A simple theme for a 8800

Hope I can get some advise
OK so it seems you cannot set the 8800 to have no theme
What will solve my problem would be a simple plain or uncluttered theme which makes reading Text and e-mail easier
Can anyone direct me to location to download a plain theme the auto download always end up offering what I already have

I agree, cannot find a plain theme anywhere. this phone is awesome, only fault I find is with trying to read my messages, its a shame, i dont want to have to try and work out what a word is because its hidden behind some themed picture. Nokia never replied to me either with regards just a plain white theme, oh well i guess its back to squinting around iced thrill lol.

How do I leverage a custom theme for Outlook 2013?

Microsoft has a problem. They use the term "theme" in Office in 2 different ways: 1) the 3 background colors you can choose of the Office applications and 2) a collection of colors, fonts, and layout that can be customized and defined by the user
for the applications.
I know how to create a theme in PowerPoint and save it as a default for all new presentations. Allegedly you can you this across Office applications but this is where it breaks down (as far as my user experience goes).
I've created a theme in PowerPoint. It has my custom colors. I want to use that same collection in Outlook.
I can apply it on a email by email basis (Options menu for an email), but I want the default email (new or reply) to use that custom theme. I see my theme in the drop down menu under a heading of Custom, but there isn't a way to set it as default
(behavior differs from PowerPoint here).
So I look under the Outlook File menu, then Options and select Mail. You can change stationary, but the custom theme isn't an option there.
Then there is Styles under the Format Text menu when in a new email. There are color options and font options, but again, no way to leverage the work I did in creating the custom theme.
Searching on customizing themes for Outlook only gets me answers on the first use of the word theme, not the latter.
Is there no way to you the theme I created for Outlook 2013?

Its very simple - if you want a product that remains consistent and does not change its layout every few years, that is fully customizable, and will remain being supported by subsequent operating systems, then get an open source product running in an open
source OS. It seems that you can no longer rely on MS to provide consistency, stability, or support for their own products.
When will MS realise that customer familiarity with their products is their intellectual property, like branding, which you would never trash every five years. Imagine that MS wanted to change their name to a new company name, or their Outlook brand to Inlook
- it would never happen. So why is thee trade getup and arrangement changing so often and against what their customers want? Is it to justify thee new products? Maybe with cloud and 365, they will finally be happy and stop mucking about with what works (after
they change everything back to '95 /XP format?).

PLEASE: How can I save my iphone texts and "notes" (not "the note") to my computer? I need them for reference and legal purposes. I have yet to find an app for this and iphone doesn't sync either one.

My current situation: I have soooo many texts on my iphone and I haven't deleted many because I need the information contained in them for
future reference and for legal purposes. I would really like to find a means and way to save them other than on the phone itself.
I've done searches for various apps yet I'm not finding what I think I would need. It appears Apple does not sync the texts between the iphone and
my MacBook Pro.
Also I often use Notes for quick journaling as well as copy and pasting from other apps, usually inspirational, that I know I am going to want
to read again (always with credit noted ) and these too are taking up space. If I could email myself I would but the apps I'm using don't offer that and each day there is a new commentary -- no way to go "back".
I am currently using OS 10.6.8 on my MacBook -- my disc drive doesn't work and upgrading has to be done at the Apple Store so I don't have iCloud yet.
My iphone 4 is running OS 6.0.1 -- no upgrade until I'm at a wifi connection -- most of the time I'm using my personal hotspot.
I'm a very busy self-employed Nana raising grandchildren and a great-grandchild. I don't have a lot of time and certainly not enough for copying and pasting every text as well as note and emailing it to myself. There has got to be a better, easier way, yes?
I'd be most appreciative of any and all assistance here. Oh, someone mentioned to me I ought to get a "stick" for downloading but were talking
in a language I'm still learning.

Themes for 700w?

Hi,
I just got a 700w and am liking it a lot. When the money starts rolling I'll probably upgrade to a newer Palm. Anyway, I was hoping to find a theme that has a kind of sleek look to it. The iPhone theme looks neat but I'd rather have something that still looks like WinMo. I found this one: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-touchone.html
It's supposed to be WinMo 5 compatible but it seems that I don't have the right NET CF. If I upgrade this will the theme work? I notice that it doesn't support SQVGA. Can anyone recommend a good theme for the Treo that isn't simple changing the color of the Today screen? So many themes out there seem to be changing the background and color of the today screen and that's it.

I think I have a solution that will at least give you a clue how to go about it. I have simplified the tables you mentioned and created them as temporary tables on my side, with some fake data to test with. I have incldued the generation of these temporary
tables for your review.
In my example I have included:
1. A customer which has purchased the same product on the same day, using the same ship 3 times,
2. Another example the same as the first but the third purchase was on a different day
3. Another example the same as the first but the third purchase was a different product
4. Another example the same as the first but the third purchase was using a different "ShipVia".
You should be able to see that by grouping on all of the columns that you wich to return, you should not need to perform any subselects.
Please let me know if I have missed any requirements.

Use a gtk theme for one app and another for the whole system??

I would like to know if is it possible to use a theme for one application and use another for the remaining of the system? I use OpenBox and I change themes with Lxappearance...

Uhh, thanks mauryck for the question and anonymous_user for the answer! I use a very slow gtk theme, and one program suffer from it, but this theme is so beautiful so I dont like to change. Never though about this solution, use a different theme only for this program!

Simple database for server.

I have a curious request but maybe someone could help me. We have a critical server that is having control of all the pumps of the city. So with that server water flows and the citizens are happy!
On that server, there are some service providers that log on it to make maintenance work. The problem is that the employees of that department know when they log in and but
not what they do when they are in.
They want to put a single excel file on the desktop so that every service provider would have to fill (date, time, name of company, user name, what they did on the server etc...). Best practice for servers do not recommend installation of Microsoft Office
and i totally agree with that. Still I have to offer them an alternative. Do you know a simple software that could do something related to excel. That way they will be able to get what they need but at the same time the server will not be able to open xls/
xlsx files.

I guess you could use a text file as a log and vendors could just use built-in notepad.exe to create field delimited log entries like this:
Date/time; Service Provider; Change
Feb 17, 16:35; Vendor ABC; did some stuff
Feb 17, 19:49; Vendor XYZ; changed setting blue from to 123 to 999
But creating a (PowerShell) script on the desktop that vendors double-click, that prompts them for information and then writes that information to the server's (or better yet remote server's)
Event Log seems like a better approach. With the Event log approach, vendors can't tamper with previous log entries or entries from other vendors.
If this is really a critical system that controls the water supply for a city, you need much tighter change control and security then this; the honor system doesn't cut it. You didn't really
need to tell us about the fact that this system controlled the critical infrastructure of your city; there's no need to make the bad guys job any easier finding targets.

I’m afraid these are not really exist. The official documentation doesn’t include Right-To-Left references, and I’m not really familiar with any other on-line documentations that cover this issue. As far as I know, the relevant chapter in my book is the first (and probably the only) time where APEX Right-To-Left development support was covered.
The following thread can give you a hint on how to start (the CSS direction attribute) and why this is not enough. As I said before, Right-To-Left development is fully supported by APEX but it’s not that simple and can’t be covered in a single forum thread. I know I’m bias (as I wrote the book) but if you are serious about developing Right-To-Left APEX applications you should consider purchasing the book. For the long run, it will save you a lot of time (and frustration).

Themes for iPhone

Hi!
So, I'm using iPhones and iPads for 4 years/2 years now, all of them are bought from an Apple retail store, no Jailbreaking whatsoever.
The only think MISSING are THEMES for the iPhone/iPad and the ability for users to make some changes to the lockscreen/homescreen. If this was introduced, I'd say fewer and fewer people would actually even consider Jailbreaking.
Please, Apple, can't you make themes for the iPhone/iPad? Or let developers tweek into this area? I don't mean simple background pictires, I mean actual themes with new icon pictures and everything.

Basic theme for 6125

I'm looking for a plain and simple theme with no background graphics for Nokia 6125. This is a must for a user with seeing disabilities. At least in some models this theme is under a name 'Basic.nth'. The theme was not included in phone when I bought it nor it is available in nokia.com.

Make theme for nokian97

Hi, i'm new in forum and i have a question.
I know that i'm off-topic but, someone can help me to make a theme for my nokia n97?
I want a simple theme.. The same theme that is in the phone as default.. but only with a one change
I want change the background on the menu
I tryed to make a theme with ownskin, but the theme have some problems.. when i switch it from vertical to horizontal the background is ugly!
I also tryed to use Carbide.ui Theme Edition 3.4 but it's a little hard to use..

Different Themes for BB Tour

I have switched from a BB 8330 to a BB Tour. I used the "Theme" BB Dimension Today on my curve because it showed my calendar appointments on home screen. As far as I can tell the BB Tour only has two themes, the verizon and precision zen. Can I download the Dimension Today theme or is there any way I can set my tour to show my calendar appointments on home screen?

The program to create themes, Plazmic CDK (Content Developer's Kit), has not yet been updated to version 4.7. Their latest release was 4.6 for the Bold so until then, theme builders or developers will be unable to create themes for the 8900 or the Storm.
Hang tight. They'll release an update soon.
And to answer your question, no you cannot install an 8800 theme on to an 8900 device because the screen resolution is different. A theme is designed based on the blackberry screen, so because the 8900's resolution (480 x 360) is unique to the other 8xxx series, it will not be able to read any themes other than a 480 x 360 theme which like I mentioned above, has not been created or updated in the theme builder program.

I'm going to guess videos buffer for a while also...
Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow.
