if you have the trial version installed and plan to buy it after trying it out, there is no need to uninstall it.  It can be activted to full use with the serial number from your purchase.
You should still be able to download and install the trial version and use your serial number to activate it.  For the direct download link to the trial below, be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site or else the download will not work properly.

I have Adobe Acrobat XI (ver 11.0.07).  Adobe Help instructs me to find the document comparison command at "View > Compare Documents," however, this command does exist on my screen. My View drop-down list does not include a command for Compare Documents.  Where else can I find this command?

What version of Acrobat do you have? This feature is only available in the Pro version, not in the Standard version.

  • When I re-installed CS2 (Mac), it did not include Acrobat 7

I recently had to re-install my CS2. I phoned Adobe Support and gave them with the email address I used when purchasing. They provided a link to CS2 downloads. On the list of downloads, it included the option to download the bundled CS2 as well as the option to download apps individually. I noticed that some individual applications (like Acrobat) were only listed for Win -- not for Mac. But my CS2 used to include Acrobat. I was hoping that when I downloaded the bundled CS2 that Acrobat would still be included, but it was not.
I followed the instructions exactly, downloading all discs. Disc 1 included the "Adobe Installer" app and a separate folder for Reader 7. But no folder for Acrobat 7. The instructions said to click Disc 1's "Adobe Installer". here were no instructions to do anything with "Disc 2" and "Disc 3". Both discs also include the same "Adobe Installer" app on Disc 1.
    I ended up with:
    Bridge
    Illustrator
    InDesign
    Photoshop
    Reader 7
    Version Cue
    But no Acrobat 7.
Is there a way to download Acrobat 7 separately?

    i don't think they are.
if you have acrobat 8 it might have been an upgrade (purchased with its own serial number), but not an update to acrobat 7.
if that's acrobat 8 standard and if you purchased from adobe, check your order history, https://www.adobe.com/account.html
if you acquired via dell, http://www.dell.com/support/contents/us/en/19/category/Product-Support /Self-support-Knowledgebase/software-and-downloads
otherwise, you need to contact the vendor for the installation file(s).
if that's acrobat 8 pro and if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here: http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html
and activate with your serial number.  (for help finding your serial number, if not purchased from adobe, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html)
if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com

  • Creative Suite 6 Design Standard not including Acrobat X Pro

I just purchased a CS6 Design Standard TLP license but after installed it didn't install Acrobat X Pro, after that I tried to install it separately but I can't find the serial number in LWS.   How can I install Acrobat X Pro separately.  I did asked Adobe technical support about the serial number but they said Acrobat X Pro is not including in CS6 Design Standard.  But I search online and many websites shows that CS6 Design Standard include Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat X Pro, Bridge, Media Encoder.  Is anyone can help me?  Thanks.

    Thank you Murphy.
I tried to uninstall and re-install again, this time Acrobat X Pro options came out but install unsuccessful.

After an upgrade of acrobat reader 9 to acrobat reader 11 the automatic printing of a pdf. The pdf is opened, but the print does not happen. With acrobat reader 9 it works. But with acrobat reader 11 the printing does not happen.

  • Saved pdf file does not include filled in text

i am using adobe acrobat pro; trail version.  I can fill in a fillable pdf file but after saving the file and then emailing the filethe received email attachment does not include my text included in the pdf form?

It most likely does include it in the form, but the PDF viewer that's being used does not display it. If the user were to use Adobe Reader/Acrobat, the form data should appear as expected. The default PDF viewer that mobile devices and some browsers use don't have sufficient support for forms.
If the recipient does not need to interact with the form fields, you can flatten the form before sending it out. This converts the form field appearances to regular page content, so it will very likely appear fine in most any PDF viewer. Post again if you need help flattening form fields using Acrobat.
