A report to show the discount given for each order

Is there a standard report that will list the discount given for an order and also how much (in terms of percentage) as compared with the total sales value?

Hi,
I believe that this discount is a condition in your pricing procedure, and not a dicount given in FI, right?
If is a condition in your pricing procedure, you can create a LIS structure to save this discount in a cumulative way.
Or, you can construct your own report through a query (SQ01) or a Z report based on the Logical Database (SLDB transaction), logical database AAV is the more indicated.

My tabs no longer show the correct icon with each one, just generic ones now?

I have Windows 8.1 and the newest version of Firefox. My tabs used to show the website icon for each tab. Now there are only 4 correct icons and the others have a generic blue disc in a box. I liked just having the recognizable icons. Can I get that back?

You can check these prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page and make sure that they have the default value true.

You can open the <b>about:config</b> page via the location bar and you can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

Report doesnt show the text for employee ids.....

Hi guys,
I am facing the following issue.
We have a report which is fetching data from the infocube.Whenever we check the report we are facing the issue : report doesnt show the text for ~10 employee ids,its showing the key in both key and text columns, its showing both text and key for the remaining employee ids.We checked the master data for employee id and it contains master for the employee ids which are not displayed text in the report.
Can any body help on this.

Hi Prasad,
for your infoobject do you have all three texts available (short, medium and long)? Are all three loaded? You might have the wrong text displayed in your report. Check if you have the short, medium or long texts displayed. Dont forget to check the languages too ....

Custom report to get the vacation hours for the coming year befor time eval

Hi Gurus,
We have this strange requirement for the vacation hours. We need to write a report that shows the remaining vacation hours for the coming year. My functional guys told me that we will get this after we run the time evaluation for each employee. but our requirement is to get these hours before time eval and write them to a flat file.
They told me that we need to go through RPTIME00 program and get the logic where it calculates the vacation hours for the coming year. but the time schema is really big and to analyze this, it will take a long time (at least for me).
So, did anybody came across this kind of situation? Please help me.

From there you can view following things:
1. Vendor Invoice = Reference
2. Document type = KR and RE for Invoices
3. Po Number
4. Amount
you can enable there many fields as per your requirement.

Reports available in the Business Package for MSS and ESS

Hi,
I have searched sdn.sap.com throughout looking for a comprehensive list of reports available in the business packages for both MSS and ESS, i got a little bit of joy and found some of the MSS reports but not all on sdn.sap.com, can anyone please advise where i would find such information on both these packages, just to re-iterate, i am looking for a list of reports these business packages offer? any help much appreciated.

(1) ESS- We built our own custom PORTAL role/workset in which one of the worksets we created is called "Tools and Forms". Under that workset, we placed various pages/iViews that either are simple URL iViews that link to external documents and such (like vacation request forms since they do not do online leave requests yet) as well as a couple ot t-code iViews that run reports in ECC for the employee. Nothing very mind blowing there. Just some content creation on the portal side.....oh, and some config on the backend to create a Homepage Framework Area Page and all for it (I liked that part!)
(2) Wow....talk about perfect timing...I just had to document the way MSS sees the MDT reports in it's "reporting" area yesterday! haha Here goes the quick explaination....in configuration for MDT, you have various "scenarios". These kinda determine which "groups" of reports will show in MDT. For MSS for the Reporting webdynpro/service, the scenario is RPT0 (in ECC 5.0, at least). Soooo if you look at the function CODES assigned to RPT0, you will see several for Training and one for Accounting (Cost Centers)...you can reference the function CODES listed back to the "pool"/library of function codes a bit up/previous in the same config area for MDT(I think it is called "Define Function Codes"). However, there is one more piece you will see listed under RPT0....it is a DIRECT call to function MODULE "HR_HIS_READ" (this was a bugger to find because I could not find the "Maternity" report listed in the function codes and had to figure out where the heck it was coming from! haha). Anyways....what the function MODULE actually does is call the HR Information System (HIS) passing it the RPT0/MSS scenario. This returns the particular reports for Employee Data and Time&Attendance. You can see this if you run the HR_HIS_READ function directly and enter RPT0 for the second input value (first and third are not needed or you can just enter "*". Sooooo that is how the "magic" happens. Hope that explained it. From there, you can simply config you own scenario/reports to add into MSS if you like.

There is no version of Excel for iPads. iPads come with something that lets you view the contents of Excel files but it implements only the common easy features and there are (literally) hundreds of things you can do in Excel that it doesn't know how to show on the screen, including some functions.
If you intend to work with spreadsheets on an iPad I suggest you buy Numbers for iPad
http://www.apple.com/apps/iwork/numbers/
which understands more (but still not 100%) of the things that Excel does. It is so cheap that you can probably afford to buy a copy just to see whether it does what you want.
If you are doing things with spreadsheets and intend to be primarily working on iPads then I suggest you actually use Numbers on a Mac as well, rather than using Excel at all.

1. Adobe(all versions)

Take a look at the Asset Intelligence reports in the software section. You may get a list of computers with a product installed, and you might have to use that list to find the primary users based on user device affinity.

Can we create a report painter report which shows the details of CC/CE/IO?

I am trying to create a report painter report which shows the details of cost elements,cost centers and internal orders in a single section.I am able to create reports with 2 characteristics (like CC/CE or IO/CE etc.) but not with 3 characteristics (CE/CC/IO) which is my case.I am trying to get data something like below.Is this even possible using report painter?I will appreciate if any one could suggest how to do this.

Synonyms can be created for objects that do not yet exist.

thats tough man, yeah exchanging it is the best option. But why do people always leave a message saying" i'll probably just by an ipod" and it's usually followed by, "even though i don't like apple or ipod" . I mean fine, if u feel like giving up on the zen micro thats fine, i personally don't care if you're going to buy an ipod. for god sakes ipod isn't even the next alternati've mp3 players, theres plenty. how do i fix my printer when it won't show the print preview for web pages? it worked for a while and now it doesn't. printer is an hp officejet 7310 all-in-one.

I would suspect this is a hardware issue. The rollers are probably having issues picking up the relatively smooth thick media. You might have better results be cleaning the paper pickup rollers with a damp paper towel. Also make sure the paper is snugly loaded and the paper guides have been correctly positioned.

How can I get Messages to show the correct time for read receipts?

Messages in Mountain Lion shows the wrong time for read receipts. For example, my iPad will show a message was read at 3:37 pm but if I open Messages on my MacBook, the read receipt shows the time that I opened the Messages app as opposed to the time the message was actually read. This is not too much of an issue if my iPad is handy, but really, shouldn't Messages on my MacBook be able to show the correct time the message was read? It syncs all the other infromation with Messages on iOs.
I should mention that if Messages is running on my MacBook when the recipient reads the message, then it does show the correct time the message was read. It's if Messages was not running and I re-launch it that the read receipt time gets mixed up.

As far as I am aware Messages marks or time stamps an iMessage at the time of receipt rather then the time you got around to reading it.
I will admit that in most cases reading and receiving as the app opens will be near enough the same time in some conversations.
Adding Time Stamps to Chat is what iChat has always done particularly with AIM based Chats.
The "Sync" in Messages is "display on all devices" and after that each iMessages is dealth with separately on each device.
There is no syncing of deleting/dimssing an iMessages or having read it on another device.

There are Parameters DESTTYPE, DESFORMAT and DESNAME. You can set these parameters to get as you want.
1) Output in Excel File
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESTYPE', TEXT_PARAMETER, 'FILE');
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESFORMAT', TEXT_PARAMETER, 'DELIMITED');
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESNAME', TEXT_PARAMETER, '<file_name>.XLS');2) output to printer
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESTYPE', TEXT_PARAMETER, 'PRINTER');
     ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'DESNAME', TEXT_PARAMETER, '<printer_name>');3) Email - Have to configure SMTP and all. ( i didn't checked it)
