Can you help? What could it be?

So please check if Lync Server 2013 and all the issued Lync 2013 client update to the latest version firstly, it not update to the latest version, update it and then test again.

Mail: Problem with copy&paste from Remote Session

Hi,
I have a problem to copy just text from remote session (MS RDP Client) directly into an email. It always shows a contact .
The workaround is to paste into any other app, it doesn't matter which one. It works with Outlook for Mac but not with Mail. Does someone have the same issue and maybe a solution?
Due to connection issues I cannot use Outlook outside the company... so not an alternative at the moment.

Lync 2013 and problem with copy/paste from SQL Mgmt Studio.

Hi Everyone,
Recently one of ours programmers noticed a very interesting issue which is a real pain in the a## for him and his colleagues. It was all fine with Lync client 2010, problem started when moved some people to 2013 client.
When someone sends him a message with SQL Code, and he is pasting it into SQL mgmt std. he gets dashes "-" instead of spaces " ".
I thought this is a local PC issue, but:
1. On 2010 it worked, stopped all of a sudden when they changed lync client to 2013
2. They are pasting code on the SERVER not local SQL mgmt std. on their client machines
3. Even if I send him a code from Lync 2010 and he is pasting that from his 2013 client - he gets "-" dashes, so I guess it is not important from where I send the message, but from where he is copying it.
As for now, I have noticed that problem with guys from England and region of APAC - they have lync 2013 client already.
Really appreciate any help as I donot have any point where to start troubleshooting...

Does iOS8.1.1 resolve problems with copy&past?

since previous releases of iOS8 I'm facing problems with copy&paste of url's and data betwen application on iPad2 and 4s .
does 8.1.1 solve those problems.

You might want to follow this methodology to update ...
Follow this procedure for a Troubleshooting Methodology ... basically reset to factory default condition -BUT- be sure to do the following methodically and also to follow the part with Apple Support!
First you want to make sure you have several backups of your data and done with a couple of "different" sources. Be sure to understand what data is backed up and what is NOT on iCloud Backup and iTunes Backup. Use a variety of methods for backup ... you might check into Dropbox, in addition to your Apple options.
Then turn off your desktop anti-virus software when using iTunes for this reset to factory default. After you do that reset, then leave your iPad in its factory default state and see how it operates then. If you encounter any problems in that factory default state, then take it to Apple Support, and let them know that you have just reset it to that state with iTunes and have not put any of your data back on and it is operating in this fashion (whatever the problem is) in that pristine state. Make sure you keep that trouble ticket number, because if it has to be escalated through Apple Support, you're going to find all communications tied in with that number. If the lower level help isn't able to help you, then escalate it to a higher level to examine the problem. Keep at it with that trouble ticket number until Apple Support arrives at a solution to that problem. Be methodical and keep at it.
On the other hand, if everything is okay with the factory default condition, then restore your backup. Some people have discovered that the problem resides in the apps or something in the restored backup. If that's the case, then it's going to be trying and difficult to find out which developer's app is causing you the problem. And ... it's true ... that a developer not following Apple's instructions and guidelines for his app can CAUSE YOU TROUBLE. This kind of thing does happen from developers, especially when a new system upgrade comes out, because some developers ignore what Apple tells them about changes coming, and what they do BREAKS SOMETHING.
This is a troubleshooting methodology that you are going through. See it through to the end.

A problem with copying text from english pdf to a word file

i have a problem with copying text from english pdf to a word file. the english text of pdf turns to be unknown signs when i copy them to word file .
i illustrated what i mean in the picture i attached . note that i have adobe acrobat reader 9 . so please help cause i need to copy text to translate it .

Is this an e-book? Does it allow for copying? It is possible that the pdf file is a scan of a book?

Problem of spaces with copy-paste from Acrobat Reader X (10.1.0)

Hi all,
I have a problem when doing a copy-paste from a text in Acrobat Reader X (10.1.0). When I paste, all spaces are erased.
It does not come from the document as the problem is for every pdf.
Do someone have an idea of where the problem comes from ?

This is not the forum for Reader, but the problem probably lies with the way the file was created, and/or with the fonts used in it.

Problems doing copy/paste from Flash to Illustrator

This is a problem I've had since Flash 8: when doing a
copy/paste from Flash to Illustrator (on Windows), there's extreme
degradation of the artwork, sometimes to the extent that no actual
art is even copied. All the curves seem to be approximated with
straight line segments, but at some point it just seems to give up
even trying, leaving an unidentifiable blob for most of the object.
As I said, sometimes it doesn't even copy anything at all -- all
that shows up after pasting into Illustrator is an empty group.
The weird thing is that this process worked fine in Flash MX
2004. What could possibly have changed? I was sure with CS3 it
would be fixed, but it wasn't. I haven't tried Illustrator CS4 yet,
but copying from Flash CS4 to Illustrator CS3 produces the same
problem.
I've seen a few other reports of this problem in other
forums, but I've encountered it on every install of Flash and
Illustrator I've tried (admittedly, all Windows machines, but three
or four different ones, both XP or Vista). Can anyone here confirm
that this problem exists or doesn't exist on their computer? To
test it, create a piece of art with plenty of curves and several
colors in Flash, then copy and paste it into an illustrator
document.
If this problem is as widespread as my experience seems to
indicate it is, why hasn't it been fixed in two major revisions of
the software? Is Adobe even aware of it? If not, how can I let them
know? I'm getting majorly sick of having to deal with it.
Illustrator used to be a much larger part of my animation process,
but now I can't use it how I really want to because of the bad copy
and paste functionality.

The integration between Flash CS3 and Illustrator means you
can copy objects from Illustrator to Flash and i think if you copy
from Flash to illustrator or Photoshop, you would not get a good
results.
You can solve your problem by exporting your Flash work as
.AI.
Your idea about the ability to copy from Flash to Illustrator
is a good idea although Illustrator can not read some of the Flash
imported information correctly. But it is still a good enahcement
idea. There is a link where you can add suggestions but I do not
remember it and I am replying using mobile, so my browsing
capabilities is limited.

How can I solve the problem with copying text from Google Documents?

Ctrl+C and Ctrl+X are not always working in Google Document opened with Mozilla Firefox 30. This problem first occurred 2 days ago. No changes to the software were made.
The problem is not stable and permanent. I can successfully copy several lines from document and paste them somewhere else. And suddenly the next one is not copied using ctrl+c. Even ctrl+x is not working until I change the selection of the lines. Sometimes it begin to work after changing the selection, sometimes not.
I'm using Google Documents for a long time. I always use Firefox to work with them. And I've never had this problem before.

This problem happens for me as well. I can copy/paste from Firefox initially, but then after pasting elsewhere the Firefox page has to be refreshed in order to copy something else....

Itunes 10.5. problems with copy paste in lists

All,
I'm a DJ and every night I have an own list in itunes.
When I want to use some songs in one list in another list I simply pressed cmd+c, clicked in the other list and pressed cmd+v
That does not work anymore.
Sometimes cmd+c is grey and if not and I paste it flackers but I cannot find the song.
Others have the same experience?!?
Just experienced that if I copy from the contect Menu and then do the paste via the keypad it works.
Copy in the menu from itunes is grey?!?

The problem with copying photos from iPhoto...

Good day! I have a problem. After the system upgrade to Mac OS X(version 10.7.1) iPhoto(version 9.1.5) program was absolutely not perform adequately. I do a lot and often edit the photos using iPhoto, and then copy the finished photos on removable media. After the procedure, Copy - Paste is that the images recorded on a media without correction. Please understand this situation, so how to use iPhoto with this error then I can not.

Copy-Paste from info Panel

Info Panel is useful when you wanna count words, spaces, etc.
But today i wanted to send my client a small note about "we calibrated the frame for a thousand signs and 160 words, there's a few more"
It would have been very practical to get an easy copy paste of the values in the panel, and their labels.
Of course, i proposed an official Feature Request there.

Problem with copy/paste into WYSIWYG field?

In using Robo HTML X5 my helpfile design is a simple one, but
one issue is stumping me.
-From the TOC tab I will create a new topic, and then edit
the WYSIWYG field on the right, insert graphics, etc. But if I cut
and paste from Word 2003 into the WYSIWYG topic field, all
formatting like bold letting is stripped out, along with graphics.
The graphics have to be cut and pasted individually and I manually
have to reformat the text.
Does anyone know why a copy/paste into the WYSIWYG field is
being stripped of formatting somehow? Is there simple project
setting somewhere?

Hi reiver12367 and welcome to our community
Trust me on this. Mixing Word and RoboHelp HTML are like
mixing oil and water. You really don't want to go down any road
where formatting is maintained during a copy/paste operation.
You might see better results by right clicking the folder
(inside RoboHelp HTML) where you want the topic to be, then
selecting Import. From there, choose the Word document file type
from the drop-down on the bottom of the dialog, navigate to and
choose your Word document. You will have a couple of dialogs to
deal with and the stuff should import in.
Personally, I even avoid going that route if I can. I instead
opt for saving the Word document as pure ASCII text. Then creating
a new topic and copy/pasting the text into the topic. From there I
format as needed.

then i migrated the same to java 1.5 and this functionality got messed up.

Problem with copy control from sales document to billing document

Hi,
I have a copy control from a sales document to a billing document,
which is copying everything from the sales document, except the
conditoin values. Any ideas on why will a copy routine won't copy the
condition values from a source document? I don't even have a document
pricing procedure assigned to my billing document. Any setting, that
we can do to for the conditions to get copied from the sales document
to the billing document...just as they are in the sales document?

What setting do you have for your source sales document type to target billing document type? Select the row that shows the document type you are interested in and double click on item(on the left pane). Select the item category and do display. What value do you see under the 'Pricing Type' and 'Price Source'?
May be that is where some config setting is missing.

Vector problem after copy/paste from Excel

In the past I've been able to drag or copy and paste an image from excel into Illustrator. I've lost that ability (sometimes I'll get a shadow image copied in, but it is not in vectors and it is not editable). If I save the figure as a PDF to copy it into Illustrator as a vector formatted object I cannot figure out how to change any formatting/colors. I can select individual bars in a bar graph, I can add an outline to them, but the option for changing the color is completely absent. I am fairly new to this, but would love help. I've tried releasing the clipping masks, but that only fills in the entire body of the chart with color. This literally all worked fine yesterday (and I can modify prior charts that I already imported with no problem). I'd love some help and feedback as I am fairly new to this and could be missing something! Thanks.

I can't get a PDF picture, ai picture, or EPS figure to post on here so I don't know how useful an image will be, but I added a jpeg that shows the shadowing I get when I copy in at times. .
