Applecare not showing up on Apple's web page
I enrolled all 3 of my computers in Applecare, however only 2 of the 3 are showing up on Apple's web page. I called and was told that the 1 not showing up was enrolled......just a little concerned.
Any comments?It seems to take a while for the system to update. I had the same problem, but I don't remember how long it took for it to show up. Mine is now in the system, but they have the purchase date wrong. The web page shows 5/12/05 and the purchase was 5/23/05. They do indicate it is an estimated date which is strange. I just noticed my Applecare agreement shows 5/11/05 effective date. I guess I'll call for a correction.

how do i fix my printer when it won't show the print preview for web pages? it worked for a while and now it doesn't. printer is an hp officejet 7310 all-in-one.
I would suspect this is a hardware issue. The rollers are probably having issues picking up the relatively smooth thick media. You might have better results be cleaning the paper pickup rollers with a damp paper towel. Also make sure the paper is snugly loaded and the paper guides have been correctly positioned.

HTML5, CSS3, Java Script- which should one learn first?
Super beginner here. Been awhile since worked in Dreamweaver so like starting over from the beginning. Which of the three is the base one needs to start with in learning- Java, HTML or CSS3. Know each is specialized in various areas but as a starting point which should be the first to learn? Thank you....

Definitely HTML first.
Everything else in a webpage (CSS, JS, PHP etc) relies on HTML for structure and 'hooks' so that the page works properly.
You'll probably find yourself learning HTML and CSS in parallel since they're so closely intertwined on modern websites. -
Showing Visual composer iviews within Web Page Composer (wpc)?
I am able to integrate KM iviews from the PCD into my web page composer pages, but when I try showing Flex 2 iviews generated by Visual Composer the flash runs on top of everything else on the page. The flash is simply put at page coordinates 0 x 0 whatever page region you try to put it in.
This is if iview isolation methold is set to embedded. If iview isolation method is set to URL then nothing is shown as the region is simply collapsed as if the content wasn't there.
I know there is a limitation to using Web Dynpro iviews with WPC pages, but the documentation says nothing about Visual Composer iviews.
Tips?
Henning StrandFixed by choosing fixed height for the iview (pcd config) and keeping isolation method set to URL.
This is as opposed to integrating KM iviews (document lists) where isolation method should be set to embedded and height kept to automatic.

Deskjet840c on win7 script error message is preventing printing from a web page.
when I try to print from a webpage I get a script error message that says line1527---error invalid argument---code0---url res://ieframe.dll/preview.js. I can print ok from documents stored on pc and have tried all the fixes I can think of. It worked fine before microsoft auto update on 02/12/11.I was using int browser 9 but downloaded firefox browser recently on which I can print web pages ok.would like to fix original prob.Help!--anyone.

If you are able to print documents from the computer and Firefox then you will need to contact Microsoft support so they can assist you with fixing IE 9.

Configuring active x container to show only part of a web page (net camera)
I've been working on an interface controlling a goniometer for crystal alignment.
A NETcam has been plugged into the network and streams a live image from the equipment being moved by the controls.
I need to integrate the NETcam into the control panel.
I've managed to do this but the actual NETcam has a built in homepage on it with few custom features to ammend a custom page fully.
I am stuck with the streaming image in the middle of a web page from the active x window.
Is there any way I can cut out part of a web page to view only a certain area of it with no scroll bars aswell? The cam is an AXIS2100.

Take a look at the code for the web page. You may find that the camera is itself either another URL, or an image that is part of the page. I haven't worked with this type of data before, but I have worked extensively with web content and HTML, as well as browsers.
You can try several things. If the camera has a URL, use datasocket to link to that. If the image is a separate link, which you can tell by right clicking on the webcam image and clicking "save link as...", then you can setup your browser to look at this image only.
If you can, post the URL for the page you are having problems with, or email me the source for it, and I will try to help.

How does the browser "show-the-user" when a web page is SECURE?
Whenever I use Firefox I end up filling out a secure form.
...however...
The browser never SHOWS ME that the page IS SECURE.
All other browsers I have ever used, IE, Opera, Netscape all show the user when they are viewing a secured web page. I need to see that the connection is secure before sending sensitive info.

List which should show as empty until items are searched

I've inserted an App Part of a list using a custom view. This view shows only the title of the items. My goal is to have the list shown as empty (=basically only showing the search box of the App Part) until the user searches the list.
I'd like to achieve this with OOTB features if it's just possible. The search box for the list is activated from its properties (Display search box).
I wonder if this could be achieved somehow with list view filtering, such as "Show the items when column [Title] [contains] [searchboxvalue]".
I'm aware of the Filter web parts, but their straight provided requirement to match exactly the item's title is something I'm trying to avoid with the list's own search box.Hi,

The issue shouldn't in the referencing of jQuery. I entered alert boxes to different parts of the code followingly:

The alert first was popped up right after refreshing the page. The
second came 5 seconds later (Timeout function). The alert third popped up once clicking the actual search symbol (magnifying lens
or the x-symbol for clearing the search). fourth

Hi I have an ipod shuffle which worked well on my old pc but since i have tried to link it with my new laptop I cant get it to sinc. I have athorised the device to my laptop so i thought it maybe worth resetting it but all the info I have read tells me that to reset my ipod i need to open i tunes and on the left hand side in the 'source panel' i will find my ipod listed but when i open itunes i do not have a source panel so i cant reset it. i have spent days trying to get this problem sorted and am about to throw the thing away. I have tried to manually sinc the thing, i have installed and reinstalled the latest version of itunes, i have restarted my laptop but i dont know what to do next. any help would be very much appreciated. However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Why can Firefox not show ALT Tex on its web pages
I cannot get Firefox to show ALT Tex when the mouse passes over links ect. I do not have this problem with Internet Explorer. Please help me on this matter, as a web designer I would like this feture to work in Firefox.
ALT text is meant to be displayed when the image isn't displayed. The TITLE tag is for displaying information about the image. You should use both attributes for every image.

Flash player not showing all of pix on web page
Have latest flash player 11, IE 10, windows 7 64bit. Have tried everything that I have found on your site, still having problem when I go to a page, all of pix will not show up. Have downloaded firefox, but it is the same. Also talked to internet provider, says its not their problem, but they tried a lot of different thing. Activex filtering not checked. Shockwave flash object enabled. What should I do next?????

Firefox doesn't show jpg files from a web page while other browsers do
I have created a page and uploaded www.nutechequipments.com/equipment.html page doesn't show the jpg files in only firefox everywhere including Dubai. But all the other browsers show the uploaded jpg pictures in perfect manner. In Firefox only the table is loaded with placeholders. It is not a problem with my computer. It is the problem all over the world.

Since upgrading Firefox, it doesn't respond when I click on print and/or print preview while displaying web pages.. No error message, just no response. I tried using both my printers..a HP and a Canon and get no results with either. I have no problem printing from any other place (including "Print" instructions within web pages, usually). I have recently upgraded my desktop (Dell Vostro 220) to Windows 7 and it went smoothly. The Firefox upgrade came at about the same time, so I don't know if Windows 7 is part of the problem. I need be able to print from the screen of web pages!

Have you looked at the Knowledge Base article [[Firefox prints incorrectly]]? There is some good troubleshooting information in there. I would suggest that you try resetting your print settings.
