A plea to Discussions users

Question

Please remember that by posting to Discussions you have agreed to its terms of use, which expressly forbid discussing Apple's policies, ranting, disrespectful language, & focusing in general on non-technical issues.
Whatever your feelings on these things, pro or con, you have given up the right to air them here.
More importantly, turning a thread legitimately focused on providing technical help to fellow users into a rant-fest will likely result in the entire thread being deleted, denying users like yourself an opportunity to see something that could offer them real help with problems they can solve themselves.
If you have never done so, please take a few minutes to read the Terms of Use, consider what they promote, its value to the user community.
I think most of us understand the need to rant about things felt strongly about. This just isn't a good place to do it.

You could always iProstrate yourself and iBeat yourself with an iStick. Don't do it too long though, because the iStick battery life isn't too good. Alternatively, you could always take the moral high ground instead and ask a friendly level 2, 3 4 or 5 user (if there are any friendly ones) to report your own post to a moderator and thus have it removed, thus destroying any evidence you ever did anything wrong. I like that approach personally.
