A/R and A/P Rounding Customization

I have tried the above Functionally:-
I am trying to roundoff the total for the A/R and A/P Documents. The problem is I am not able to select rounding off for A/R and A/P at the same time. If I Select the option of rounding off in (Administratioin>>System Initilizatioin>>Document Settings.) for A/P Invoice, it becomes invisible for A/R Invoice.
Is there a way to do it through SDK, please guide me if anyone has done it.

Please try the option
Document Settings -> Rounding Method -> By Document.
Just a suggestion.

i use an external HD and thats fine.. all files are in there. But I have no idea why my itunes app is getting stuck.
Am I the only person this is happening to? What can I do to correct this problem?

Hi Aneesh,
In a nutshell you have to do the following steps.
1. As mentioned in the administration when you choose rounding by documents then the rouding does not appera in the documents.
2. If and whee you choose rounding by currency please take the following measures:
a. Define a rounding G/L account in the G/L account determination which is generally the miscellaneous expenses account in this rounding account.
b. In administration set the rounding method as you need . Generally it would be round to one.
Now check out any document you would find that the system is rounding the aount automatically.

I have "upgraded" from Pages 2.0.2 to Pages 5.5.3 and can no longer customize my line spacing. Does anyone know if there are more than 4 options for line spacing?

Is it possible to customize line spacing in Pages 5.5.3? My previous Pages 2.0.2 allowed me to choose spacing in 0.1 increments, but as far as I can tell Pages 5.5.3 only offers four options. Very limiting for creative documents.

MIRO- excise and VAT duties Rounding off

Hi all,
A PO will have 20 items. Those 10 items will have excise duties and VAT amount. At the time of PO these excise duties and the VAT amount should not get rounded off. But while the user is doing MIRO, the value of these excise duties and the VAT amount should come to the screen as rounded off. Is it possible? If yes please suggest me.

Can't add pin it button or amazon button and can't exit customization

I cannot add the pin it button or the amazon button through customization. I also have a problem with the whole customization process. I cannot exit. I have a little screen thing on customization that when I tried to open was in Japanese and really afraid of what it could have done to my computer. Here is the screen shot of it on customization.

You can try to click the Restore Defaults button in the Customize palette.
You can check for problems with preferences.
Delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

Cheque Writer and Deposit Advice Process Customization

Hi,
My client has a unique requirement of ordering the cheques location-wise rather then the default organization-wise. Also my client wants to add FYTD US tax balance criteria and show some calculations based on that, so there are functions within the report which calls these package and do the necessary calculations related to FYTD.
To include these 2 customizations, what could the best possible way to customize the 2 processes/packages. Now, I dont think we can handle all these at the report label, hence the packages related to cheque writer/deposit advice has to be customized also. But, these 2 processes are called by PYUGEN and the PYUGEN only calls the seeded processes. How can we make PYUGEN call the customized packages? If that is not possible, do you think its a good idea to go for full customization of the packages and the report and run them separately w/o involving PYUGEN?

Hi,
PUYGEN is a pro*C wrapper around plsql packages. I would keep that.
The actual packages called are stored as data within tables. So that gives you the possibility of
- changing the seeded packages
- creating new packages from scratch, and modifying the seeded data to point to your package.
The first customizations seems so easy (changing the order by of the driving query) that i would opt for a change of the seeded package.
Pay_magnetic_blocks and pay_magnetic_headers can help you further.

MSCA and MWA Mobile Applications Customization

I am trying to add new business logic on CycleCountPage in MWA (Whse Mgmt Responsibility).
I copied some .class files from the server and de-compile all of them and save the new files with CustomFileName.java
Then change the classes’ code to meet the new file names and add my new logic in the following files
•     Function     CustomCycleCountFunction.java
•     Page          CustomCycleCountPage.java, CustomLotSerialPage.java
•     Field          CustomItemLOV.java
•     Listener      CustomCycleCountFListener.java
Then I successfully compiled the new classes on the server using javac and generate the new .class files in the same original file’s folders
And change the .class files attributes to 755.
Then I added a new function and add it to the menu to run the new function class
It appears in the menu but it gives me
Unexpected error o >
It seems that the application couldn’t read the new function class file
Please tell me where to copy the new classes and what are the needed steps to run the new function.

Hopefully Word's auto-save feature will have saved most of your work.
If Word will not allow you to do anything, you have to force-quit the evil thing:  > Force Quit...

Tables and Cells - can all corners and cells be rounded?

I need to recreate a form and it requires a lot of round "cubes" thoughout. If these were squares, I would be doing this creating tables and cells but because most everything in it seems to have rounded corners, thats making me question the best way of going about this. Is this possible somehow?

Another way to do it would be to add anchored objects inside your table to mimic the rounded corners as shown in the following screen capture.
The first exemple is relatively easy, needing only one object per cell, except for the top row and the left column which need nothing.
The second one is more difficult, especially for the surroundings which needs more than one anchored object (especially the last cell which inherited five of them).
But both of these are still tables and can be adjusted as needed in width and height.
This could prove usable if you can trust the people doing the editing inside the table and this doesn't mess with the printing.
(the inspiration for abusing tables and anchored objects in this way comes from Michael Murphy).

Firefox 4 just updated and I no longer have a Home icon in my toolbars ( and none in the customize section ) . Help

update is missing a Home icon for the toolbars. Can I find this elsewhere ?

If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or hold down the Alt key, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear
Make sure that the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

Logic pro and soundtrack pro round trip not working right?

Hi I am using soundtrack pro as a round trip from logic pro do reduces some background noise in some audio files. This was working great. Now I know with the noise reduction I just have to save the file and it updates in logic. But sometimes I was putting compression on the audio file after the noise reduction as well in soundtrack pro, I then I hit render to selection as the compression was a real time effect. After that I hit save and closed and it updated in logic. This all worked fine until today. Now just doing the noise reduction and saving all works fine. But if I put any real time effects on and do the render to selection, sound track pro just closes itself straight after it has done the render to selection and therefore I lose my work I have done on it and it doesnt update the logic project as it was saved.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Just checked it out thanks, but this wont help me on this one. Where I may have put real time effects on like eq or compression I then need to render to action, after that I could flatten audio. But what is happening is that when I have put real time effects on then go to render to action (so them effects now become part of the action list) once its done the render to action it just shuts it self straight away, before I even get a chance to save it. But thanks for the guess, actually showed me something I didn't know anyway, so learnt something!! Thanks.
Thinking I might try uninstalling and installing again see if that solves it?

UPDATE STATISTICS and merry-go-round scanning

if I do UPDATE STATISTICS [table] SQL Server internally scans the table multiple times for different statistics objects (good description by Kendra Little at

Does anybody know whether these scans are executed parallel to each other and can profit from merry-go-round scan mechanism? (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms191475.aspx).

Catalyst and HTML/CSS Round Trip with Flash?

Question one: I was wondering if Catalyst will be able to assist in importing into Flash an existing (or under development) HTML page which contains flash apps --to make technical changes such as insert more multimedia? audio, swf, jpgs, etc?
I have a nearly completed html/css page that contains Flash etc., but I'd like to add a new swf at the beginning of the page and edit it in Flash to be sympatico with the overall style established in Dreamweaver. I am using CS4 Premium Creative Suite.
I know how to bring Flash files into Dreamweaver but a round trip would be so great! Can Catalyst do it? or what do you recommend?
Question two: I am hoping to give Catalyst Beta a try where do I sign in for it?

Hey Joy,
Currently there isn't any way to go between Flash Catalyst and Flash CS4. You can bring the SWFs you create in Catalyst into Dreamweaver in the same way you bring in other SWFs, but it won't be able to edit or change any of your current Flash files.

Latest FLASH plugin crashes both Mac and PC with NO customizations or hardware acceleration

Never had a problem before until I updated my flash plugin a few weeks ago.
FLASH will shut off a vulnerable plugin, so the only way you can access content is to update.
There are NO customizations and NO hardward acceleration on either Mac 10.6.8 or PC Windows 8.1
BOTH computers are crashing.
I've sent about 10 reports alone today!
I've cleared my cache, reset my permission, and all is well.
