The CD/DVD drive does not work. It will not load or eject. It makes buzzing noises. Should I replace it? With what? I don't need to burn anything, I just need to read. Thank you.
Yes replace it. It most likely has mechanical problems that are not readily repaired. CD-RW/DVD combo drives can be had very resonably and OS X supports just about any brand or model you will find.

I don't believe there is a square brush among the sets that ship with Photoshop, but there are plenty to download, and it is super easy to make one.
Just drag with the rectangular Marquee tool, fill with black on a new layer, and go Edit > Define brush preset

Real simple question ... need guidance
I have Creative Suite 5 Design Premium, but haven't used more than DW and ID yet. I have a product catalog in a PDF and want to create a file (Flash?) that viewers on our website can "flip" though simulating flipping through a catalog. There are serveral 3rd-party apps that convert PDFs to "flippable books," but wanted to know if it can be done this using the CS5 suite? Can it be done, or do I need a 3rd-party app? If so, can you please tell me which CS5 App and basically how it is done.

I need help, all I need is a simple adobe reader. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
yesterday I downloaded what I thought was a simple adobe reader and it took 4 to 4 1/2 hours to download plus 52 MB of space on my PC. This morning I tried to view a PDF and it said I had to download a reader. The one I downloaded said with AIR..... Can someone please direct me to a plain ole READER, I don't do anything but try and view a file online once or twice a month. Also, a reader that won't take 4 hours to download with my dial-up connection and won't take up 52 MB's of space on my pc

Position Class...- Simple question - urgent help needed
I am only having problems with Position parameters....what the hell does a Position refer
to? A number? Do you supply a number for Position parameter to find a node in a
doubly linked list? It seems that it goes by that way, but how the heck do you located it
with a Position parameter p (Postion p)? Doubly /singly linked lists have no reference this
with numbers....I am only confused when you have instances like:

How do you instantenously locate the appropriate node in a Linked list via Position p
parameter?

I supply number 3 for a third node in a linked list? or what?i can not see a Object remove(Position p) in LinkedList , and the only Position class I can think of is in javax.swing.text - which is to do with marking positions in text documents. ?

is apple tv (2nd gen) convenient compared to airport express when it comes to audio airplay ?
i currently have my amp connected via optical cable to my airport express , everytime i want to listen to songs from my iphone , all i need to is switch on my amp and airport express , and then play from my iphone.
the following are my doubts
1.i know that apple tv has mirroring and video airplay as well , but will it play audio songs from my iphone , just like my AE without any hassle of clicking anything or do i need to switch on my tv and opt for some settings ? ( my point is , is it as simple as AE or do i need to select a setting or 2 , i really dont have the patience of selecting any settings nor switch on the tv , my AE is **** simple cause all i need to do is switch it on )
2.i have a airplay enabled amp in other room , can i play a video from my itunes to apple tv (2nd gen ) and amp at the same time ? since the apple tv will play video also , will the audio play at the same time on both the apple tv and my airplay enabled amp ? or is there a lag between the 2 ,cause apple tv needs to play the video as well ?

There are lots of simple examples on JSP custom tags that have
a .tld file, a .java file with the handler class, and a .jsp
file that calls the custom tag to test it.
My question is, lets say I have a .tld file, a .java file and
a .jsp file for a tag example. How do I deploy them to
Oracle 9iAS r2? I'd like to code an example and deploy it,
but I'm stuck. I'm using Jdeveloper 9i, and have compiled the
.java file and included it and the .tld in a Custom Taglib JAR.
How is this JAR deployed to Oracle 9iAS, considering that the
Enterprise Manager only deploys WAR and EAR files? How do
a configure a web app to use the custom tags...
This should be simple -- maybe its too simple so I'm stuck!check out ojspdemos which comes with the product.

May be slightly simple question from a new Mac user: Why can't I quit safari? I cannot quit it from top menu bar neither to do it from dock? All other apps are working normally.
Or you can actived the right button on your magic mouse and click on they icon in the dock. then you select "stop" and it's out of your dock.

Not to be critical, but in the time you have waited to find out how to contact Adobe you probably would have had your question answered by someone here on the forum. Many times people have been given bad information when they have found a way to contact Adobe. Much of the so-called technical support has been outsourced overseas. And the people manning the phones have no experience with Adobe products. So you can complain some more. Or, you can ask your question. It's your choice.
