A Problem that I cannot not figure...
I'm Currently working on my eMac g4 because my iBook g4 just failed, I make music so when I want to do shows, I don't want to haul a eMac around. I've worked on it's hard drive problem I got that but one night I was online and charging it and I was just attending to make music and before I opened anything I heard a shock inbetween the DC Adapter and the power chord, it worried me so I started to be careful, but then it just died or just shut off, I got up and just left it to cool down or so, and I come back to turn it on and it would not turn on. I hope I did not fry the logic board, I mean the laptop is old, I understand but I looked at the battery and pushed the button the battery and it was blinking at one dot and I thought "low battery" didn't seem like the case. I'm not sure if the battery died, so what I did was plug in the AC and took off the battery to see if it power up. Nothing. Now it just sits in the laptop bag hoping for return. I replaced the DC adapter also.
Any help on if its a logic board problem (because it seems for g4's logic boards tend to fail.)

Sorry, but it sounds like it's fried. Someone on this thread is looking for a power adapter, you could get a little of your money back, unless of course, it was a bad power adapter that fried it.

There was ios 4.1 in my iphone3gs.i have tried to update it through itunes but there is a problem.After installation through itunes,there is problem that it is not activating my iphone and shows a message that your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable,try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate it,or try again in a couple of minutes.i tried many times but it again shows the same message,
after installation,when i connect my iphone to itunes it shows a message that we are unable to activate your iphone at this time please try again or contact customer care.please reply me urgently to resolve this problem.That is usually a symptom thet the phone was hacked or jailbroken. Was it?

I have a problem that I can not load or even close the download in iTunes, it turns out I have hanging in the mode, and because of that I can't download from AppStore, because it turns out that the other programs I have on standby. What do I do? Thank you.
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

I believe there is no "Export to Tape" feature as appeared in legacy FCP.

The vfs_fsevents.c file is kicking out errors that I can not figure out.
I get errors that I tracked back to the vfs_fsevents.c file. But I can not figure out of these are errors I need to worry about or just random. Below are the errors that I am getting.

Yes, I now see the WAB area. Because of the horizontal tightness of the screen cap, I missed this.
I do not have any experience with the RADEON X600, but maybe someone else knows it. My first thought would be a display driver issue with the video card. You can find out what drivers you have by following the links below. Just substitute Display Adapters for Human Interface Devices. You might go to the ATI site and see if they offer a newer driver for your video card. These get out of date in a hurry.
As for the mouse driver there are two ways to check this out:
1.) Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager>Human Interface Devices>[Name of mouse and connection] Mouse Optical (if it is Optical)>Driver>Driver File Details. There, you will see all drviers associated with your mouse.
2.) From the My Computer setting, search for Intelli* in Files & Folders. This will find all instances of the IntelliPoint driver. If you have it installed, then go back and do #1 above to check to see if it is in use.
Now, all of the GUI display problems I've read of in a myriad of Adobe programs have been different, than yours. That idea is but a shot in the dark. Now, with Adobe and display issues, I normally think of Intellipoint mouse drivers. You might try changing drivers to the stock MS Windows\System32 drivers and see what happens. You might loose a touch of functionality of a multi-button/tilt-wheel mouse, if you have one, but it *might* take care of GUI issues.
I've been hoping that someone else would chime in with "hey, that's just the xxx, don't you recognize it?" So far, no one has.

Why is it that Firefox is constantly having some kind of problem that IE does not have?
Same problem with Firefox but not with IE. I tried to click on an episode of NCIS Los Angeles that used to work just fine with Firefox; Project TV. It still works with IE but not Firefox. Everything with Firefox appears to be intermittent. In other words, today it works just fine but tomorrow there is another problem. The bottom line is that Firefox is great for some things and IE for others. I will continue to use Firefox as my primary browser when it works with something and go to IE for things that Firefox has problems. Please let me know if you are aware of a way to stop these constant problems so that I can always use just Firefox.

Satellite L300 BIOS update problem: "That BIOS is not for your notebook PC"
I got Satellite L300 notebook and I want to update it's BIOS (current v1.50), so I've downloaded bios update v1.60-WIN and when I run extracted PS10160M.exe file - I get a message that "That BIOS is not for your notebook PC".
What I'm I doing wrong?
ps: that BIOS update was automatically suggested after registration on Toshiba website via serial number.
UPD: seems like autosuggestion fail: Manual search shows that 1.60-win bios update not suitable for Satellite L300 PSLBCE model. :-(Did you download the BIOS for the PSLBCE model?
You cannot use the BIOS from other L300 models, for example PSLB0E.
If you installed Windows yourself using a generic Windows Disc, you will need to install the Value Added Package from the Toshiba website. The BIOS Update requires the TVAP package to detect the machine properly. -

Try clearing the browser cache and delete any cookies for that site. If that doesn't resolve it, then that's a problem with the web-site itself, so unless it is your own website, you can't fix it.
Often it's a bug in the website code that detects what device/browser you are using and it gets stuck in a re-direct loop. You could contact the website developers and inform them. -
I've just upgraded my iPhone 5 with new iOS 7. I noticed that i cannot send a photo as a iMessage directly from Photo application as I could while was on iOS 6. Anybody knows something about this?
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I have tried as you suggested, and when opening the "purchased" apps some have the icloud logo next to them, but I only have "OPEN" against "Find My iPhone". When opening it up, it goes through the same routine; needs to be updated before proceeding, and wouldn't update because I don't have IOS8.
Anything else I could try, or am I doomed!

When trying to approve the payment (via TAN code) Firefox does not continue to finalize it. Contact with the ING bank confirmed this problem popped up. They advised to use Internet Explorer instead. Indeed with Internet Explorer everything worked OK. ING suspects Firefox not accepting their website as a save site anymore. Can I define ING as a save website to overcome the problems and if yes where do I do this?
In the ING system as soon as you want to pay the system asks for a Tan code which is provided by SMS. You fill in the TAN code and press the continue button. Normally then the payment is made. Unfortunately this did not work anymore. It worked in the past. Other functionality on the ING sites worked OK!i didn't read a lot of your 2nd paragraph, but it seems like the password is the issue, right?
do a true clean install
reboot your machine and hold down command+option+r, you should see a spinning globe - if you don't see the globe or anything that reads internet recovery, shut down and try again
at menu, chose disk utility and once there, find your HD on the left side, select the physical name and erase it as mac journaled
exit disk utlity
at menu, choose install OSX
this time, when it asks for a password just hit continue, it will let you complete without a password
you should be able to get into your laptop, now figure out what password you'll be able to use with your kb issue -

For your information, Microsoft has been very supportive of my situation regarding my older Macs and has even provided replacement floppy drives for Mac MS Word 5.a (decades old) in the last 12 months and even provided workarounds for a six-year-old Entourage 2008 this current year. I run a number of Macs, including two Mac Pros and two Mac OS 9.2 machines.

"Fail to Download" on 2011 MacBook Pro
