There is a problem with low efficiency of automatically connect to Wi-Fi with my ipad2. It would not take quite long time to connect to wifi with my iphone and imac, but only happened on my ipad2.

Yes, I too had this problem.
I was issued an update from Apple for a new version software as well as a new version of Lightrooom and now it shows up on the desktop and in finder as it should.

Problems with printer and external HD connected via Time Capsule with Windo
Hello everyone!
In January I bought an iMac 27 "(OS version: OS X 10.6.2) and a week ago a Time Capsule 1TB.
I connected the iMac and a laptop with Windows XP SP3 both via ethernet to the TC, and to the USB port of the TC a USB hub to which I connected a Canon iP4200 and a LACIE 500GB HARD DISK.
I reformatted the hard disk file system to Lacie Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and installed MacDrive 8 in the laptop.
Now (after formatting the HD), with the iMac everything works: internet connection via ethernet or wireless, printing via ethernet or wireless as well as hard disk connection via ethernet or wireless.
Laptop, instead, is only able to connect to the internet via ethernet or wireless while it isn't able to see and use printer and external hard drive, even though I installed AirPort Utility for Windows!
The laptop also detects the AirPort disk of the TC but if I enter the (correct) password I get an error message!..
Please, somebody help me, I do not know what to do!

My HP 8740W has problems with USB3 ports, they only connect at USB2 speeds with a tested USB3 disk
The two Superspeed USB3 ports on my HP 8740W have an error and won't connect at USB3 speeds , they default to USB2 transfer speeds. It appears that I have the latest NEC drivers from HP, but this version appears to be old compared to other manufacturers offerings.
I have a new Samsung S2 1TB USB3 external disk that has been tested and is working.
Could HP please update the USB3 drivers or give me an answer as to how to fix this issue. This is an expensive workstation class machine and I expect it to work without error.
Your support would be much appreciated.Anyone have any ideas for me please?

Ipod touch with 2.0 won't connect to 4.11 with itunes 7.7
like many others, once i updated to itunes 7.7 and downloaded 2.0, my ipod touch stopped connecting to itunes on my computer. I followed all of the instructions available and went to the mac store, they told me to reinstall 10.4 then upgrade and reinstall 7.7 which i did, and it still gives the same error message.
"iTunes could not connect...(0xE8000001)"
WHAT'S THE PROBLEM!here's some more info. when i went to the mac store, they plugged my ipod in and it almost instantly responded like it had 2.0. Also when trying to restore my ipod it successfully although very slowly went through the whole process until a certain point, and now it just has the [usb => itunes] screen.
So what we've learned is that it has nothing to do whatsoever with the USB cord or the usb 2.0 hardware that was installed in my Sawtooth G4. -
Printing with HP all-in-one connected to Airport Extreme with USB
We have an HP Photosmart 2610 all-in-one, an AirPort Extreme base station, and a G-5 MacIntosh running OS 10.4.8. We can print when the all-in-one unit is connected directly to the Mac with USB cable, however, we are unable to print when the USB cable is connected to the base station. What can you suggest?

According to HP must use drivers 6.3.4 or 7.0

my problem is my iphone 4s is connected to wi-fi with full signal(3 bars) strength but freezes when browsing and says
"Cannot Open Page"
"Safari could not open page because the server stopped responding"
I already reset the iphone to its factory settings and erase all contents but still the browsing speed freezes or not searching at all. Sometimes it will work and fast but then the problem uccors every now and then. Iv'e been using iphone 4 for two years and I still have it and works fine compared to this IPHONE 4S.Settings → scroll down to Safari → in Safari settings, I selected both Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.
IF that does not work -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Finally - if problem still present -
Go to Settings>General>Reset
Reset the network settings - you will need to add the password of your home WiFi in your phone once more
The device should turn itself off & back on then go into Settings>Wifi and join your network -

have you checked via the settings of the 5800 and your car head unit's Bluetooth that it pairs automatically? my mother has a Nokia 2690 and it pairs up automatically with the car head unit's Bluetooth capabilities as soon as she starts the engine. -

i just got the new iphone five. i connected to my home wifi with no problem. when i leave and come back the phone will not automatically connect to the wifi. i have no problem's with my wife's iphone or the ipad. i went to sprint store they were no help. any suggestions?

Headphone jack automatically connects to Apple TV
Whenever I put my apple headphone into my Macbook Pro at home with WiFi the computer automatically connects to the Apple TV and does not allow me to listen with headphone. I have gone into the System Preference and tried to switch the output to the headphones but with the WiFi on it does not allow me to switch it.
Power up the three devices and then click the "Mirroring" icon in the menu bar.
Airplay is for iTunes audio and video. Mirroring shows whatever is on your computer (or iOS device) display. -
Connecting to Base Stations with an ethernet cable
Hi. Can anyone help figure this out please.
We have two airport extreme base stations at opposite ends of the building with one connected to the internet and printer etc and the other extending the network so everyone can access these services and each other.
Because they're some distance apart, we've connected the two base stations by ethernet cable with the second base station extending the network in Bridge Mode.
I can't figure out whether the ethernet cable from the main base station should go into the WAN or LAN ports on the back of the other base station. I've tried both and at the moment neither seem to be working.
Both base stations are brand new and the most recent model.
Can anyone advice on which port to sue and any settings I should be paying attention to please.

Suggest that you connect the ethernet cable from one of the LAN <-> ports on your main AirPort Extreme (AEBS) to the WAN (circle icon) on the remote AEBS. You may need to refer to some settings on your main AEBS to configure the remote AEBS correctly.
To effectively "extend" the network that your main AEBS is creating, you would configure the remote AEBS as follows using AirPOrt Utility - Manual Setup
Click the Base Station tab below the icons to name your device, establish a device password and adjust Time Zone Settings
Click the Wireless tab
Wireless Mode = Create a wireless network (Not Extend as you might think because Extend is only used if you are connecting devices using wireless only. You are connecting using Ethernet)
Wireless Network Name = Exact same name as your main AEBS network
Radio Mode = Automatic
Radio Channel = Automatic
Wireless Security = Exact same setting as on your main AEBS
Wireless Password = Exact same password as your main AEBS network
Confirm Password
Click the Internet tab
Connect Using = Ethernet
Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)
Click Update to save settings and you should be good to go. You have what is known as a "roaming" network because computers will automatically connect to the AEBS with the best signal as they "roam" around the building. The ethernet ports on the remote AEBS will be active as well in case you need to plug a device in at that location. Post back on any questions that you may have.

Duplicating stream object to new stream with lower resolution
Hi all generally I have a question, Is it possible for ams to split my original live stream to a new stream but with lower resolution, so i have two streams one with high resolution and one with low resolution?
If not I how does it Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder do? I can steam up to 3 different resolutions from one camera object. Is it possible to do also from flash?
I want to built a multi user conference application. But have some cpu usage issues, so I need a additional lower resolution stream to use for the miniature views.
Could You help me with this, any tips how could I do such a thing?
I using rtmp protocol to communicat and adobe media server 5.

Can't automatically connect to my home airport with Leopard
After I installed Leopard on my MacBook Pro, I can no longer automatically join my home (Airport) network. I have an antique (flying saucer shaped) airport hub that has worked perfectly for our home network up until now. In order to connect, I have to open Safari, wait for the Network Diagnostic button to appear, then go through the Network Diagnostic sequence. Sometimes it will ask for the password and sometimes not. I called Apple Support and they said that the new Airport utility (with Leopard) will not work on the older Airport hubs. They then transferred me to the Airport specialists, but after 15 minutes of waiting I gave up. I don't really want to spend the money to upgrade to an Airport Extreme, when the current hub works. But, on the other hand, it is a bit of a pain to go through this every time I turn on or wake up my MBP. Does anyone have any ideas how to address this problem?

I already had an iOS device before, which saved a "keychain" of the old login info for the router. This was back when the router did have WEP security. Since then, it has been reconfigured for WPA2 however my old keychain was trying to join it as WEP.
To solve this, I went to System Preferences>Network>Advanced
From here, I noticed the
[ + ] [ - ] Drag Networks into the order you prefer
Highlighting my router and hitting the [ - ] sign removed the keychain that would previously only connect as WEP. This now allowed my computer to automatically connect to the router every time I opened it or turned it on.
