A problem installing the firmware on a Zen Mi

I was having problems with my Zen Micro, the usual Firmware problem and the cannot connect to device problem.
I solved it like this:
uninstalled all creative software
Rolled Back WMP to Version 9, then installed version 0.
Ran the firmware install: Sucessful
Installed the creative software

Your player is in 'recovery mode'. I think you should connect your Zen to the USB and select option 3: 'reload firmware'. Then run the firmware program you got from the website and this should load the firmware onto your Zen automatically.Message Edited by joshua32 on 04-24-2006 0:6 PM

Problem installing SD Firmware v2.0. Help needed!

I installed the firmware through the Apple Software Update tool and upon restarting my computer got stuck.
I had just rebooted the computer, after installing the QT 7.1.1 update. I re-ran the SW, it popped the Firmware update, I clicked install, it downloaded and asked for a reboot. I clicked yes, it powered down, then up, I heard the chime, and saw the white screen with the apple and the spinning thingy at the bottom -- the usual. Then it switched to a light blue screen, completely blank, and it's been there for 15 min.
Could this be because of peripherals connected to the system? I have the following devices connected to the computer: (1) an external fireware drive plugged in, which has a bootable clone of my old Panther system (now I run Tiger), but it would only boot from there if I hold the Option key and select it. (2) an external monitor connected to my miniDV port. (3) a USB mouse. (4) an Ethernet cable.
In the meantime I unplugged the monitor, and the ethernet. The rest is still plugged in.
I could use any help or comments! The machine is still stuck with the light blue screen. Should I hold the power button to power it down and unplug the external firewire drive? Thanks!

How do I install the firmware update for LinkSys E900 router?

Hi,
I'm using Mac 10.7.5 and a few months back had purchased the E900 wireless router. It has firmware 1.0.03 installed and I noticed there is a 1.0.04 update. I downloaded the update, which is a .bin file, but I do not have a CD burner nor access to a Windows machine. How can I install the firmware update?

Simple, with your wired computer (never wireless) just access the GUI in the router and perform the firmware update. Just point to the .bin file and away you go. Make sure to hard reset the router and reconfigure it after you are done.

Having problems installing the new flash player

As the title say im having great problems installing the new flash player. I have downloaded it many times and tried installing each time, still nothing. Ive tried installing it offline with my computer totally disconnected from the internet, nothing. Each time i try and install it, it goes through 2 windows (one saying if i want to run it, and one asking for permission) and after they disappear, the icon also disappears strangely =S. I checked it on task manager and it is just sitting there doing nothing. Please help.

Problem installing the free trial for Illustrator on Creative Cloud

Has anyone had any problem installing the trial apps on Adobes Creative Cloud? I've been trying to install it but everytime I click on download, the page loads and it says "xx is downloading..." but it's not doing anything. I thought it may be to do with the internet connection and so have tried it at a couple of places now, but it's the same thing. Anyone come across the same problem? I just want to get illustrator and photoshop on my laptop for some work but it seems like the most economically friendly or even only way is through the Creative Cloud....
Stressed and confused!

Nobody can help you without proper technical information such as system specs and what Internet connection you are actually on. Trivial things like using a different W-LAN can make all the difference.

I have been into computers for about 25 years now and it really ticks me off that after all these years these companys can not put out something that works. I am having a problem installing the updated version 10.3.1.55 on my laptop.

I am having a problem installing the updated version of Itunes 10.3.1.55 on my laptop which uses Windows XP operating system. I have download the software from Apple's website and have successfully installed it. However, when I launch Itunes I get an error message "Itunes was not installed correctly" "error 7 (windows error 999)". I have uninstalled the software, deleted all associated files, and reinstalled the software, but I am still having the same problem. I did not have any issues with the older version of Itunes. Does any one have a work around for this problem, or how can I download the old version I was using?

Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

Hi..my zen vision M 30gb started in recovery mode and the screen show me the following message "need to reload the firmware". Im connect it into my computer? and nothing happened.. The player is not reconized or detected for my computer. Im connect it im my laptop and the same problem, nothing happened.. The screen show the battery indicator, charge the battery (amazing)?and turn on when im plugged...Please if somebody can help me to resolved this big problem, im regards for ever..

HT1237 How can I install the firmware without an installed operating system?

I'm trying to update the firmware on a mid2010 macbook pro whose hard drive failed. In order to use Internet Recovery I need to update the firmware. I don't have an OS to boot to YET so I'm no sure how to use the DMG file via a direct boot.

In all honesty Apple should have a method and instruction on how to create a REAL Lion Install Thumb drive or DVD if you like. In stead of this STUPID Download system.
