A rectangle box with four options, Restart,Sleep,Cancel and Shut Down appears some times when I boot up, how can I stop this from happening?
A rectangle box come up sometimes when I boot up my computer, it says, Are you sure you want to shut down your computer now? and has four boxes Restart, Sleep,Cancel and Shut Down. How can I get rid of this annoying occurance?
That box is normally invoked with Control-Eject.

It was very hard to see what the box says because the message displays for less than one second. However, I was able to record it with my iphone and pause it until I got a shot of the message. The box says the following:
"Do you want the application “java” to accept incoming network connections?
Clicking deny may limit the application’s behavior. This setting can be changed in the Firewall pane of Security preferences."
I did make some changes. I will see if it works.

i have macbook 5,2 mac osx 10.5 leopard, my problem is every 60 sec. a pop up on desktop restart, sleep, cancel, and shut down and the desktop dim also i already adjust the sleep time to longer time but nothing happen, and every time i shut down my laptop he go restart again i canot of my laptop, i shut down and before he restart again i push the power botton the laptop is off and if i start my laptop not start 2 to 5 time i remove the battery again fix then laptop start. any body can help me about this problem may only the setting but i dont have idea..... please help thanks

after instal baytrail driver, without restart i instal gpu driver direct from intel

Hi, I share an iTunes account with my wife. Sometimes she gets my iMessages and I don't and vice versa. Also if people face time me it goes to her phone. How can I stop this from happening?
You can share the same Apple ID in
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: here
But for all other Apple services like:
FaceTime, iMessage, iCloud, etc, one of you should use a different Apple ID. -
I'm new in the Mac World. In November I bought a MacBook Pro. I love my MacBook, however, a couple of days ago when I turn on my MacBook and log in, a window or box prompts up for about one second and then dissapears. I'm afraid that may be a virus or trojan that may be running behind the screen. How do I fix this? Are there any applications that I can run to detect what is happening to my computer.

I have a new iPhone 4S and have noticed that when I text a friend with an iPhone it automatically send the message via imessage and sends the text twice, how can I stop this from happening?
Your phone is setup from default with iMessage turned on. Your friends phone obviously isn't. I have a friend that has an iPhone 3G[S] with an old phone plan that didn't require a data package and he's just been swapping the sim card for 5 years. When he's at home, his phone is on wifi and it sends over iMessage. When he's at work on 3G the phone defaults back to text message because he doesn't have a data plan to send iMessage over. The phone isn't actually sending 2 messages. You send in iMessage and if the other phone is off of iMessage, it will resend to that phone as a green text message. That person never got the blue iMessage you tried to send because their iMessage wasn't working.

I am trying to use tab groups. My problem is that everytime I restart Firefox, any tab groups I made in the previous session are no longer there. How do I stop this from happening?
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I have changed my Apple ID from an old email to a new one. But It keeps coming up with my old email and asking for my old password. How do i stop this from happening and get it onto my new one? Its on my Ipad and iphone 5, please help as its doing my head it
How do you update it? Basically what has happened my password was disabled for "security reasons" on sunday (21/10/12), so i tried to reset it, but for some reason i couldnt get into my old email (probably because i havent used it for 2 years), so i read on here i could swap it to a new email that i currently use (which is what i have done) ive swapped everythin over to it (facetime, iCloud etc) but keeps coming up with old email and asking for password

When using my new nano 7 with nike+, my music stops after the 30 minute voice alert even though I have set my run/workout for over 30 minutes. It also cancels/deletes that run/workout. This has happened several times. How can I keep this from happening?
If possible I would arrange for a good service center to go over it. Hopefully they have a variety of parts in stock. They can test and verify all is working. The previous attempts are based on guesses by the person at the other end of the phone without diagnostic tests to assess the culprit. It is extremely unlikely for a webcam to fail & for it & a Mic to fail together should be an indicator to a good technician it is something else. EG Motherboard

my laptop has been stolen (the Batserds) now is windows protected by password but if they get inside and use firefox with sync they could come a long way. How can i stop that from happening. Can I block that laptop from syncing? thx Rick

My iPod froze the other day and deleted all my music and then it wouldn't connect to my iTunes. Now it will connect to my iTunes and it syncs my music but when I unplug it from my computer it restarts itself and deletes all my music that I just put on it. How do I stop it from restarting itself all the time?

Occasionally, I am interrupted when a transparent grat film comes down covering the screen, accompanied be s black box with the message that I need to restart the computer. The message is written in several different languages. There is NOT an Apple icon, but there is a power button icon with the message. What is this and how can I get it to stop happening?
