A Problem in - Java Running Appl

I had set the following path in my batch file :-
path="c:\windows;c:\windows\command;c:\jdk1.3;c:\jdk1.3\bin;
set classpath="c:\jdk1.3\lib;c:\jdk1.3\lib.;
i had tried to compile the file hello.java, compilation was
successful, but when i tried to run the file, i recieved the
following error :-
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: hello
The file - hello.java
class hello{
public static void main (String args[]) {
System.out.println(" Am i seen, just checking in " );
Please Help me.

This is probably a typical classpath error... Let your classpath variable point towards the root directory of your java classes. in your case, this will be the directory your .class file is in.
Also, make sure that is your class is called hello, your file have to be called hello.java as well, and not Hello.java or hElLo.java or the likes.
