A note on DDR400 and the 648 (help!)

OK, after my struggle with bad IDE cables, I tried to install XP. Ran into "file corrupted" and/or "file missing" errors. (Error Number 7, also).
After viewing some posts on this forum, I set the CPU/RAM ratio to be 167Mhz (333).
Now XP is installing as I write.
I spent some good cash for 2 256MB Mushkin PC3200 sticks and they don't work at 400Mhz.
I thought Mushkin was on a level of Corsair and other expensive RAM?
My question is, I'm new to this, so what other RAM settings should I change?
Since I'm going to run at 333Mhz, should I set it to CAS 2?
Could someone recommend correct settings for the 648, please.

Your RAM is probably fine. The 648 chipset is pretty picky when it comes to DDR400. They do have a list of compatible DDR400 on MSI's website. As far as I know, if they're on the list, they work(?). Get memtest86. Set the BIOS settings to the fastest you can without getting errors on memtest86. If it will run at CAS2 without errors(probably will), that's probably the way to go. I haven't seen any posts in this forum where someone has come up with definitive settings that will make all DDR400 work.
Hope it all works! Some people have been having problems with the Radeon 9700 with this board also.(Actually most 648 boards from most motherboard manufacturers, not just MSI)
I've had few problems with mine, but then I have DDR333 and an NVidia AGP4X card.

Contact Apple through iTunes Store Support, and explain that you have forgotten your 3 security questions, that you can reset your password, but doing so doesn't reset your security questions.

I'm going to assume that since you deleted your hard drive and all its files, you had a backup, yes? If the backup has an OS (bootable clone), then you can boot into it by holding down the option key when you start up you iMac and choose the backup drive. Then use Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper to copy the files back to your iMac.

Select the file with one click, then go to File in the menu bar and select Compress...
By the way Niel's post says control - click. This means click with the control key held down. It produces the same result as going to File in the menu bar and selecting Compress... -
pdf could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences. This is what I get when I preview a PDF fillable form in FF. It loads Ok w/Explorer. It is a new site being developed so there is no url. My software tech says it is a FF problem

My iPhone 4s is stuck on a black screen that shows a USB cable connecting to iTunes. The phone will not turn on and the iTunes logo as I described only shows up when I plug the phone into the charger or my computer. I have tried the reset in restore mode as well as the DFU? mode and it still will not work. I have the latest version of iTunes on my Mac. My error code was 2002. I also tried it on my laptop (windows 8.1) and none of the above worked. My error code on my laptop was 02. The phone is through Verizon and it has absolutely no damage. It was working fine up until this and I have been trying to fix it for 2 days. Please help! I am unsure of what version the phone was currently running on before this because I have another iphone that's my primary phone and have not used this one in about a month. I do not believe it was updated to IOS 7.
Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

first, you just asked me to use MS file Explorer to see what the properties were.,..and to ask what happened. Yes - that's on my hard drive. The problem I have is opening word files in a DB that is web enabled.....I've used Firefox browser for that, and everything else , for years...... When I look at the Tools, and options on FireFox., as your support page noted.....NOTHING is listed in the Applications tab....hence my note asking for help. The file I need to open is a Word file out on a web enabled DB. It's not on my hard drive - I have to problems opening docs there - but for that, I don't use Firefox

If I was you I would do a reset ie hold the sleep/wake and home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. If that didn't help I would then delete and redownload the book. If problems still persist contact Apple support:

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPod? Press/hold the home and sleep/wake buttons down until the Apple logo appears.
