A question in appending data to excel

Hi,
Just a quick question, when I tried to use "write file" component of transactions to append data (eg. 00012345) to .csv file, Excel automatically converted it from "00012345" to "12345" . Anyone can tell me how to modify the expression in the Link Editor to resolve this problem?

Be sure that the value is in quotation marks, as in "000012345", in the CSV file. This might give Excel the "hint" that it is to be treated as a string, not a number.

Questions when export data to excel

My platform
Windows2000(Chinese version).
Oracle 9i R2 charset ZHS16GBK
Patch 2323002,2632931,2499827
JDev903 + BI Beans 903a
There are two problems
1. Everything goes well. But when the project is deployed, the Export function will return a error page.
2. When export data to .csv or .txt using BIB control "ExportOptions", it appears that the chinese fonts all are displayed as "????"

We need more information on issue #1. What information does the the
error page contain? If it contains a stack trace / BI Beans error, then
please post it. If it does not, then please look for an exception
stack / error in the servlet log. And finally, does the export work
when running the project in JDeveloper?
Issue #2 can be resolved by setting the export character encoding.
What type of application are you trying to deploy (
JSP, UIX, or Generated Servlet Application )? The mechanism for
specifying the export character encoding is different for each type of
application. UTF-8 encoding works on most systems so that is a safe
default, but the Chinese version of Windows may require a more specific
character set, such as WINDOWS-936 ( Simplified Chinese ), BIG5 (
Traditional Chinese ), or WINDOWS-950 ( Traditional Chinese).

I have a requirement to insert Company Logo in excel sheet.
Is it possible?
Currently we have decided to have the logo already in the spreadsheet and append the data in excel under the logo.

Upload data from Excel to Internal table

Hi,
I am facing a peculiar problem in uploading the data in excel sheet to internal table.
The excel file contains material number and product hierarchy number. The product hierarchy number for some material is downloaded as 5.73101E17 for the value 573100910115782000. Though I expand the sheet the display is the same 5.73101E17. When i upload the sheet using the f'n module "ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE" the value is taken as it is (5.73101E+17) into the internal table which is wrong. I tried to change the data type to type n. Then the value is uploaded as 5731011700000000.
Please propose a solution to this without having to change the format of the column from general to "number without decimals"

I have a requirement to upload data from excel sheet to ztable .
Here i need tp provide the user with the execution statistics like
1.Number of records read from the Excel spread-sheet
2. Number records processed successfully
3. Number records with Error
4. Name and location of Error Log-file (text-file format)

i have a problem with the function module "ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE". I will call this function module with vba to load data from excel to sap with a Buttonclick. I have copied this function module and set it remotable. But i can´t call it from excel.
Can you give me some tips how can i
upload data from excel with vba by click a button.
The problem seems the function: call method cl_gui_frontend_services=>clipboard_import in the function module, because when i comment this function call the vba-call is true but no results.
How can I call the function module correct with vba?

Upload data from excel (not the excle file) into SAP

Guys,
how can we upload data from excel sheet into SAP? I mean just the data not the entire file,
I have a requirement where user press a button in excel sheet and the data in the sheet will get uploaded into SAP.
I am sure we have to use BAPI and some VB programming for macros, I will really appriciate if anyone can help how to achive this.

Script to upload data from excel to table.

Hi,
Am having a different scenario.
I need to create a script to load the data from excel into oracle table.
For eg: When user1 has emp1.csv file then the datas should be loaded into emp table. at the same time user 2 has emp2.csv file then the datas should be inserted in the same emp table. Likewise my user's has different .csv files of having same template. I need to upload all those datas into the same table.
How can i achieve it

Hi Prasad,
You can use Sql loader tool (sqlldr) in APPEND mode to load the data from csv file to the target table. The APPEND would not delete the existing data from the table.
Your control file may look like this:
