A Pack AC3 settings

A Pack > AC3 settings?
I want apack to do - nothing - simply convert to AC3. No compression etc.
I want the audio to remain just like the aiff was in terms of sound charactor and dynamics.
Any tips?
G5 2.7 DVDSP 4   Mac OS X (10.4.2)

Hi:
In my experience I feel that such settings keep my audio like the original. Start with that settings and make a test.
Treat your audio in any software (i.e. Soundtrack) to get your right mix, including all compression and effects you want, but remember you must have a good audio monitor system because you can get foul by the speakers !
My final desicion about audio is allways playing the DVD in my home player with my standard audio equipment (a Yamaha) where I know that everything (comercial CDs and blockbuster titles) "sound" fine.
I'm telli all of these without any information about where are you mixing your audio then please forgive if something is obvious or "not too much pro" for you.
Hope that helps!

  • Integration Pack Connector settings wiped and replaced

    Greetings all,
I've just experienced a rather concerning issue and have hit a bit of a dead-end trying to identify the root cause.
We have Orchestrator 2012 R2 with several 3rd party integration packs from codeplex such as ones for Sharepoint, AD, Config Manager etc.
    Sharepoint IP - http://orchestrator.codeplex.com/releases/view/75877
The other night several runbooks stopped working and we found that ALL of the Integration Pack configuration settings for our SharePoint IP had been completely wiped and two completely unknown entries configured there instead.
From what I can tell, "ybusa.net" refers to YellowBook, which isn't even remotely related to us. The username and Sharepoint site URL are also completely unknown to us. The closest I reference I can find is that Yellowbook is mentioned a few times
as a reference customer for Opalis, and this codeplex post - http://scorch.codeplex.com/discussions/455038
I tried searching the sourcecode of the Sharepoint integration pack but could find no reference to ybusa or YellowBook.
The best guess I can come up with is that an integration pack we are using was written by someone while they were working for Yellowbook, and somehow there is a bit of "default" configuration data buried in the IP or a common binary somewhere that
was triggered somehow and caused this to happen.
It was not the only IP that had configuration settings lost and replaced with strange "default" entries, but not all of the IP's were affected (e.g. official Microsoft ones). So I was wondering if there is a connection between the author of the
    impacted IP's and YellowBook.
We were able to restore the database to a point just before the change happened and everything is now back to normal, but as we can find no trigger, cause or connection to why it happened at all, this is now making us rather nervous about the fact it may
    happen again.
We've been using these same IP's for quite some time now (>6 months) and there also have been no updates of SCORCH or any Integration packs performed in quite some time.
Any thoughts or suggestions that might help solve this mystery would be most welcome.
    Regards,
    Scott.

We have a answer - almost forgot to post a follow up about what happened.
The most important thing I learned from this is that importing Configuration configurations will entirely replace any config data that is already present for an Integration Pack.
The culprit was in fact the import of the "SC2012 Solution Runbook Examples" which also applies settings across several Integration Packs.
    http://orchestrator.codeplex.com/releases/view/86195
Digging through that code you can see the references to YellowBook.
A colleague has been testing export and import of his own runbooks (which I had checked and cleared as OK), but somewhere along the way he selected the Solutions one. At the time he didn't realise as it imported into a test sub folder that was being frequently
deleted and re-created. He has now been banished to the DEV environment pending a rigorous re-education program :)
So from this I now know:
We have a pretty good DR capability for Orchestrator
Importing has "Global Configurations" enabled by default and will REPLACE all existing config data for matching IPs. The documentation guides I've written for the people here say to unselect the import of Global configurations. That unfortunately
is no protection against Orchestrators desire to make it enabled by default
even more about the Orchestrator DB schema and how to follow the internal object GUIDs to find all the connections they have to each other
Orchestrator still has many many quirks that really need Microsoft to spend some time improving on
Thank you all for your feedback and suggestions.

  • Downmix and a.pack (Ac3)

Hi, I'm using a.pack 1.5.4 to encode audio files in ac3. The I create a DVD with DVD studio Pro.
Everything is Ok, except downmixes which are far less loud and dynamic than the 5.1 result.
It's my ampli which decode, but this problem does not exist whith commercial DVDs.
Is the A.pack not so good, (i've tried many setttings), or???
Thank you for your answers !

    Hi:
Check the settings you'll find in this * Encoding AC3 with A.Pack Tutorial *.
    Hope that helps !

  • New to Compressor 2: the 60 min settings are gone?

That's all I'm wondering. Looks like they got rid of the old 60-min MPEG2 settings and added 150-minute ones. Are the 60's really gone, so to speak? I know I can just go grab the old settings from Compressor 1 and re-implement 'em.
And it looks like they finally adjusted the settings to account for the fact that most folks aren't using 6 channels of audio in their AC3 settings, which is good!

    Eric:
I really don't remember Compressor 1 presets but I think the reason of the change was the incorporation of the AC3 encoding inside Compressor 2 (with Compressor 1 you had to use A.Pack to encode AC3).
Now you have a 90 min high quality preset that lets you fit 90 min video using AC3 audio or 60 min of video using AIFF audio. I think that's the same video compression preset, that just changed in its name to show the new audio compression capabilities.

  • Play AC3 5.1 Sound with a 7.1 system on all speak

I have a 7. soundcard (Creative Labs Audigy 2 ZS) and a 7. speaker system (Creative Labs Gigaworks S750). Because todays movies have only 5. sound (no 7.), not all speakers are used. In the settings of my soundcard-software (AC3 settings), I can configure, that in case of 5. contents, the surround signal is played on the side AND back speakers. When I watch a DVD and (for example in PowerDVD) set the audio settings to SPDIF, this works (but not with the settings 5. or 7.). But for example with DivX movies with AC3 sound, this does NOT work. When I set the output mode to 5. in the freeware software "AC3filter", the surround signal is only on the back speakers, setting it to SPDIF, the sound is lagging, so it does not work.
Now I'm looking for a possibility, to make 5. contents always use the side AND back speakers for the surround channel. Does anyone knows a solution?

rums.creative.com/creativelabs/view_profile?user.id=36829" target=top>Kanuki[/url]: I set the AC3Filter settings to "Dolby ProLogic II" and "PCM 24bit" (I also tried "PCM Float"), but I then I have only stereo (all 7 speakers are used).
By using the upmix feature of my speaker system (5.=>7.), it works, but then the surround channels are very low (too quiet) and it does not sound very good. So this no suitable solution.
rums.creative.com/creativelabs/view_profile?user.id=2047]<SPAN>Shingo-Y[/url]: I use the "Mediaplayer classic", very great software! I set the AC3Filter to "Prefer other decoder" and now the PowerDVD codec/filter is used. Then it works, when setting the audio output to SPDIF. But the sound starts ca. 5 seconds after the video and the video is lagging a little bit.

  • Multiple level packing with an example

    hi,
    sap gurus,
how we will configure multi-level packing.
for eg: packing of colour television.
    plz do the need ful
    regards,
    balaji.t

    Dear Balaji,
Multiple packing is femiliar with single level packing but here more that one packing materials will be involved.
I will explain with your example Colour TeleVision.
Packing materials are :- Carton box,Pallet and container.
Step 1.You create material masters for Colour Tele Vision,Carton Box,Pallet and Container.
Step 2.You do the packing related settings to the carton box,Pallet and container in the IMG path is
    SPRO>IMG>Logistics execution>Shipping>Packing
    -->Define Packaging Material Type
-->Define Material Group for Packaging Materials
    -->Define Allowed Packaging Materials
Step 3.Assign the packing material type in the respective masters.
1.Assign carton Box packing material type to Tele Vision master >Basic data 1>Under packing material data.
2.Assign Pallet packing material type to Carton Box master >Basic data 1>Under packing material data.
3.Assign Container packing material type to Pallet master >Basic data 1>Under packing material data.
Now you create delivery for the colour television in the delivery you can able to pack the TV in to carton boxes then in to Pallets then in to Container. This called multilevel packing.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • AC3 5.1 files don't make 5.1 DVD?

    Hi Folks
I used Digital Performer to make 5.1 sound track - I bounced the project down and thus have a folder of MySound.L.aif; and MySound.Rs.aif and so on. I've looked at those audio files in a separate audio program, and the files have content and seem fine. I encode in compressor 3.5.2 using proper AC3 settings. When I burn a DVD with the AC3 file, it plays stereo. I've tried many variations of this procedure to try and find out what's going on. For example, I found some correctly named .aifs in a DVDSP Training Series book I have; I encoded them in Compressor with the same settings and the DVD is surround sound. Odd. I used STP and bounced to AC3 within STP and it makes a surround DVD. Fwiw, the playback system (receiver, player) all work fine with Dolby commercial releases.
    Any thoughts on this one??
    Thanks, John

still hoping for some insight on this oddity... thx, John

  • Encoding issues...size

I finally graduated from 1.5 to 4 and now am learning all over again. No matter what encoding perameters i set and apply in preferences the disc meter reads the same. I imported a final cut pro movie just under 20 gb...1 hour, 33 min. simple menu, aiff stream. I have tried building a 1 pass vbr with max rate 7 and normal rate at 5...same conclusion around 6 gb size, which is what the meter reads no matter how I change the encoding in preferences. What am I missing?? I have not tried encoding through compressor alone yet then importing, I was trying to use the embedded encoder. Help...thanks

    HI Chad
    Welcome to the forum.
After you change your pref settings, you need to delete the mpegs and the PAR folder that DVDSP created, otherwise it will continue to use the ones already created. You would be better to encode you mpegs using Compressor as DVDSP4 doesn't come with A.pack, .ac3 encoding has been incorporated into Compressor 2 now. Given the length of your production, you'll need to encode your audio as .ac3 to lower your overall bitrate and give you more space for your mpeg.
    Hope that helps
    Cheers

  • Custom Table for Verifying Duplicate Invoice against Legacy Invoice Data

    Hi All,
We are trying to upload legacy invoice data in a custom table. Then we want to use SAP duplicate invoice check functionality to look for the potential duplicate invoice from this custom table as well apart from the standard SAP tables.
If you know of some user exit or any function module which I can use to link this custom table with the standard SAP duplicate invoice check functionality then it would be of great help.
    Regards,
    Sanjay

    Hi Jurgan!
    Thanks for the reply,
    We are using ECC6,

I have ensured that message M8108 (if accounting documents are found) is maintained as an error message in OMRM.
Still system is allowing duplicate invoices for the reference nos. 00082 and 00072.
For other reference Nos. which are previously used for other documents, system issues error message successfully.

  • Cannot Connect to VPN

I'm just about ready to ragequit for the day. I've been pouring through dozens of support pages, youtube videos, tutorials. The lack of true documentation on problems like this has me considering a start-up business that specifically deals with these frustrations. Clearly I could make millions!
I will detail everything about this problem as best as I can, to avoid confusion later with questions:
Here's what I have for hardware:
    1) A Public IP Address. We'll just call it X.X.X.X.
    2) A D-Link DI-604 router (yes they DO support VPN services, with a router address of 192.168.1.254.
This router is running Firmware Version 3.53, the last firmware released for it on Wed, 18 Apr 2007 (YES I AM AWARE THE ROUTER IS OLD, DEFLECTING THIS ISSUE BY TELLING ME TO GET A NEWER ROUTER WITHOUT FIRST READING THROUGH EVERYTHING BELOW IS NOT A HELPFUL CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROBLEM, D-LINK HAS CONFIRMED THIS ROUTER SUPPORTS VPN PASSTHROUGHS).
    3) A Mac Mini Server running 10.6.8, router address of 192.168.1.10.
Here are the ports that I've allowed through the router, pointed directly at 192.168.1.10 (aka my Server):
    UDP Port 500
    UDP Port 1701
    UDP Port 4500
    TCP & UDP Port 1723
Here is how I have the VPN Service configured on my Server:
    L2TP is Enabled.
Starting IP address range of 192.168.1.180
Ending IP Address range of 192.168.1.189
PPP Authentication: Directory Service with Authentication set to MS-CHAPv2
IPSec Authentication is set to Shared Secret, let's just say the secret is "derp" without quotes.
    PPTP is Disabled.
    Client Information:
DNS Servers point to my router: 192.168.1.254
    Search Domains is empty.
    Network Routing Definition is empty.
    Logging:
    Verbose logging is enabled.
    VPN Service is: Running.
    Server User Information
    Access to VPN Services:
Allow only users and groups below:
(I have users dedicated to this, but for the sake of this topic let's just say one of them is "misterderp" without quotes)
The Hardware I'm Using to Connect to the VPN Server:
I have a Macbook Pro running 10.6.8, another laptop running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3, and another laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1. All 3 laptops acquire an IP Address via DHCP from the Router (192.168.1.254). Below is what happens when I try to set up a VPN connection on all 3 machines:
Computer #1: MacBook Pro, running 10.6.8
Settings: (this is in System Preferences > Network, by the way):
    New VPN Connection
Server Address: X.X.X.X. (this is our Public IP Address)

    Authentication Settings > User Authentication:
Password: (password given to misterderp from server)
    Authentication Settings > Machine Authentication:
Shared Secret: derp (as specified in the L2TP tab of the VPN Service on the Server)
At this point I will try to connect. I receive the following error message:
    =========
    VPN Connection
The L2TP-VPN server did not respond. Try reconnecting. If the problem persists, verify your settings and contact your Administrator.
    =========
Computer #2: Laptop, running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
Settings: (this is in Control Panel > Network Connections, by the way):
    Add a New Connection
VPN Server Selection: X.X.X.X. (this is our Public IP Address)

         IPSec Settings
Use Preshared key for authentication: derp (as specified in the L2TP tab of the VPN Service on the Server)
At this point I will try to connect. I am using the Account Name misterderp, and the password given to this account from the server. I receive the following error message:
    =========
Error 800: Unable to establish the VPN connection. The VPN server may be unreachable, or security parameters may not be configured properly for this connection.
    =========
Computer #3: Laptop, running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 Service Pack 1
Settings: (this is in Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center, by the way):
Set Up a Connection or Network:
         Connect to a workplace
         Use my Internet Connection
Internet Address: X.X.X.X. (this is our Public IP Address)
    Type your username and password:
User name: misterderp (specified on the Server to have VPN access)
Password: password given to the misterderp account
    VPN Connection Properties:
    Security Tab:
Type of VPN: Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol with IPsec (L2TP/IPSec)
Advanced Settings: Use preshared key for authentication: derp (as specified in the L2TP tab of the VPN Service on the Server)
Data Encryption: Require encryption (disconnect if server declines)
Allow these protocols: Microsoft CHAP Version 2 (MS-CHAP v2)
At this point I will try to connect. The window hangs at "Connecting to X.X.X.X. using "WAN Miniport (L2TP)"". After about 30 seconds, I receive the following error message:
    =========
Error 789: The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during intiial negotiations with the remote computer.
    =========
So there you have it, 3 sources of unintelligible frustration.
You're probably wondering, HEY, WHAT ABOUT THE LOG ON YOUR SERVER ADMIN PAGE?
I've been looking at the log, and there's a whole lot of nothing. The only thing I have is this:
    #Start-Date: 2012-02-17 14:01:46 CST
    #Fields: date time s-comment
    2012-02-17 14:01:46 CSTLoading plugin /System/Library/Extensions/L2TP.ppp
    2012-02-17 14:01:46 CSTListening for connections. . .
So the Server's not getting ANYTHING, let alone spit out errors.
Now you might be wondering, ALRIGHT, WHAT ABOUT VPN-ING WITHIN YOUR OWN NETWORK, THAT PROBABLY WORKS RIGHT?
Yes it does. Without any question, my MacBook Pro will connect to the VPN Service so long as I'm connecting DIRECTLY to the Server through its local IP address, and not trying to reach it through a public IP address that's forwarding the requests through the ports I've assigned.
At this point I am at a complete loss. I believe I have done everything correctly, but it would appear that my router isn't playing nice with VPN requests. If there is/are any other ports I should be turning on to point to my server, I would like to know what ones those are.
If there are any tweaks or additional settings I should know about for the Windows computers (especially Windows 7), I would like to know what those are.
If at the end of this post that you've just read and know with irrefutable proof or a reasonably educated decision that this router magically will not serve my VPN needs AT ALL, I would like to know a reasonably-priced alternative, preferably something that is not an Extreme Base Station, Time Capsule, or other product because my ISP hates Apple-based routers for a reason even they do not understand
If at the end of htis post that you've just read and know with irrefutable proof or a reasonably educated decision that I would be better off attempting this with PPTP on this D-Link Router, and if you know how to set the correct settings on Server Admin, forward the correct ports on the router I have, I would like to know that
Thank you for reading this wall of text, anyone willing to help me with this is an amazing person

    Hi Esther,
After 3 months, I was finally able to revisit this issue. Here are the results of my nmap TCP test using your code:
    Gerchak$ nmap -T5 XX.XX.XXX.XX
    Starting Nmap 6.00 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2012-05-22 17:50 CDT
Note: Host seems down. If it is really up, but blocking our ping probes, try -Pn
Nmap done: 1 IP address (0 hosts up) scanned in 1.68 seconds
And here are the results of my UDP test using your code:
    Gerchak$ sudo nmap -sU -T5 -p 500,1701,4500,9999 XX.XX.XXX.XX
    Starting Nmap 6.00 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2012-05-22 17:51 CDT
Nmap scan report for xxx-bb-xxx-3-ws-6.xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.net (XX.XX.XXX.XX)
    Host is up (0.096s latency).
    PORT     STATE         SERVICE
    500/udp  open          isakmp
    1701/udp open|filtered L2TP
    4500/udp open|filtered nat-t-ike
    9999/udp open|filtered distinct
Obviously there's something wrong since the TCP scan registered a major problem, so I redid the scan per nmap's recommendations:
    Gerchak$ nmap -Pn XX.XX.XXX.XX
    Starting Nmap 6.00 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2012-05-22 17:55 CDT
Nmap scan report for xxx-bb-xxx-3-ws-6.xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.net (XX.XX.XXX.XX)
    Host is up (0.14s latency).
    Not shown: 990 filtered ports
    PORT     STATE  SERVICE
    22/tcp   closed ssh
    427/tcp  closed svrloc
    500/tcp  closed isakmp
    548/tcp  open   afp
    1723/tcp closed pptp
    5002/tcp closed rfe
    5003/tcp open   fm
    5004/tcp closed avt-profile-1
    5222/tcp open   xmpp-client
    8080/tcp open   http-proxy
So, where should I go from here? 1723 is closed off yet my router says it's open. I'm just about ready to throw my hands up in the air and just purchase a different router.

  • To create a PAL DVD in DVD Studio Pro...

I simply took my NTSC Uncompressed Quicktime File, put it into Compressor, and when I converted the file to MPEG 2 I changed the Video Format to PAL in the Inspector Settings. I didn't make any changes to the AC3 settings...
When the m2v and AC3 files were created I put them into DVD Studio Pro in a PAL Project and burned a DVD...
I watched the DVD on my MacBook Pro computer in DVD Player and it looked great and the sound synced up and everything. I put the DVD into my Playstation 3 and tried to watch it on my NTSC TV Monitor and a message came up saying "Playstation doesn't support PAL format"...
So it seems like everything worked correctly. Did it? I need to send this DVD to the Edinburgh International Film Festival and I want to make sure it will work.
    Thanks!
    Mike

The Best Buy Blueray player to get is the Playstation 3. Someone here said that as a Blueray player it's terrible compared to a designated Blueray player, and he may be right, but my local high-end audio store said the Playstation 3 is actually a very good Blueray disc player. These guys are very reputable so I'm not sure what this other guy is talking about. I'm sure there are designated players that are better than the Playstation 3, but they can't be $400 either. And I personally thought the quality of my Blueray disc on my Playstation 3 was awesome, though of I've not watched the disc on a designated player for comparison. Hope this helps...

  • Can't log into BOE system using SAP Authentication when using Document Link

    Hi all.
We are setting up our dev SBOP 4.0 SP2 system and are working on getting everything configured to our requirements.
What I am currently struggling with is the Document Link functionality.
If you browse to a document (WEBI or Crystal) in the folder view in the BI Launchpad and right click and select Document View, the system presents a static link to the report. The problem is, when I execute that link in another browser window, the system prompts me with the default login screen that consists of the User Name and Password which utilizes the Enterprise authentication by default. Our login authentication is set to SAP everywhere else.
I've already set the parameters for BILaunchpad.properties to allow us to log into the BOE server using our user IDs and that works without a problem. I've also configured the OpenDocument.properties file as well. Neither of these two files seem to have any impact on the screen I'm seeing when I try to use the Document Link. (And yes, I've restarted the tomcat server each time I've made a change to the config files.)
I'm running out of ideas - have any of you encountered this issue before and do you have any suggestions?
    Thanks.
    -Brian

    Hi,
i saw this also a couple of times that the changes to the "custom" folder wont take affect.
    Try the following:
    1. Stop the Tomcat
    2. Rename the properties file in the custom folder
    3. take a backup of the properties file from the config folder
    4. make the changes to the properties file in the config folder
    5. start tomcat
Maybe this will solve the issue but if you deploy a new Fix Pack or Service Pack these Settings will get override.
If this solved your problem i would recommend you open a Support Message with the SAP Support.
    Regards
    -Seb.

  • Video before Menu skips

    Hey guys,
I'm trying to finish a DVD in Studio Pro 3. I've more or less got the hang of the program.
When the DVD starts, I want to have a quick 5 second graphic of my company logo fade in and fade out, then go to the menu. Easy enough.
But, for some reason, the intro video stutters and skips a few times. I've tried re-exporting the clip from FCP and have made an entirely new clip in FCP and exported it, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The video clip has a jerky motion to it no matter what. I've tried everything I can think of to overt this but nothing seems to do the trick. Has anyone else experienced this?
    Thanks,
    pat

    Patrick
FCP will not set the Max Rate, what you should do is export the movie as self contained and then use Compressor (sending it from FCP to Compressor is another option, but self contained seems to work better andd quicker.)
The 2 hour version may (not sure if it does, do not have settings) drop the Max Rate but it would drop thee average rate.
What you should do is check the settings by double clicking the preset in the preset window.
What you can do is also "make your own".
Take a look at this movie here
    http://www.dvdstepbystep.com/qc.php
to see how you can make your own settings - note the AC3 settings in particular for items that you should check/uncheck.
The m2v section (which is actually first) just shows how the controls work in general and do not mean they have to be your actual settings.

  • Exporting project to DVD... need some help...

Alright so my movie is finished in the timeline, but I need to get it to DVD. My question is what format should I use to export my movie (NTSC 4:3 standard is the setting I used while editing) and remember I would prefer the highest quality possible.
Right now I am exporting the video in MPEG 2, but I have a feeling the quality of the video is going to suffer greatly... should I export in HD 720p?
Sorry if these questions sound stupid, but when it comes to the really technical stuff like this, I still haven't quite figured it out.
    -thanks again

    Steve,
There are a lot of variables you haven't told us such as the length of your film, version of FCP etc.
I have just authored 27, 30 minute educational films onto DVD and the workflow I used was based on a lot of trial and error. This may not apply to you but here's what I did:
Using FCP 4.5 set your audio for the entire project to peak at around -12dB
Export as self contained Quicktime file at it's current
settings (I found exporting using Quicktime conversion to MPEG 2 caused sync problems)
Using Compressor create a custom preset (copy an existing preset then edit) of 8Mbps CBR for the video and either use the DVD PCM preset for the audio or using APack to convert to AC3. I used PCM. Leave the GOPs and everything else alone. If you use APack check the AC3 settings, the default are not suitable, Ken Stone has a good article on this on his website.
When done import, into DVDSP2 and author from there.
This has given me excellent results and this workflow should work for up to an hour film off the top of my head.
If your film is any longer you'll need to calculate the maximum bitrate you can use based on the audio you use.
For example I recently authored a 3.5 hour DVD - I used a bitrate of 4Mbps ish and an AC3 soundtrack and it worked fine.
Incidentally I found that 2 pass VBR gave unstable results which is why I went for CBR - later versions of Compressor might have solved this problem.
Hope this helps, I'm sure other people do it in different ways and get equally good results.

  • Decentralized WM and Hu's

    Hello:
We are implementing DWM, as we are testing the IDOC's, creating them manually. As the WM will be no SAP.
I found that the system is asking for a HU in the Inbound delivery, but the configuration of the Item Category in the delivery Item, does not require packing, neither the storage location in the Delivery.
Does anybody know why a HU is being required?, are HU mandatory when operatin with DWM.
If I enter a HU, I can post the GR, but this is not how we want to operate.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
We use DWM as well and we use HU Management at Storage Location Level. But as per your scenario, HU is not really required to do a PGR. Check your packing control settings at Storage type and Movement type levels as well.
    Good Luck,
    Thanks
    Vinod.
