A questionable toolbar has installed itself on my browser. How do I get rid of it?

Operating sys=windows 7; firefox 15. The toolbar is called appbario9

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

• Postaleads has attached itself to my mozilla, how do I get rid of it?

A company called Postaleads has invaded my Mozilla. It is a "sales" window that appears anytime I am in a site that might sell something. Of course Postaleads is no help. I really wish there was some way of suing them for invasion of my computer. I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of this announce. Thank you

hello, you may have malicious addons present. please perform all these steps:

• I installed a music downloader Imesh which has taken over my Firefox browser, how can I get rid of it?

I installed a program called iMesh to play music on my computer via the internet. When I used Firefox now the search windows have been taken over by 'iMesh Web Search' and they don't bring up the same lists when I searched Firefox previously; e.g. it is very difficult to get 'Hotmail' to come up. I have uninstalled the iMesh program from the computer (not just deleted the icon), but my Firefox remains invaded. Please can you help?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

• ITunes on iCloud has created unwanted multiple playlists. How can I get rid of them?

iTunes on iCloud has created unwanted multiple playlists. How can I get rid of them?

Hi, if this is in regards to your library simply open up itunes and do the following steps:
Click File
Scroll down to "show duplicates"
A list will then appear of your duplicate song titles.
Be sure to CAREFULLY review each song to make sure it is a duplicate ( as I have some music that is the same song but live, acoustic etc...)
Proceed to manually delete each song from the list and leave alone any song that you wish to keep.
For playlists, you will need to hit the name tab so that your doubles line up, from there you will have to manually delete them, it helps to hold the Control button to select multiple songs as a time ( they will be highlighted) then when your done selecting the songs you wish to delete, right click your mouse and select the delete option from the window tab.
Best of luck, please rate my response for help!

• Yahoo installed a Yahoo tab in my Firefox toolbar that I DO NOT want there- how do I get rid of it for good?

Yahoo took over my Firefox- help!
About two weeks ago for some unknown reason Yahool basically took over my Firefox. All of a sudden it was my preferred search engine, Yahoo! TAB shows up in my toolbar (can't remove it) and in general it's been doing some goofy things. I swear I didn't give out any permission for this, but I hate it and it's driving me crazy (actually temp swithched back to Explorer). Tried uninstall and reinstall, but it's still there. Read somewhere that Yahoo hides it's files in hard to figure out places so it can't be deleted. Can anybody help me figure out how to get rid of Yahoo? (ESPECIALLY THE TOOLBAR TAB AT THE TOP) Many thanks!

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

• I cannot get rid of "glarysoft", which has superceded Firefox as my browser; uninstall doesn't get rid of it.

A wellmeaning friend suggested I install "glarysoft", when I was setting up my PC laptop, running W7. Later, I realized that it was unnecessary, and was slowing my computer down, so I uninstalled everything I could find. My problem is, "glarysoft" continues to override my Firefox browser's display. This means that, even though I'm running Firefox, I cannot take advantage of any Firefox features or add-ons, because all that is displayed is the "glarysoft" browser page, with a tiny, little "Firefox" rectangle in the upper left hand corner. Is there any way, short of a total wipe and reinstall, to get rid of this pernicious critter? Thanks, in advance.

Hello oaklander, it seems (from your system details) that you have it as your browser home page, see [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How%20to%20set%20the%20home%20page How to set the home page]
if the above is not helpful you can try the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/searchreset/ SearchReset] add-on, (the add-on backs up and then resets some of your search preferences and home page to their default values, and then uninstalls itself).
thank you

• I keep getting a message at the top of my e-mails screen saying the nessage I am looking for has previously been moved or deleted. how do I get rid of it

When I open Outlook to view my e-mails I get a message at the top which says--the e-mail I am looking for has been removed or deleted and shows a "Close" button. It is annoying more than anything else but I can't seem to get rid of it and I don't know where it is coming from.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
See Outlook support for help with that issue.

• New nano uploaded or has songs I didnt pick! How do i get rid of them???

Just plugged in the Nano I got my husband for Christmas, and there's a library of HIDEOUS songs that we didn't buy, upload or otherwise ask for.
I THOUGHT I got rid of them when I deleted the library in Itunes, but its still on the Nano and I want them to GO AWAY!
I tried reading the online manual but I am still lost. Any ideas on how to get these things gone???
And even better how to not get unwanted songs on there in the future?
Bridget

There are several methods of deleting songs from the iPod and/or iTunes, and the method you choose depends on the settings you have selected for your iPod.
If you have the iPod set to automatically transfer songs, and you no longer want a copy of those songs on either the iPod or in iTunes, simply delete the songs in iTunes. Highlight the songs you no longer want then right click and select "clear", or from the edit menu select "clear". Next time you connect the iPod, the songs will be deleted from there also.
Only do this if you no longer want the songs on both the iPod and your computer.
You can also use the "only update checked songs" method in the iPod options (right click on the iPod in the source list in iTunes and select options, then select "only update checked songs"). With this preference checked, you can remove the check mark from the songs in iTunes that you no longer want on the iPod. The next time you connect the iPod, those unchecked songs will be removed from the iPod whilst still being retained in iTunes. You can check and uncheck songs as you change your mind about what songs you want to put on the iPod.
If you have the iPod set to manually manage your songs, and you want to delete the song from the iPod only, then select the iPod in the source list of iTunes. Highlight the song(s) you no longer want on the iPod, right click and select "clear", or use the edit menu as previously mentioned.
This method only deletes the songs from the iPod, so if you no longer want the song in iTunes also, you'll need to delete it from there separately using the method above.
If you are using iTunes version 7 or later, these settings can be found in the summary screen.
If you want to delete everything from the iPod and completely erase the hard drive and start from scratch, then you can restore the iPod to factory settings.
Only do this if you have the songs in your iTunes library, or a back up somewhere other than the iPod itself.

• I had an australian appstore account, but now I want to change it to another country, but it has 23 cents in it. How can I get rid of this? Thanks

Well, the question is self-explanatory. Sorry for any english mistake, I'm not a native english speaker.

Yurki,
The only way to clear out that remaining balance is to contact iTunes Customer Service.
Once they remove it, you can then change the country.
