A problem about buying stuff via other APPs?
Hi:
I has bought magazines via external APP for a long time and done it well. Recently I found that I can do that again and message like "unable to connect to iTune store" was always returned. How can I solve this problems?

I found the following recommended troubleshooting steps to take when you receive an error message that you're unable to connect to the iTunes store. I'd give them a shot:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

Yes, i do not suggest upgrading right now. There is some software malfunction or glitch that spontaneously shuts down this specific model. I upgraded and it was a pain to downgrade and make my mac usable again.

Problem drag/dropping photos to other Apps (e.g. PowerPoint).
I just got a new camera (FujiFilm FinePix S5700) and the photos from this camera can't be drag/dropped to other apps. If I try it I get the error message "Quick Time and a Tiff decompressor are needed to see this picture"
That puzzles me because the file info shows the pictures as being jpeg files. If I export the photos somewhere else I can drag/drop them into other apps, but not directly from IPhoto. I have had photos from two other cameras and have not had this problem. Any ideas?Craig:
Try this test. Import a photo from the camera to the desktop first and then import into iPhoto. Now see if that photo can be dragged into another app. They do have a jpg extension on the file name, right?

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -
PC Suite Problem with N73 - Synchs but other apps ...
Hope someone can help - Have an N73 and using the latest PC Suite - running windows XP with service pack 2.
I can connect OK to PC Suite - though often teh phone isn't detected so I have to start again. But usually can connect and synchronize no problem. I can also get file manager to work. But Back up, install applications, store images, transfer music all cause PC suite to close. I get the standard MS error box (this appication has encoutered a problem and has had to close, and the option to send an error report to MS.
got Back up to start once, but it said there was no phone connected (despite the fact that I had hust synched successfully).
I have uninstalled and reinstalled PC suite. I have used the PC suite cleaner, in safe mode, and reinstalled again. Still no success.
Any ideas?

The following applications don't seem to work:

View multimedia works OK

Wiped my hard drive worried about my notes and other app data
Because of a bad DD command I wiped my hard drive unexpectedly. I am not to worried about my music witch I had backed up but I am worried about the notes, and data in some of the applications on my touch. When I reinstall Windows and Sync will I be able to do something about that?
I believe you are out of luck. Applications can be downloaded again but the data is likely going to be toast. Try googling iPod to PC and see if any of the programs meant to copy content can also handle notes and app data.

Problem about showing report via Portal after modifying BWReports.css

I use BEx 3.X.
I wanna make title of table column to be shown in the center of table cell.
So, I modify class SAPBEXstdItem in BWReports.css, and I changed text-align of SAPBEXstdItem into 'center'.
I run the report via Web Application Designer (SAP BW 3.x).
the title is located in the center of table cell.
However, I run the report via Portal, the title is still located on the left of table cell.
I don't know why.
Could you help me to solve the issue?

Problems with browsers & DNS, but other apps work fine
My computer woke from sleep this morning with an interesting issue. Some applications weren't connecting to the net, saying they couldn't find the host name (all three browsers and a chat program). But, other programs like my email program connected to the network just fine. iphone through the router also connected to everything just fine as well.
Changed DNS servers from google to comcast, and got the same issue, which is strange. Didn't get a chance to restart yet (had to get to work). If a restart doesn't clear this out, I'm not sure what to tinker with after that. Thoughts?

I had a problem sometime ago and used Open DNS to resolve it, but I do not know whether that will help (my problem went away when I changed ISP, so I removed Open DNS).

Little problem about using dispatchertimer on WP app developing

I m developing a little game on VS 2013 for windows phone. I m using dispatchertimer for show error messege on screen every 30 seconds. I m using dispatchertimer for this. But error message doesn't show up on screen after 30 seconds, i need to touch screen
after 30 seconds for error message show up. How can i fix it ? I need to make this error message show up after 30 seconds without any touch.

-> Sounds like you have to touch screen to start the timer...Not sure how you implement the function but I would suggest you share your code snippet with us. As Ken told, using dispatcher.begininvoke() to show the error is also necessary if your dispatcherTimer
is not in UI thread:

Can't buy gems in clash if clans but can in other apps
I had my iPad stolen three weeks ago and now have the replacement. All restored ok except in the app "clash of clans" I can't purchase gems. This intermittently has worked but mostly not. The obvious like passwords etc is not a problem as I can buy stuff in other apps and the downloads from App Store etc all work. I had a ticket with supercell (the company who makes coc) but they are not getting anything from apple to trigger the gem purchase. The message I get is to contact iTunes support but having tried that, I got told to talk to supercell.
My understanding if in app purchases is that the transaction is completely with apple until the money has changed hands, then the app owner gets notified to send me my "goods". Therefore, there should be some type of exception report.
