A problem when WebHelp launched in IE7.0

We got a very serious problem when WebHelp was launched in
IE7.0.
We connected to the appointed locations in our applications
by using bookmark of WebHelp.
The computer code which we used in out applications such as :
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
\\device\HHH0\Webhelp\HHH0HELP.htm#HHH0D010.htm#BLK01_HISTORY_NO"
When WebHelp was launched in IE6.0, it is normal and can show
out bookmark "BLK01_HISTORY_NO" in HHH0D010.htm correctly.
But in IE7.0 it is abnormal and can't show out
"#HHH0D010.htm#BLK01_HISTORY_NO" in the URL of IE7.0.
It's look like can't connect bookmark "BLK01_HISTORY_NO".
Please help us to solve this problem, and thank you very
much.

I wasn't familiar with command.exe so I looked it up in
Google. That seems to suggest it is spyware! I am guessing that it
may well be a valid method but one that has been hijacked. Be that
as it may, could it be that there is something in IE7 that prevents
command.exe from running ? I am not sure from your first post
whether it fails on all calls or just bookmarked calls. If it is
just the latter it probably rules out this train of thought.
Outside my area but you or your developers may want to do the
same Google search and see if it leads you anywhere.

  • Rollover problem when page viewed in IE7

Has anyone else come across the same problem:
I have made a navigation bar that uses rollover images in
    Fireworks.
The nav bar works fine when viewing the page in IE6 but when
viewed in IE7 the rollover image seems to try and shrink by one or
two pixels producing a squashed effect.
I have tested this on three different machines running IE7
and all of them produces the same problem, viewing the same nav bar
in IE6 is fine in all three.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Problems when i launch iTunes

I can only launch iTunes when my ipod is connected to the pc.
When I try to launch without my ipod connected, I allways get the same troubleshoot: 'the folder iTunes cannot be found or created, an is required. The default location for this folder is inside the 'My Music' folder' ( i m using the latest version of iTunes)
    aer aspire 1714smi   Windows XP

wongske, i think you might be getting two different problems at once here.
is your "My Music" on a drive other than your C drive? if so, what i think is underwriting all this is a driveletter confusion between your ipod and that drive:
Windows confuses iPod with network drive and may keep iPod from mounting or songs may seem to disappear
when your ipod is plugged in, the drive letters align so that your registry is "seeing" the My Music folder. when the ipod isn't plugged in, the Registry ends up looking on the wrong drive for the My Music folder, and you get this issue:
iTunes for Windows: "Disk is locked" or "iTunes folder cannot be found" when installing or opening iTunes

  • Strange problem when re-launching an application

I have this program which can self-update to the latest version. What it does is downloads the new version of itself, deletes the old version, renames the new version, sets its permissions and executes it.
Up until this next point, everything worked fine.
The method it executes it is using the Unix style exec() functions.
Until recently, my app was run "Unix Style", as in some kind of login script ran it. There were a lot of issues the cropped up, so I changed it to a proper application package. You know, with the .app directory structure with the real executable inside the MacOS directory.
Now what happens is that the initial app launches and seems to run normally, but when an update comes down, it goes through its update process and launches the replacement with the exec() functions.
Then something strange happens. My app will run for a few more seconds, and then just stop. It will disappear from the task viewer. It does not crash, it just goes away without any explanation.
I have put a lot of logging statements in, and there is no reason for it to stop where it does. I do not even think it stops at the same place. In once caase it stopped between to logging statements. IE: Log statement #1 was in my log file, but no log statement #2 when there was nothing in the world that could have caused the program to exit between them.
Does anyone know why this happens?
I have a suspicion, that maybe the fact that I am using the Unix exec command to launch the app, it is causing some trouble and I need to use the apple method.
What is the API command to launch another executable in a manner that it would be launched by the login window aka a user double clicking on the app icon?

First of all, have you set a proper bundle identifier for your app? It'll be the CFBundleIdentifier entry in the bundle's Info.plist file.
The equivalent to double-clicking on an app in the Finder is probably LSOpenFSRef() which is part of Launch Services:
    OSStatus LSOpenFSRef (
    const FSRef *inRef,
    FSRef *outLaunchedRef
You can change a posix style path to an FSRef (opaque File system reference) using FSPathMakeRef():
    OSStatus FSPathMakeRef (
    const UInt8 * path,
    FSRef * ref,
    Boolean * isDirectory
That function is part of the CoreServices framework:
    /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework / .. /Frameworks/CarbonCore.framework/ .. /Headers/Files.h"
    Hope this helps....

Do you have any better luck with that if you update to iTunes 10.6.1.7?
From the notes for the release:
iTunes 10.6.1 provides a number of improvements, including:
    • Fixes several issues that may cause iTunes to unexpectedly quit while playing videos, changing artwork size in Grid view and syncing photos to devices.
    • Addresses an issue where some iTunes interface elements are incorrectly described by VoiceOver and WindowEyes.
    • Fixes a problem where iTunes may become unresponsive while syncing iPod nano or iPod shuffle.

  • Problem when creating a Form with Launch Task Form Wizard

    Hi all,
I'm using jdeveloper 11.1.1.6 over Windows 7 64bits for my BPM project.
I'm a new with BPM and i have a problem when trying to create a task's Form with the "Launch Task Form Wizard". I'm trying to create my Form based on a custom template, i already have imported the template as a library, now after i have selected the template i follow the wizard and i reach the wizard's rowX-columnX where i should choose the field i want in my form, but the problem is that i don't see any fields in that part of the wizard, the window is empty :(
I have created a business object based on a XSD, then i created a process data object based on the previous created business object and finally i used this data object as a parameter to the human task.
What could be my problem ?? :( :(
    Regards
    Carlos

I have also faced this issue few times. There could be a namespace issue / schema issue. Please check if you are able to see task:task in the schema section anywhere in the .task file you created. If that is not shown, the fields will not appear while creating human task form.
    Thanks

  • Authorization problem when using the Transaction Launcher

    Hi All,
We have an authorization problem when we call a transaction (EL37) in ECC from the IC Web Client.
We believe that we have done all the necessary customizing in CRM and when we press the link in the Navigation Bar we are asked to logon to our ECC system. After logging on, we get an error message saying that "You do not have authorization for transaction EL37". If I then enter the transaction directly in the white command field in top of the ECC screen, then I have no problem calling the transaction.
My user has SAP_ALL, so it shouldn't be a problem with the authorizations. Maybe it has something to do with the transaction IC_LTXE? I have also tried to add this transaction to my user profile, but that didn't help.
Does anyone have a suggestion for how to fix this problem?
    Kind Regards,
    Gitte.

    Hi,
I have found the solution for the problem myself. The transation code in the Transation Launcher Wizard must be written in capitals! We had entered 'el37' and have now changed it to 'EL37'.
    Best Regards,
    Gitte.

  • I have a problem closing tabs in Firefox v3.6.13. The first tab on the left hand side (ie the page that opens when I launch Firefox) won't close when I click on the red x.

I can't close the left hand tab except by exiting firefox. When i launch firefox the original tab stays open when I click on the red x, even if I have other tabs open.
i can alter the website displayed on the left hand tab but it still won't close and leave other more recent tabs open.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
    See:

  • Warning message about CMP problem when launching query - how to suppress?

    Dear Experts
How can I suppress warning message that did not stop the query from running?
I encounter this message when 1st launching it. The next run , it does not show. But if user run it  i think may still show. How to suppress it?
    The message is :
    =================
Characteristic [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou of the MultiProvider is not provided by the PartProvider ZC_00N; this means it is not identified. However, [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou is compounded to 0COMP_CODE and 0COMP_CODE is identified with characteristic Z_I_MM_FM for InfoProvider ZC_006.
In this case, there is a compounding or CMP problem with [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou in the MultiProvider for PartProvider ZC_006.
Processing characteristics with CMP problems in the data manager is very complicated and can have a negative impact on performance. The data manager cannot use SIDs for these characteristics (at least not in the corresponding InfoProvider) because the initial SID = 0 for [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou is not the same as the initial compound key for 0COMP_CODE [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou (that is, when real values are posted in ZC_006 for 0COMP_CODE).
For this reason, hierarchies for [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou must often be read at leaf level. Furthermore, it is not possible to use hierarchy aggregates for [Z_I_NN_FN]Application Sub Grou or for the remaining InfoProviders.
    System Response
Where possible, the system tries to avoid negative impacts on performance. Unfortunately, such performance issues cannot be avoided if the correct results are to be displayed.
    Procedure
When working with important MultiProviders, you should always avoid characteristics with CMP problems.
    ====================
Please advise how to address CMP problem error message when launching query.
    regards
    Pascal

    Hi Pascal,
Why dont you select those compounding objects in Multiprovider itself. As far as i understand while activating the MP it throws an error if compounding objects are not selected.
One more thing to add which i noticed you can try running the query on analyzer if you are running it on RSRT.
You can see the data even if MP is not active on analyzer but not on RSRT.
    Hope it helps.

  • Problem when launching Photoshop CS3 in OSX 10.5.1 (Leopard)

When I launch Photoshop CS3 it quits and a message comes: "can't launch Photoshop because file is locked. Go to 'File' > 'Get Info' and unlock the file". But the file is not locked. Any idea? Thanks.

Thanks for your comments. I tried to look for the locked file but I didn't succeed. In the Console message is:
    "03/12/07 21:30:11 [0x0-0x5f05f].com.adobe.Photoshop[998] file://localhost/Applications/Adobe P"

  • IPhoto 9.3 problem when launching

    Hello,
I have upgraded iPhoto yesterday. Since the 9.3 version is installed, I have trouble when I launch the app. In fact, each time, I have an alert which tells me that iPhoto couldn't find a pic.
I have tried to start the app with alt+cmd and tried all the maintenance options, but no changes.
Does anyone else have the same problem ? Is there a solution ?
Here is a pic of the problem I got (it's in French).
Thank you very much for your help.
    Michaël

    Hi TD
None of you very good options work for me on my iphoto. I really dont understand how can Apple come up with such a BAD upgrade, now all my pictures I cant see them and dont know how to solve this problem caused by APPLE with their upgrade . I have my iphoto databse with over 65,000 pictures and cant access them. Can someone please help me and inform me to what phone number I can contact APPLE to solve the problem they have caused me ??  Your options 1 and 2 I have tried and keep getting this error or unable to access my pictures, this is a killer for me !!
    Regards, Joachim
PS: I triend both of these options here under mentioned and sincerely thanks for your help and attempt to help me.
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
