Hi Experts,
We transpored a generic datasource from D to Q in R3. When i checked in the log display for transports, the error msg reads..
Extract structure ZOXDEV0018 is not active
Message no. RJ033
Diagnosis
You have tried to test the extraction of a DataSource with an inactive extraction structure (ZOXDEV0018).
Procedure
Activate the structure ZOXDEV0018 in the data dictionary.
When i checked whether ZOXDEV0018 it is active in D and cannot be found be in Q. Also as the error msg reads is it really becasue someone tried to test extraction from the datasource..

hi Dave,
you have to include the extract structure ZOXDEV0018 in your transport request.
in R/3, run RSO2 and double click the extract structure or SE11 type in the extract structure, menu 'go to'->object directory entry, in next small screen change the package, and create/choose request.

Hi,
We are facing an issue of data not loaded to the planning area , realized this after planning book does not show any values in the current week bucket. However the required values show up in the Infocube. Our setup is as below on SCM 7

> /SAPAPO/RTSINPUT_CUBE program -
> Planning area ---> planning book
Recent transports included selelction variant for the above program and now we see that some Key Figures are missing from Planning area from the KEY FIG assignement tab option from the above RTSINPUT_CUBE program.
Can any one please help

Unable to delete master data line items - Master data object CCHIUSRAM

Hello
We have an issue with the Master data Object CCHIUSRAM - CC Hier User Auth Maintenance. It has only master data and no texts no hierarchy. It is not time-dependent. It has /BIC/PCCHIUSRAM, /BIC/SCCHIUSRAM as database table only. This master data is not being used in any infoproviders.
In development client we are able to delete the line items of the Master data along with entering line items. RSRV check gives green for all checks.
In Test / Production client we are not able to delete the line items of the Master data. We are only able to enter master data lines and if we change any item then it creates another entry in the table.
Tried SE14 & RSDMD_DEL_MASTER_DATA - both does not help.
Did ST05 trace, could not find something concrete.
If any one has faced such an issue with any master data item then a response is much appreciated. It has become a bottleneck for us.

Thanks for the response.
I can do this in EBD, but it is working fine in EBD. I cannot do this activity in EBP / EBT as the systems are closed and I cannot activate directly in EBT / EBP.
Besides, I have recently transported active versions of the object in EBT / EBP all again twice to see if it changes anything.
My guess is that, there is something stupid may be I am missing somewhere.

Error while using mail adapter

Dear All,
We have recently transported a scenario from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1.
In this scenario a BPM is configured which on getting any error triggers an alert mail (Mail adapter configured).
Now while testing in PI 7.1, mail message is getting generated but mail are not received and following error is coming:
"Delivering the message to the application using connection Mail_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.xi.srt.BubbleException: Failed to call the endpoint [null "null"]; nested exception caused by: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 0"
If anybody has faced this type of error kindly guide me in resolving this error.

Check if you have given the correct details of the mail-server in your receiver mail CC.....also confirm that the mail server is up and running....

How to remove the complete ALE configuration for a given system

Hello everybody,
Through ALE ,data is transferred between a number of SAP systems and the necessary ALE setups are in place.
Now,a particular SAP system,which used to be a receivor to the central SAP system,is to be retired.
Hence,the associated ALE set up is to be completely removed from the central SAP system.
Is the following sequence correct?If not and I have missed something,please enlighten me with the correct sequence.
1.Removal of the receivor logical system and its assignment to client ,through transaction SALE.
2.Removal of partner profile, through transaction WE20.
3.Removal of RFC destinations,through transaction SM59.
4.Removal of transactional ports for the logical system,through transaction code WE21.
5.Removal of Distribution model between the retiring system and the central SAP system.
(a)Regarding distribution model,I have a question-if the distribution model is maintained such that it contains the linking relationships between the central system and several receivor systems(in addition to the one I wish to remove),then is it possible to remove only the desired linkage and not touch the rest?
(b)Through BD64,I have tried but I am able to delete only the entire distribution model as a whole,while I would like to keep the distribution model and delete just one of the nodes,so as to cut the connection between only central system and the retiring system.
This is so because the other receivor systems are working fine,involving a lot of batchjobs and I am afraid that deleting the distribution model wholly will create unnecessary trouble.

Assuming the change in question was carried out in the development system. Changes to fields in tables should in most cases be captured in transports. Assuming it was a transportable change then go to the development system and execute transaction SE16 and query Rev-Trac table /RSC/T_MFM_4T filtering by TABLENAME.
On executing the query you should see a list of transports involved with changes to the transport. You can then check to see if there is a recent transport associated with the change - if so then you can find out who created the transport by using standard SAP functionality."
If you find this doesn't help, then please contact your Rev-Trac Administrator who can then log a support request on our support portal at www.xrsc.com

How to trace the RevTrac carrying changes for a given system table?

In our company we have a case of a change no one in the team states to have done, therefore we do not know the RevTrac number that carries the changes. Currently, the development system is different from the QA, staging and production systems for our ERP.
Is there a transaction/program that traces changes for a given table and field specified accross a given environment-client?

I recently transported the 0FI_GL_10 datasource to preproduction. when i am trying to load the data in PrePod we are getting this error message.

did you try doing RSRV on the datastore object??
are you using the nw2004s data flow??
if using 3.x data flow ,skip PSA and try reloading it.

Update termination record found in SM13 - material document posting error

Hi All,
A record was found in SM13 relating to missing material document and accounting document. When 'update header' button is clicked in SM13 selecting that record, the resultant pop up shows report name SAPLZ2K_MB_BUS2028. And when 'update status' button is clicked it shows error description '00 671: ABAP/4 processor: LOAD_NO_ROLL'.
Since update was termianted, the material document could not be found in database though MSEG entries in SM13 shows that material document number.
Help required to interpret the above scenario and what could be the root cause for the update termiantion.

Firstly, please check whether was there any recent transport containing changes relating to the ZGS_CONV_NET tcode or the below standard report imported into this system leading to inconsistencies.
Also, please check space critical objects in DB02.
Also, check the update status in SM13, it should be "Active".
Finally, Contact the user M124356 and ask him/her as to what are they doing with the Z tcode. You might get a clue over there.

To change the domain controller you have do these steps:
Prerequisites
Because the domain controller can only be moved as long as it is functioning, you must always configure a backup domain controller.
Procedure
To move the domain controller to another SAP System:
    Configure the SAP System you want to use as the new domain controller as the backup domain controller.
    Activate the previous domain controller as the backup domain controller.
Result
The previous domain controller becomes the backup domain controller. The SAP System that you configured as the backup domain controller becomes the new domain controller.
Once you have done this.Then change the DIR_TRANS as
<host>\sapmnt\trans.As Sunny has mentioned already, check the host file entries and share/access permission on this folder for user SAPService<SID>,<SID>ADM.
And then distribute the configuration to all participating systems.

Issue with the Total in BW Report

Hi,
We have recently transported the Aggregates in the Production environment. Now we are facing absurd problem.When we are executing the report the Total given by BW is not matching with the exact total of the Values.
Example:
                      Values (BW Total)    Values (Exact Totals)
1                      10                            10
2                     10                            10
3                     10                             10
4                     10                             10
5                    10                             10
Total Row         53                             50
All the Characteristics or Nodes are same as before. We have issue with the Key Figure and Calculated Key Figure.
There is no pattern followed in the variation of the totals.Please help; let me know if you need more information.

Please check if ll the data is rolled up in the aggregates. Also check the consistency of aggregates from RSRV.

Missing integration with Learning Solution in Predefined Performance Apprai

We have recently transported Predefined Performance Management to our
production system. The integration scenario with SAP Learning solution
and SAP Compensation were checked while configuring Predefined
Performance Appraisal Templates.
The integration with Learning Solution is reflected in our DEV server;
when adding an action in the Competency and Development goal in an
employee document a "Mandatory Assignment" option pops up which brings
the course catalog defined in the Training and Event Module.
The same was transported to the QAS; but the "Mandatory Assignment"
option is not popped up while adding an action in the Competency and
Development goal.
Please advice on the corrective action on the missing option "Mandatory
Assignment" when adding action in Competency and Development Goals.

Object found by SUIM, not visible in PFCG (same in AGR_1251 and UST10S)

Dear All,
In SUIM I get some roles listed when I search for a specific authorization object (S_USER_AGR in this case). Wehn I look at the role via PFCG however, the object is not visible.
When I look at the role/profile via tables:
- AGR_1251for the role : object S_USER_AGR not present
- UST10S for profile: S_USER_AGR is present
It seems that the output from UST10S is the one giving the actual authorization (as the testuser seems to have access to S_USR_AGR).
What can I do to have the PFCG listing the real/actual authorizations?

Don't let the wonder go away:-)) Check why that role was inconsistent at the first place.
1 - Check the role if its out of sync in Dev- Production as well. (Assuming you have already corrected this in Test sysh tem by creating new profiles).
2 - Check out the recent transports for that role. Check out the status of those transports(RC=0/RC=4/8/12). If not RC=0 then whats the error message.
3 - Check out if there was a system refresh recently carried out in your test environment. If yes then from which system this refresh is carried out. check out the role status in that system as well.
Run PFUD for User Master Data Reconciliation.Hope this will resolve the issues for all the roles in your system.

Could not Locate Workbook in Production system ?

Can any one explain me the procedure to transport workbook from Dev to Prod.
I have recently transported some queries and workbook . Transportation went fine , I am able to see the queries in Production system . But i failed to locate all my workbooks in Production system . I have searched for the work books with Workbook ID and with description but it is of no use. I can see my transported work book in Meta data Repository.

i am a bit clear now.
I have 30 workbooks in production system , they are not in dev , I mean 30 workbooks are directly created and assigned in production system.
Now i have created 10 new workbooks in development. My devlopment system has only 10 new workbooks.
as per my understanding from your reply is ' If i transport the role i can only have 10 newly created workbooks in production and loose 30 workbooks . Which i don't want .
i want these 10 workbooks to transport in to production system without effecting existing 30 workbooks in production system
